Fantastic location with steps to restaurants and bars. Great top floor corner room with scenic view. Clean comfortable and good breakfast option (hot and cold). Saw the northern lights from room!! Check in staff friendly and efficient.

I would like to stay here again to experience more of central Rekyavik!

I was only here to sleep and head out on my trip but the room was very comfortable and the staff was quite friendly.

Fenomenal hotel en pleno centro

Todo estupendo. Emplazamiento, comodidad de la habitación, personal agradable y bien dispuesto. En especial destaco las zonas comunes, muy agradables y los armarios para guardar los equipajes, que usé al hacer el check out. El precio es muy razonable para el estándar de Islandia

Centralissimo, ma speravo molto meglio!

La posizione dell'albergo è strategica per visitare il centro città. Colazione nel complesso soddisfacente, nella diversificazione dolce/salato.

nonostante una prenotazione fatta quattro mesi prima, ci è stata assegnata una stanza al pian terreno, con finestra su una strada secondaria, pertanto abbiamo dovuto oscurare con le tende per non essere osservati dai passanti curiosi e rimanere sempre con la luce accesa: richiesto alla reception un cambio stanza, risposta: l'Hotel è pieno! Non ho riscontrato una apprezzabile cortesia nella risposta, e in generale nell'assistenza ad altre domande rivolte al personale. Il materasso del letto di una morbidezza insopportabile, si affondava letteralmente. La stanza, priva di armadio, tranne una gruccia a vista, era di dimensioni almeno adeguate. Sicuramente richiedeva una tinteggiatura alle pareti.

Personale fredda mai un sorriso

La posizione

Il personale molto fredda non ci facevano aprire la porta per entrare gli facciamo segnò che dobbiamo entrare erano le 3 di notte e dal banco del reception mi dicevano du USAre la carta per aprire la porta del hotel ma se non avevo ancora fatto il check in come faccio a avere la carta comunque dopo un paio di minuti fare dei gesti come le scimmie dal vetro e arrivato il ragazzo che parlava anche spagnolo ad aprire e mi ha detto scusa perché il duo collega era da ammazzare

Don't go there.

When the room is sub-par and the staff refuse to help the location and breakfast are irrelevant. Breakfast is ok. But we didn't like anything. It7s kind of like a lame hostel.

When we asked to be put in a different room, as the room we were given was smelly and loud from the restaurant next door. The front of desk answer at the time was: "we have no more rooms and ah yes that room is loud, but they will stop at 11-12pm ... " The next day we left. At least the other lady at the desk in the morning was more civilised and kinder.

Our thanks to the Center Hotels Plaza's employees for their jobs well done

The location of the Center hotels Plaza was perfect for our visit. We were able to have an early check-in, enjoy a great breakfast and take a nap upon our 6:30 Am arrival at the international airport! We then were able to explore and enjoy our first day in Reykjavik ...the Perlan museum, Hallgrimskirkja, the harbor walk & the shopping district right outside our front door!

We enjoyed everything during our stay. For our group, the 24 hours of daylight & our view of the plaza & all the 12:00 -4 AM festivities in plaza below our room limited our night's rest! :)

In the center

Excellent location in the city center. We had a car and not expensive parking spaces were easy to be found pretty near the hotel. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Early breakfast was offered when we had to leave early to the airport.

A room floor might need a little renovation. Obviously there was a flood in the bathroom in the past which ruined the floor in the room.

Lors de la réservation, j'ai demandé des informations sur le parking et j'ai immédiatement recu une réponse très détaillée avec le fonctionnement des zones de parking en ville et des recommandations très utiles. Le personnel à la réception est très chaleureux et serviable. Les chambres sont très grandes (nous avons même eu un upgrade la 2nde fois), confortables et bien équipées. La literie est excellente. L'Hotel est en plein coeur du quartier animé, mais on n'entend aucun bruit si on a une chambre qui donne sur l'arrière

Molt cèntric, habitació amb totes les comoditats, llit còmode. Tenir nevera a l’habitació. Bon esmorzar.

L’esmorzar comença a les 7 i hauria estar bé una mica abans. La primera nit no van fer l’habitació.

Most negative point was: you could hear how your neighbors upstairs are walking VERY loudly (might even wake you up)! Also, bath needs urgent renovation and the hotel looks way better in pictures.

Exceptional location!

Exceptional location. You are on the main road, next door to a museum, a stones through from the Parliament building and Bus Stop 1, and opposite a great resturant. Opposite a road full of shops and resturants and around the corner from Rainbow Road. Great price considering the location and in comparison to many other hotels.

Great place to stay. Would book again and recommend.

This hotel really is in the middle of where you want to be. Bus stop1 is around the corner. Practically every tour pick up collects and drops off from there. Clean. Spacious with a small bar. There is a supermarket beside the hotel for snacks. Great reception. Good house keeping staff.

Breakfast was a bit of a scrum. Probably not enough space for all the guests. The serving space was tight which meant everyone was bumping into each other when going for food. It was also very hot. So not the most relaxing breakfast but there was plenty of it and a good selection of foods.

Location was good. Breakfast was sufficient.

Room was not as pictured. Had old carpet ( not wooden floors as shown), furniture was tired and marked everywhere. Felt like an old hospital room.

It was what I expected. Good price and great location.

The location was excelent, and staff was super helpful. The room was comfortable.

They gave us a room that was a little hard to reach (it was in the second building so we had to go to the third floor, cross a bridge and go down one floor). The room was not perfectly square, you could see that one of the walls was a diagonal, which was a little weird (but not that bad). The bathroom was super small and basic.

Excellent location. Good breakfast, clean, comfortable room. Our room had a very nice balcony. The gelato place next door is a great bonus!
