Plenty of space in our room. Bathroom had a very good shower and plenty of towels. It was quiet and had very efficient air conditioning. Comfortable bed and a quiet room with lots of wardrobe space
The hotel could do with a bit of updating and our bathroom was neat and clean but a bit tired looking. The hotel corridor carpets were quite dated and looked as though they had seen plenty of people walking them. There was no drinking water in the room although there was a fridge and tea making facilities.
Breakfast was a big disappointment. The menus offered a number of cooked breakfast alternatives but I appear to have chosen the only hotel where the chef could not boil eggs. They were not on the menu and we were told that the chef could not offer them. Poached, yes, boiled, no. Cereal was in a poorly operating container and was not very fresh. Staff were not very helpful and one or two looked as though they would have preferred to be anywhere else.

Great location and very helpful and friendly staff. Nice large room and pet friendly

Location is perfect for all tourist facilities. Open top sightseeing bus stops nearby and at the station, helpful if you don’t take a car.
A bit pricey for what it is.

We have stayed here several times before. The room we specifically requested was not available and we were only staying one night.
We were upgraded to The Shakespeare Suite which was a lovely room but right on the main road so very noisy
With my wife being a very light sleeper the overall experience was quite miserable.

Location was fantastic
The food and service in the restaurant. Breakfast nothing like pictures...we received a Quarter of a field mushroom each with our full English. Decided to try evening meal, items changed on dish and service slow and disorganised.

Location and friendly staff.
The breakfast staff were very helpful with my gluten free diet.
Our room (101 ... yes really!) was on the ground floor right next to a busy road so there was a lot of traffic noise. The bedroom was large but had a depressing feel to it, the decor was browny beige and the lighting was dull.
The bathroom was small and dimly lit (it was impossible to put make up on in there!) There were no hooks to hang robes or toiletry bags and the bath had scale and marks around the taps and plug hole.
The pillows were dreadful! They were lumpy, flat and hard and hurt my head and as a result I only got 3 hours sleep.
Fortunately we were only there for one night.

Location was good.
Room was too hot. Plus we had an issue with 2 items going missing from our bag and after it being reported, it miraculously appeared when we returned at the end of the night........not likely to stay here again.

The Swans Nest hotel is perfectly situated for visiting Stratford, just a short stroll from both the town centre and the RSC. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful and pleasant.
Possibly the firmest bed we have ever slept in - we both ended up with aches and pains after a none too comfortable night - only reason I can’t give the hotel a flying colours review.

Tea/ coffee, toiletries provided and iron. Didn’t try restaurant facilities but it seemed lively. Quick check in.
Room needs updating- ceiling paint peeling off, bathroom door wouldn’t close. Friends room stained duvet and few other problems however only realised when checked in late - housekeeping helpful in morning. Very loud from early in the morning with heavy doors opening and closing- could hear a lot. Housekeeping around from early!

Ideal location for exploring all the beautiful things Stratford upon Avon offers. We took our little dog and the very pleasant hotel reception staff gave him a doggy welcome pack which was very thoughtful. The staff were so helpful. Very nice breakfast and staff.
Having to pay for car parking in hotel grounds £5 per day. I feel if your staying in hotel you shouldn't have to pay for parking your car
