The location was great
There were a few things in the room that could have been better. A dripping tap in the sink, shower cubicle on the whole could have done with a face lift.

Walking distance to Shakespeare Theatre; convenient location to explore the town.

A great location, lovely staff, and a superb breakfast. Great bed and linen!
The Wifi connector flashed a bright light into the room all night. Had to cover it with pillows to block out the disturbance.

Staff extremely welcoming
Location perfect
Room 10 bathroom musky smell
Basic continental breakfast

We called ahead as we needed an early check in, Jarrod was so friendly and helpful and the housekeeping staff facilitated this which was greatly appreciated.
When we arrived back at the hotel later that evening my husband was ill and Jarrod made him a lemon and honey drink as there were no shops open selling medication.
The room was gorgeous, comfortable with everything we needed including a fan and cold water in the fridge. The breakfast was really tasty. I will definitely stay at The Townhouse again, I appreciate great service and facilities. Thank you!
Nothing!

The Townhouse is a lovely historic building very well situated in Chapel Street just a short walk to the theatre and the tourist attractions. There is a large car park just a short walk away too. We had a lovely room, great shower room etc. Thought really good value for money and would stay there again.
Service a bit slow at breakfast and had to go and find coffee.

We had a lovely spacious room. It was very quiet and comfortable.

the old style charm, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful bedrooms
disappointed the bar was closed on our return from RSC on a Tuesday evening.
continental breakfast costs extra and is unimaginative.

Lovely pub and nicely styled rooms. Very helpful staff. easy walk to theatre. Great value.
Glasses for a drink of water in the room would be helpful.

Loved the friendly helpful staff and the decor of the hotel. Found the bed comfortable and all the facilities in the room excellent. Really enjoyed the breakfast.
very small thing... would have liked nicer bread for the toast at breakfast and maybe a biscuit in the room

stunning building with so much character
the cleanliness could be improved drastically. So many areas had been missed. such a shame as it would take the quality of the whole stay up if there was attention to detail.

it has a fantastic location so near to almost all Shakespeare attractions. Rooms were very comfortable and more importantly keep clean and tidy.
Nothing apart from a slightly overcooked English breakfast.

The location in Stratford was perfect, close to all attractions. Decor in the hotel was very tasteful and clean. Our welcome by Dan was excellent and he kindly helped us up the stairs with our luggage. The restaurant was good.
The fridge was very noisy in our room and we couldn't get to the socket to turn it off. The restaurant at breakfast time was only staffed by one person so it was rather chaotic on our 2nd morning, so much so that most of our group of 7 didn't have time to order cooked breakfast. Coffee took at least 30 minutes to arrive and items on the breakfast buffet were not restocked for a long time. We had to wait for a delivery of yoghurt and at least 30 minutes for croissants to be heated. Shortness of staff in the kitchen and the restaurant seemed to be the problem that morning.

Super comfortable relaxing setting.
it has improved so much since last year!

The staff went out of their way to assist with the room and our meals. We appreciated the flexibility with room selection. At the start and end of the day, we enjoyed our meals in your restaurant.
