Great breakfast and location
The bed was rock hard

Staff were nice. And very clean bedroom etc.
Dinner was very poor - and expensive

The location is excellent, just a few minutes away from the train station and from the city centre. The staff was kind and helpful, and the toiletries were fantastic. Lots of sockets, which is always helpful.
The bed was on the too-soft side which made it a bit uncomfortable, especially when you have a bad back.
9.0
Central location, modern well equipped rooms
Grubby carpets in the bedroom

Situation, comfort, staff.
Curtain wouldn’t pull right across window, letting in street light. A few small cobwebs. Chair seat needed a scrub.

Short walk from busy Temple Meads Station. Small historic park out the back great for picnic also handy for pubs, restaurants and convenience stores. Plenty of drawers and storage so didn’t have to live out of suitcase. Everything had solid feel about it if little old fashioned.
As usual, not enough tea bags and coffee/milk sachets plus only basic toiletries. Shame the safe didn’t work and there was no fridge. Not a lot of drawer space to store clothes.

Great location for work as it’s a 3 mins walk to my office. Staff are friendly. Love the Crabtree toiletries. It’s quiet. Got me to join Honours club.
As a 4-star hotel, room a bit basic. Toilet is small.
8.0
The location we could get a bus outside or walk from back of hotel to the river. The staff were friendly both on the reception desk and in the resturant. Our bedroom was on the garden side and quiet at night. Toiletries are nice in bathroom
It can't be changed but the bathroom is very small not much space for 2 people to put anything.
7.0
Quiet room
Friendly staff
Walking distance to the main shopping area
Breakfast was ok nothing special
Room especially the bathroom was very tired and fittings were falling off the wall
Was a let down being a ‘4 star’ hotel and in reality maybe a 2

Occasionally parking can be an issue when hotel is fully booked

Staff, location, reception area and breakfast were all what I would expect from this standard of hotel. I could not find how to get into the car park and had to phone direct, the male member of staff on reception was lovely and helpful
I was disappointed with the room. The bed was very uncomfortable and the 2 chairs were dirty and stained, it just felt like a poor standard for the price and other aspects
8.0
Very good breakfast, good selection, and attentive staff, willing to help with any questions.
Nothing. I think it was good value.
5.0
Very central to everything. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
The staff at reception charged my son on his credit card for his room even though we had paid for both rooms. The bar prices were ridiculously high .

Alloggio comodo alla stazione dei treni e alla fermata dell’autobus. Si raggiunge facilmente l’aeroporto. Staff molto cordiale e accogliente.
Non mi piace la moquette nelle camere, mi da un senso di poca igiene.

Location, helpful staff and breakfast
The room was very basic, we had to get the towels changed as they were dirty.
The shower was the worst one I had every used it was broken and water kept pouring out everywhere.
Not impressed!

Breakfast was fine
Disappeared in dinner. I had lamb shank which was nice, however peas weren’t nice nor were the carrots. Simple vegetables can be cooked well, and fresh

The Staff were excellent, the food was amazing too.
Found the hotel itself to be in a reasonably good location.
The chairs in the room were a bit damaged it wasn't too clean either on the floor at least. No real plugs or USB charging points which for the price I think isn't great.

Receptionist Tayla was very professional, welcoming and exceptionally helpful. In general the staff were all welcoming, helpful and did their best to ensure we had a good stay.
Selection for breakfast did not cater for non meat eaters. Could also consider adding hot chocolate to the list of hot beverages and a welcoming bottle of water each in the fridge.
7.0
Reasonable room good location and if you manage to get a car parking spot it is helpful and a lot cheaper than most other car parks.
You cannot book a car park spot in advance. The Bar area was not great. Lifts got very busy at peak times so we walked to our room.

Impressive shower pressure , bed was comfortable , nice lovely lady at the reception.
Mini fridge included
Loud sound in the morning ( 7 am ) construction workers next door, couldn't sleep anymore.

Easy walk from Temple Meads Railway station and to the town centre and other city attractions. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant was very good. Nice to be able to sit and have a drink on the terrace overlooking a small park at the rear of the hotel and away from the busy road at the front.
Bathroom was rather small.

Reasonable room with functional bathroom and shower.
Position, easy walk into the city centre.

Loved the room and the bathroom was very clean throughout!! :)
Loved the location and how it was close to where I wanted to go
Staff where really friendly
I didn’t get any room service when I stayed. Would of liked it if it was possible :)
Could of done with a few more sockets but that’s me being picky

Substantial breakfast, eggs cooked to order, cold meats and cheeses were fresh and appealing, as were the pastries and fresh fruit. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, helpful and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. The restaurant is also light and airy. We had dinner in the restaurant on two nights out of the three of our stay. The meals were freshly made and of high quality, again served by friendly staff. What we particularly liked about this hotel is that it has a relaxed atmosphere and is not so big as to make it impersonal. Added to that, the staff throughout the hotel are extremely helpful. Reception staff were welcoming and always ready to provide information about the city, means of transport and places to visit. Overall, a most pleasant stay!

Location was great for what we were there for
Bed was uncomfortable, hardly slept both nights. The lady behind the bar was really slow serving and also served two dead largers.
5.0
Nothing. Our room was small and looked very tired.
It looked old and tired and the bed was awful and squeaky.
8.0
Staff were great. Comfy bed and clean. Excellent breakfast.
A little dated, probably seen a lot of traffic due its location. Snacks expensive, but probably correct given mark ups.
4.0
The location is excellent, but the car park is limited and expensive. There should be reference to a cheaper car park on the other side of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, but otherwise the food menu is limited, portions are smaller than before and quite expensive. Last orders in the restaurant and for room service is at 9.30 pm and food service closes at 10 pm. For early departures, there are no breakfast options. The restaurant gets over-crowded and busy with groups travelling. Other customers at the hotel must sit and eat in the small bar section with a wide screen mostly on sports (soccer) channels.
I had booked a room with king-size bed, fridge, laptop safe and balcony. There are no rooms with balcony and also got a room on the noisy street side, not park side. There was a small safe, but no laptop safe and no fridge. The room cost also included bathrobe and slippers that were not in the room and were not provided by the hotel. The management blamed Booking com and agreed to refund only £20 per night. No refund for not having breakfast upon early departure. The manager of the reception, Peter was rather rude and inattentive. This has happened before, too, when my restaurant meals were charged to my room although I paid for the in the restaurant. That led to a long exchange with the hotel to sort out the overcharges..

Łatwy proces rezerwacji i zameldowania, korzystna lokalizacja, wszędzie blisko, dobre śniadania, wygodne łóżko. Pozwolono nam wejść 10 min przed śniadaniem, ponieważ śpieszyliśmy sie na samolot. Świetna obsługa.
Czasami trzask drzwi sąsiadów powoduje lekki niepokój.

Staff were brilliant. We arrived early and were checked in to the room. All were friendly and accommodating
