All in one place, 30 mins kids activity every evening, Sunday party pool!
Small issues with the single bed - under mattress, broken rails, and a stuck balcony door
3.8
The location is shaded and really pleasant with all the trees, the refurbished building is nice, the children staff were really nice
The grumpy old lady from the reception knew only "no" and "cannot", we were given the card to the room with no direction and no help to open the barrier or any ways to easily take your baggage to the room, luckily we found out that there was an additional parking for the deluxe building...so she has no reason to be into the reception. The food was ok, for ultra all inclusive there were no import drinks so I don't know what the "ultra" stands for. The aquapark is nice, free access with the accomodation. Clean everyhere

The location is great. Surrounded by vegetation, close to the beach and aqua park. Very quiet, relaxing and cool due to lots of trees.
The staff didn’t talk english. 75% of them were rude to customers in general.

Mister "executive chef" , ignorant , 50 portion of salmon for at least 300 persons, cheese platter just for photos, 250 g of Blue cheese, croissant in the morning 50 etc!!

The staff was very friendly, the food was very good and the pool was great! The hotel is close to the beach, approx. 10 minutes walk and it has a restaurant right next to the beach.
The room is too small if you travel with children. In our case, with 2 children, the room was just too small. An extra space for a family room would have been perfect.

Bar staff was nice and friendly
The bathroom was dirty and mouldy nothing like the pictures, I got Ill I’m sure it was where you can help yourself at breakfast, lunch and dinner so a lot of people touching the serving spoons

Nice balcony. Bathroom ok. Waterpark good, food good (but not excellent).
The room (for the price of £124/night) was nothing special, we had expected something special.
Lot of dust under the beds.
No wifi available upstairs.
Duvets needed to be inserted by guests (a custom in Bulgaria?) .
Staff seemed rather disinterested.
We didn't realise that in September, everything closes early - this information would have been very valuable.

Food was very good facilities well kept

It is a good locațiune for family, and children can stay safely.
Some of The staf not very friendly.

You still get the free entrance into the water park
It is not as good as it used to be, the 2 years of COVID restrictions were not used to repair or redecorate anything.

Cleaning lady on 6th floor was very freindly.
Staff were rude to my daughter and myself on more than one occasion and without reason. One time a lady started being rude to my 10 year old daughter because the door she walked through did not close behind her and she did not notice.
Restaurant on the beach were unfriendly and you needed to stand in line for 15 mins to get pizza and even being all inclusive they asked me to pay for wine.
Restaurant at hotel were overcrowded and you needed to fight for tables and wait for food all the time.
Tables at the bar in lobby were very dirty
Hotel need some handymen to visit. The toilet smelled, aircon didnt work all the time and lightbulbs missing.
My daughter got food poisoning the last day. Nice to travel home with sick girl.... :(

Good position nearby the small forest, so the air at the end of sunny July was breathable. Quiet place ( depending though on the position of the room). Air conditioning in the room was a plus.
Nice sandy beach.
Albena actually is quite outstanding place: a lot of green spots ( even small forests), large beaches, spectacular views, so clean and fresh!
Outdated room, furniture, pool, restaurant... everything. Smelly common toilets. No AC in the restaurant for sunny days, especially at lunch.
Old and dirty pool chairs.
We tried for the second time all inclusive system but the average quality of food and beverages wasn’t motivated us. Of course, the customers are part of the system as well, but it seems we are not fans of it.
For an all inclusive holiday, the parking shouldn’t be paid...10 leva per day should be easily included in the room/ package rate...

I liked the vegetation and that was good taken care. The room was big and quiet.
I didnt liked the lack of signs to show you where is your hotel because there are more buildings and it depends on what comfort you choose.
3.8
The location on the hill, the quiet room, the outdoor sport or playground options. Good for families
Cleanliness not so great, some of the meal items like barbecue depleted in the first 30 mins of the lunch/dinner time and they weren’t refilled

+ Indoor pool
+ Staff ok generally speaking but not on a 4* hotel level. Bartenders from lobby deserve a raise for great attitude.
+ decent meals, you can find something to eat
+ clean
- indoor pool schedule shorter according to the supervisor's mood, and that was one of the main criteria for choosing the accomodation initially
- little diversity in meals
- for a hotel of 4* having only 15 parking spots is cheap
- went back after 10 years for nostalgia, I'll never do that again, the place generally looks worst then last time

The floor in the rooms is with tiles, not carpet, great for people with allergies. The food was good. The aquapark is nearby and can be visited every day for a while with free access. The great beach is key for me.
The property was very nice 4 years ago when we visited for the first time, unfortunatelly since then it is not maintained and cleaned thoroughly, only visible surfaces are cleaned ( sometimes).
The bathroom was moldy and not cleaned properly after the previous guests, the curtains were stained. The glass door leading to the balcony was stained. The glasses in the room were stained and had food residue on them as well although they were packed in "hygienic" plastic bags. There was a lot of dust under the beds. I had to clean the cupboards before using them, because I found crumbs and hairs there. My assumption - the cleaning team is understaffed.
The restaurant team is understaffed as well, there were times when there were no clean forks and knives available. There were absolutely no Covid measures in the hotel, which felt terrible especially in the crowded restaurant. There were signs reminding people to wear masks, but no one is enforcing the rule. In the restaurant even part of the staff and most of the guests were not wearing masks. No one was using the plastic gloves, which we found in a box next to one of the entrances.
Just as best practices comparisson I will include in my review the fact that we have visited other hotels with self service restaurants during the pandemic and the staff there controls if you are wearing your mask properly and insists that you take a pair of gloves before touching the plates and the food.
The saddest of all is that the hotel management will read my review as well ( there are similar comments since June this year) and will do nothing to improve.

The food and drinks are medium quality but tasty, and there are a lot of options to try, and some change every day. I tried new food from their culture that i really liked. The coffee is good too.
The beds are very comfy, and the water pressure is good even at the 5th floor. The chambermaid can clean the floor and change the towels every morning if you want.
The free shuttle bus to and from the beach is very useful even though it's a 10 minute walk. They also have a beach restaurant with very few food options, but good if you want to spend all day at the beach.
The room was dirty, with hair on the bathroom floor and dust on the table and on the floor. I asked for a different room, and got "corporate" answers, so i had to raise my tone and insist, to finally get an OK room. They should clean the AC though.
The outdoors part of the resort looks old and not taken care of, but i hope it's because of the pandemic.
The price is too high for a 4-star hotel. I understand the times have been hard, but they should ask a lower price for the services they are offering.

Facilities and aquapark.
The food quality was good.
The waiting times at the restaurant.
The room was not clean.
3.8
The aqua park was great. The foos in the restaurant near the hotel was great as well.
No wifi in the room. The beach restaurant had poor food quality and small selection.
3.8
location.
small rooms and arrogant staff, no respect for COVID measures.

access to multiple recreational areas (swimming pools; aquapark; beach).
the bathroom was dirty; the garbage was collected in days; a heavy smell remained in the hotel.
One could not breathe at the restaurant's toilet because of the unbearable smell
