Great location, clean, comfortable bed, balcony. It is within walking distance to Darling Harbour and lots of restaurants, theatres and shopping.
The parking is overpriced and we weren’t allowed to leave our car for longer after check out.

If you need a great location this is where you want to be! 1 street away from the capital theatre . The rooms are large great for groups.
The bathrooms have mould spots everywhere it wasn’t the cleanest the hallways smelt funny. And the stuff were rude, it rooms us 4 calls and our friend running onto reception for them just to let us in the car park. The lady at the front desk wasn’t helpful with any request and they would only provide 1 key per room however we had 2 x 2 people rooms and 1 x 3 person room which needed 2 keys

Rooms were very clean. Bathroom was very big and user friendly.
We had ordered a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with single beds in one bedroom. That didn't happen! A sofa bed was made up in the lounge area which was very inconvenient and made it difficult to move around. Obviously couldn't be used to sit on to relax or watch TV.The very large bed could easily have been split into 2 singles.

The pool was a nice surprise as I didn't notice this amenity when I booked. Great location within easy walk of train station.
Poor tv reception and remote control needed new batteries. Not many channels set up on the tv. Watching TV is not usually a key pastime but I had to stay inside the room for most of the evening and wanted to watch something.

Not much really.
It’s quite musty, carpet is old & doesn’t seem clean . While it is technically clean you just know it’s rough around the edges. The rooms need a serious decor update. Fridge has dents in it. Smell coming from drains in the bathroom. No comfort.

Location was central- easy to walk to a few locations in the city. Room was very spacious.
Rooms are quite tired- not overly clean and overall a bit shabby. None of the windows opened except for the large balcony door (quite far away from the bedroom), so it was hard to get fresh air into the room (which was much needed- room smelt a bit musty). Very expensive for what the room/hotel offered- will not be staying again nor recommending this to friends.

We were put in a room with a shower that did not work. We were then told that someone would come and fix it the next day (we were only staying for one night) and it wasn’t until I said I wanted a refund so that we could leave and stay somewhere with a working shower, that they found us another room.
This process took a couple of hours because the front desk is unable to be contacted and does not answer their phone.
We had to go down to the desk so get any sort of help. We got stuck in a lift for about 8 minutes and no one was answering the emergency bell for the first 5 minutes we were in there.
We asked for extra towels at least 3 times during our stay because we had to take room towels to the pool, and we never received extra towels and had to reuse damp chlorine water towels after showers.
During checkout, there was no one at the desk, the phone number left for contact if the desk was unattended was never answered and we ended up having to leave our key card and go so we didn’t miss our train, after waiting around for 20 minutes.
I realised as soon as we hopped on the train that I had left my sunglasses in our room, have tried calling over and over and over again to contact someone to have them retrieved as they have sentimental value to me. It wasn’t until later that night that the phone was finally picked up, the receptionist I spoke to said housekeeping were gone and that she would speak to them the next day and call me back.
I’ve never received a call back, and have called numerous times, the phones are never answered.
I’m completely appalled by the lack of service, the impossibility of speaking to someone from the hotel to clear up any issues, no less just to check out.
Showers have mould in the grout and around the edges of tiles and there is a very unpleasant smell in the lobby, as well as on the 11th floor that we were staying on.

The location is great, easy to get to and around in Sydney, convenient location if you want to use public transport, go shopping or staying in the city overnight.
Some staff members are rude and difficult to understand, the reception area was always unattended, there is no way to communicate with reception from the room.
The room was outdated and the ceilings very dusty, there was not body scrub towel left in the bathroom.

Advertised as a 1 bedroom- it was really a glorified studio apartment. The furniture was mismatched & extraneous cabinet just shoved behind the couch limiting useable space in the room

I liked my studio apartment with balcony where I could see the trees. Good location.
My tv was not working. A staff member came to check and it started. The tv then went off again, I contacted reception and they promptly brought me a new TV. A very satisfied customer.
I liked the pool on the 3rd floor. Some of the pool area under cover the balance open to the sky. A good asset .
The couch was comfortable but quite stained. Could be improved.

I booked two single bed, but when I called APX to confirm , they tell me that my request is not available, ask me to contact book.com, I tried but with out success.
But when my friend and I arrived hotel, we been put in a nice apartment, there was a sofa bed in the lounge, it’s a surprise .

TV hard to use as the remote control was a universal remote control making it difficult to use. On informing the male receptionist of this, he said he would be up but after 15 min's, I went back down to reception to find him viewing his mobile phone. I fixed part of the issue myself.
