The gym was excellent, it had every piece of equipment you could think of. Room was clean and had a kettle with coffee and tea.
There was no body moisturiser and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled or the hand soap.

great location and room facilities
The cleanliness. The bed had stains which wasn't cleaned
3.5 / 5.0
The room was lovely, really spacious with a big bed and good sized bathroom. It was a bit of a treck from the reception but it added to my steps count! I ate in the bar, a slightly intimidating experience for a solo female traveller as it's very sports oriented and the clientele mostly male, BUT I was made to feel welcome by staff and the sweet potato fries were to die for.

Breakfast was poor - empty dishes resulting in long queues - surely not that difficult for someone to keep an eye on this ?
Children, lots of them, running about in the dining area, dangerous with people carrying hot drinks.
Dirty plastic cup left on our room from previous occupant/s.

Nice bed, nice tv lots of channels, clean, staff helpful
Needs air conditioning in the rooms. Little fans dont cut it

Did not eat breakfast.
The location is good for me.
The bathroom could have been cleaner

The accessible room, situated near the lift to avoid too much walking, was very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
The number of apologies we received shows that there is room for improvement. I had pre booked breakfast and dinner for 4 people. I mentioned this at reception when I arrived and was informed that we would find vouchers in the room. There was only one voucher for 2 people. When I called down to reception to request another voucher, I was challenged and asked to take the confirmation email to reception.
Even though the ‘restaurant’ was designated as a Pub and Grill I hadn’t imagined that it would be so noisy. It was full of people watching the two large TV screens. Even though we had a table as far as possible from the bar, we were unable to have a conversation due to the noisy environment.
The food was very good and good value for money. Drinks were expensive. We had to order and pay at the bar. Due to the voucher system we had to order starters, main meals and deserts together. Even though it was early evening we were told, after paying extra for sweet potato chips that they were unavailable.

The spa/ leisure was really nice. Room was comfortable and cosy.
Room service was 20 mins late and came cold.
There was arguing at 3am which woke both myself and my partner up, which was not ideal as we had a family event to go to the next morning.

Noise, dirt, poor lighting not fixed

Staff were super, all really helpful great and friendly. Hotel is very near to our family so ideally placed. Parking good and free. Changed our room immediately when we realised the toilet flush was broken.
Room had broken flush (as could be seen as dangling down) not in usual position. Next room okay both were accessibility rooms which I don’t like much as not needed for us just yet, but I get that these rooms are required. Breakfast not great I had beans, potato slices and scrambled eggs. No mushrooms, hash browns or vegetarian sausages. Layout of breakfast difficult toaster at the end of hot food which caused a bottleneck and resulted in lots of people milling around in that area.

Very clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was lovely.
The room was dirty and there was food crumbs left my the radiator. They also had what appeared to be a wedding or other party which was extremely loud until 1am could hear clear as day from our room.
0.5 / 5.0
The room clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly from previous visitors… there were cup stains all over the side tables
The shower wasn’t clean, full of black mould… this includes both shower heads as well as all the edges
Some clothing left at facility and haven’t been Contacted to have returned

location
room not very clean. rubbish under the bed from previous guests, no air con, no mirror on dressing table. No room service available until 6pm and finishes at 10pm so nothing at all available outside these hours.

It was so close to everything
I will definitely book again and will bring my kids to stay also.

Evening meals were good
Breakfast was very poor, cold, under cooked, orange water labelled as orange juice. On Sunday, guests had to chase staff for more breakfast items, even coming out of the kitchen it was lukewarm. . Monday morning no better, all hot food items were cold,
Bedroom not even serviced on Sunday, all the housekeeping staff did, was to turn the sign around on the bedroom door. Very poor, Don't think I'll be back.

The staff were very good at customer service and thing was too much trouble to try and fix. We had Club rooms upgrade as we had an issue with dates etc. We were even offered a coffee after a poor nights sleep so the staff were excellent.
The noise from the family room above me! Why out Club rooms under family rooms?? The first night I had a cheerleader practicing until late and then up again at 6.30! I was offered a room change but as they had checked out I stayed out. The new family were just as noisy, slamming doors early (6.30am) on a Sunday, they were loud talkers too so I got very little sleep either night. not the hotels fault I know and the staff did all they could, but swap the rooms around so family's are below as they are naturally noisier!

Room was clean and accessible.
Gym and swimming area were very clean.
Breakfast was good apart from fruit juice (30% juice 70% water).
Coffee machine was not maintained on the first morning and as a result the quality of coffee was really undrinkable.
Sadly there was a big, noisy group of children from a dancing school staying that were not being directed by caters or parents during the night and the noise continued until after 1.30am.
Staff were unable to do anything about it.

on the website the post code was wrong and we ended up in Nuneaton very confusing after a long journey from Wales We had to ring the Village in Coventry for correct post code however Michael was very helpful and apologised and gave us a complementary breakfast

Everything but read on in 'What didn't you like'
Having to pay £10 for car parking for 2 days when it was clearly stated we are hotel guests.
We didn't request an ACCESSIBLE room!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the evening dinner was very nice, the bar very comfortable and pleasant
I didn't like the self check in, like the choice.
The lighting in the room the was inadequate, very dark, made it very difficult to get ready for the awards evening.
The rooms could do with refresh.
Breakfast wasn't very nice
Car park was very tight.

Rooms are pretty basic
Somewhere to go that wasnt designed for footballers
Less of a commute to the bedrooms
