Great Location, very Central in Glasgow about a 2 minute walk from part of the main high street. Room was a decent size too.
I asked about parking prior to my stay and was directed to the Q-park a short walk from the hotel. Parking had to be pre-paid however there is absolutely nothing on the hotels/q-parks website to say this was in a LEZ. This meant I had pre-paid for parking (which I couldn't get back) and had to park a 40 minute walk away (and of course pay for additional parking) so check your reg if you're driving.

Nice room and staff.
Room had paper thin walls - could hear noisy neighbours.

A hotel in the heart of the city. This can be a double-edged sword, but for my partner and I, it was perfect. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sunny, the receptionist - who was ever so friendly. After making small talk and him discovering it was my birthday, then I was pleasantly surprised that he upgraded my room (or at least I'm certain he did).
The room was very spacious and came with a very clean en suite facility. Other normal hotel items included usb charging points, a mini fridge to store all my drinks and desserts I had accrued on my holiday, a large TV, iron and iron board, etc.
We had all the restaurants and bars at close proximity, so after exploring the entirety of Glasgow, then resting at the Apex was just needed.
I would advise to bring some ear plugs just in case. Our room was next to an alleyway, which echoed the voices of a nearby karaoke bar

Bed was comfortable
Multiple stains on the floor throughout, the shower door wouldn’t close properly so the water leaked out onto the bathroom floor

Great hotel with nice and spacious rooms.
Great location.
The breakfast wasn't very good.

The room was clean and well appointed, the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The most disappointing thing was plugging both my iPhone and Apple Watch into the USB ports to charge and finding by morning they hadn’t so those sockets weren’t working which meant my phone was low on battery all day. Also I thought the charge for breakfast was too high.

Staff were lovely that we met on reception. Hotel was very clean.
The room for a family of four was very cramped. If I knew it was that small we wouldn’t of stayed. Didn’t make for a comfortable stay as you couldn’t really freely move around the room.
4.5
Shower was brilliant
No TV power, Only 1 toilet roll, checkout time too early for my liking
4.5
The location and reception staff
The room was small with no view with no amenities at all in the hotel

No food. I don't want to arrive at a hotel at 21.30 after a days travel to be told there are loads of restaurants I can find.
4.5
Good location and generous size room
Not much of a view despite our booking saying city view

Clean, well appointed and great location. The staff member that handled our check in / check out was excellent, carefully explaining the parking payment process which had recently changed.
Nothing to dislike about this property. A great experience.

Central location
Helpful reception staff
Free well stocked minibar
Bizarre room design as we were upgraded to a duplex suite. I.e two small boxes separated by a narrow steep staircase of 14 steps.
With hindsight, we should have insisted on having the room type we had originally booked. .

Quick and easy check-in and check-out with helpful and personable staff. The room was clean, quiet, and came with all the usual items I'd expect a 4-star hotel room to offer. Highlights for me included the mini-fridge (who doesn't loathe UHT milk in their morning tea/coffee?) and an excellent walk-in shower.
Great location: About a 10 minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, and the Buchanan Street Underground is less than five minutes away. It's an area with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and retail outlets to suit all tastes and budgets, and there are plenty of entertainment/cultural venues locally too.
It does have an in-house restaurant/bar, but I felt it lacked ambience and offered a very limited evening menu. I chose to eat at a local restaurant suggested by a member of staff and thoroughly enjoyed the evening - it was a great recommendation.

Staff were really helpful.
Dirty towels from the previous guest were in the bathroom. There was only one toilet roll that was half used. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the sink. Also I booked and thought it included breakfast but was told I needed to pay an extra £15 for breakfast. I don’t think the the breakfast was worth £15.

What a beautiful hotel situated in the city centre. Staff were dealing with the aftermath of a power cut on our arrival. Very warm welcome received at Reception and the check-in process was handled promptly. The bedroom was so well appointed and comfortable - luxurious is the best adjective to use to describe it. Maintenance resolved the television/light issues in our room (caused by the power cut) so efficiently as well - the guy was so friendly and helpful. Overall, a wonderful experience - I can't wait for my next visit to Apex Glasgow city centre.
Absolutely nothing!
