Leider dieses Mal enttäuscht 😞

Bin öfters im hilton Colombo und mit den Mitarbeitern immer sehr zufrieden top Restaurant manager der auch noch wusste welchen Wein ich gerne trinke und auch diesen bereit für mich hatte .

Leider ein sehr altes Zimmer bekommen auch auf Nachfrage zum wechseln wurde nicht geholfen was sehr schade war . Bei dem Preis

Very nice stay

The room was good and comfortable, but the bathroom was very small, 2 people can’t fit inside, the breakfast was amazing one of the best, choice and decoration, the swimming pool was excellent

Great start to our holiday in Sri Lanka after 14 years 🇱🇰

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Colombo. The cleanliness of the hotel is perfect and the hotel staff are very friendly and kind. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children and requested for connecting rooms which we got which made the stay more enjoyable for us. Our room had an amazing west side view of the old Parliament building and Lotus Tower. The pool, a little walk away, but worth it. Great facilities here. My son enjoyed using the gym, saying it's probably the best hotel gym he's used. The food was great quality. The Sri Lankan food is OK but not as chilli hot as the authentic dishes which helps if you're not used to it. My Sri Lankan auntie didn't approve but if you're not used to authentic spice levels it is a fair level of Sri Lankan cuisine which suited us. There are many different world cuisines available but we only wanted Sri Lankan! We used this hotel as a base to see nearby families and it worked out perfectly. I can get quite moody when I can't cope with the heat so it was nice to be refreshed and in a good mood before visiting family! ☺️ We mainly used the PickMe app to get around in Colombo. If you want to be comfortable and secure and ease yourself into holidaying in Sri Lanka this is a good place to start before trying more authentic Sri Lankan hotels.

Only reason I didn't give 10 stars is because it would be nice to see more authentic food or events in the hotel.

Hôtel de standing - un sans faute

Emplacement central. Chambre moderne et confortable avec vue mer. Différents restaurants, un bar, très bon buffet pour le petit déjeuner. Personnel formé et efficace. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

La piscine est un peu éloignée de l'hôtel, chambre peut être un peu bruyante en journée à cause du trafic qui ralentit le soir venu.

Hilton experience

Very clean, good entertainment and restaurants, food at breakfast outstanding along with service. Room lovely, extremely comfy bed.

Some rude, judgemental staff, wouldn't be fit to work anywhere, some of the staff like in the breakfast restaurant and two security guards, extremely pleasant, rest of the staff not up to standard. People behind desk didn't care about looking after the guests. Wouldn't let me workout in my crocs, even though there is a disclaimer saying no injury is there fault. Pool area and gym you have to cross the road to get to, unacceptable.

Family enjoyed staying here, it was relaxing.

Breakfast was good. Visiting the Executive lounge was great. Staff (Nadeeja, Gayan, Sachith, Shaheed, Rimshad, Aloka, Wasath & Adeesha) in the lounge were very friendly and helpful.

Exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn't strong enough to prevent steam covering the mirror. Room carpet was old & tired, needs replacing. In the meantime maybe room fresheners might help.

Hilton lever inte upp till sitt namn. Det finns många mycket bättre hotell i Colombo.

Polen var OK. Emperors WOK (kinesrestaurangen) mycket bra.

Otrivsam och stökig lobby. Stökig main restaurang. Små och omoderna badrum: Samma stuk som 2001, dusch i badkaret och HALKRISK.

Schöner kurzer Aufenthalt im Hilton

Wir waren nur kurz im Hilton auf der Durchreise. Schön eingerichtet, Zimmer groß und gut eingerichtet. Personal sehr freundlich, überall sehr sauber. Essen sehr lecker, Frühstück ein Traum

They prepared a wrong room for us. I think the reason was we made a modification to room type which was done few days ago but it was not reflected on their side or they have ignored it. Took more than one hour to prepare the room and check it.

Shoddy and out dated rooms

It was reasonably well situated but still a long tuc tuc ride from restaurants and 45 mins from the airport

The room we had was a business suite... we were 'upgraded' to this. There were No sockets in the room that were accessible for charging a phone, the bathroom had Zero complimentaries and there is no walk in shower, the room is in serious need of refurbishment as everything looks like it was placed in it in the late 70's. Over all the stay was a disappointment and we are glad we stayed only one night.
