Cleanliness, comfort, food, drink and location.
Cell phone reception.

Great staff, good service, delicious food in the restaurant. Room was nice, super comfy bed. Perfect location
The bathroom floor was quite sticky when we arrived. Our room was at the back and we had to keep the windows closed to not hear too much noise, so it got very hot by the morning. Ventilation not great.

The setting is wonderful - just off the main road for easy access, but in a lovely rural area, with fields and a great outside seating area. The decor is great and the room was well-appointed and attractive. The bathroom was great, as were the staff and the food!
Nothing at all.

The room was lovely, and the shower was excellent after a long day out walking.
Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice.
My partner thought the bed was too soft,
The staff were quite noisy outside our bedroom window.

Food was amazing both dinner and breakfast. Initially for dinner at 7:30 on first night the atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect. Cleaner was the best for customer service, very helpful and accomodating.
Once the restaurant was down to 2 tables occupied at 8:30, the lights went brighter, background music was turned off and the cooks seemed to have a TV on really loud in the kitchen, empty plates were ignored on our table at least 3 times and we had to ask for them to be cleared and to order desert. Desert took a further 40 mins to come and it genuinely felt like we were being coerced into leaving the restaurant so the staff could finish and go home. We ended up having desert in the bar as it was so uncomfortable sitting in the restaurant.

Breakfast ok. Food in restaurant quite good. Rooms quite well appointed but wonky floors.
“Keira” (?) the barmaid loves the sound of her own vice and wants everyone else in the bar/restaurant to hear her too. We spent about £200 in the bar & restaurant on the second night as we (and everyone else) heard her say the night before she was only working until 3 the following day. We were put off staying to eat and spend the evening there the first night because of her unacceptable volume when talking and cackling to another guest at the bar for over an hour. She’s needs a quiet word in her ear to either shut up or lower the decibels so that she doesn’t disturb everyone else in the (very echoey) bar/restaurant. Second night barmaid was much quieter to the point where she could barely manage a grunt to customers and simply gave the impression she didn’t want to be there.
The amount of dogs in the bar restaurant in the evening lends itself more to a campfire environment than a nice restaurant to eat a meal with your partner. Several dogs barking right through the second evening in every part of the restaurant. Will choose somewhere a little more quaint next time. Need to make up their minds whether they’ve got a bar/grill restaurant, a nightclub with light show or an eat-in kennels.
No hand soap provided in the room but did have small complimentary shampoo and conditioner.

Nothing.

The breakfast was exceptional and the evening meal equally as good .
The time you had to wait for your breakfast was a little to long

The location was perfect for hill walking and plane enthusiasts like my other half as it is at the start of the Mac loop where you can climb up on the hillside and if lucky see the RAF practicing flights through the valleys. The staff were friendly and huge breakfast and evening meal.
Quite happy with everything

Loved our stay. Staff were friendly and location is great. Plenty of outdoor seating for when its hot. Food was unreal, evening meal and breakfast too. We had a great nights sleep too, bed was so comfy!
We left our window open as it was warm and the traffic was a bit noisy. Can't be helped and didn't disrupt us at all
