The hotel is beautifully located near Cradle Mountain visitor's centre and other local attractions. The gallery and gift shop opposite are excellent. Great buffet breakfast and very good onsite restaurant. Cosy sitting room with a log fire.
The building fabric itself felt flimsy, perhaps due to National Park building restrictions. There were also a few repairs required in the bathroom, which could also use some extra shelving or hooks.

Great location and clean and warm
Had some type of machine near our room and a bit noisy

Lovely hotel, very comfortable bed, and excellent buffet dinner and breakfast.
Although the rooms are nice and the bed very comfortable , they are not exceptional, so we felt the room price was very high for what you get, but it's more about the great location .

Beautiful location - loved the wildlife and the staff were really warm, welcoming and friendly. We liked the lounge with the open fire. Plenty of space for parking.
It’s tired. We stayed here 11 years ago and not much has changed. The mattress was lumpy, as were the pillows. Everything is in need of an upgrade. It’s expensive for a pretty average quality.

Very big room. Location good.
Room very dated. Bathroom in particular needs upgrading and very small. No room to swing a cat and no matter how much bleach you use on it it is still old. Buffet dinner was poor, it brought me back to the '70's, buffet breakfast marginally better.

Lovely hotel, a welcome warm & comfortable refuge in what can be a very cold location. Staff are exceptional. Lunch delicious.
The breakfast was a let down. We were not late for the buffet, so surprised only a few items were available, the rest being empty. Eventually some eggs appeared, but they were stone cold! We had to be content with beans and toast. There were also stale pastries available for the brave.

Lovely spacious room, lovely fireplaces to sit with a coffee or glass of wine. Staff friendly and helpful.
Bathroom needs upgrading - shower head could be better.

Nicely refurbished hotel, gives winter lodge vibes, even in summer. Comfortable and spacious room, friendly staff.
Walls not cleaned, visible dirty marks across the walls near the bed. Some advertised features- gallery/gift shop and spa not open due to staff shortages. Tried both the restaurant menus available and both were very average. The new “signature” menu with a fixed price tor 2-3 courses was bitterly disappointing, especially for the price. Noisey corridors late into the night and no visible “curfew” for using the common area which our room was right next to so it was quite loud well past 11pm.

Big comfy beds, nice outlook to wilderness, large TV, great staff, good common area, vegan options for dinner and breakfast included.
Noisy rooms due to lack of sound proofing, bathrooms could be updated. Gallery was shut due to lack of staffing.

rooms were great and comfortable and clean
the set up for dining was abit silly. we wish to eat at the ‘fine dining’ option but kids wouldn’t eat that. so we sat in bistro seating but couldn’t order off the other menu. all comes out of same kitchen, just seemed messed up. the food wasn’t great. steak was bad. pasta and pork were ok. Breakfast was included but everything was cold. needed to turn hot plates up.

A wonderful mountain style lodge very close to the NP entrance, wildlife in the grounds around the hotel. The town room was spacious and the hotel were kind enough to put an extra bed up too so our adult children didn't have to share a bed! Each room has a small balcony to look out of the bush, and over friendly crows who like to visit too :) We stayed on New Year's eve, and there was a good atmosphere in the hotel. Breakfast was a good buffet.
The dinner options were limited as was NY Eve - we had been told the bistro menu would be running and bar menu, as we didn't want to pay the high price for the buffet as we were out on night tour. It turns out only the bar menu was offered, and it was more limited than what was shown on website, A little disappointed, but we managed to find some food to share which was very tasty before we headed out.

Lovely split level room with seperate bedroom and lounge area. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Expensive but then it was peak season and only two other places to stay in the park so accommodation is at a premium.

as we had not been to the are before we where unaware that the dining options would be minimal and arriving late in the afternoon to want to book dinner to then be advised that the restaurant was fully booked was very disappointing.

Fabulous place to stay at Cradle Mountain. Exceeded my expectations. Staff were very helpful and probably one of the best hot chocolates we have had. Breakfast and dinner were great.
Dinner is expensive but given you're miles from anywhere completely understandable.
