We stayed 3 nights. Buffet Breakfast was included and catered for all tastes and food types.
The hotel had numerous of the Cradle Mountain walks starting near their reception as well as the shuttle bus to Ronnie Creek and Dove Lake being just over the road.
They had the Highlander restaurant or the bar and bistro to eat at. The food was really great.
The service was outstanding.
Highly recommend staying at Peppers Cradle Mountain

Room was very comfortable , nice and warm on arrival. Downside no WiFi in room.
We ate in the Tavern Bar which we felt better value than restaurant. Breakfast choice was good but cooked food should be better quality.
Very helpful staff who gave advice on what we should do in the time we had. Walk around Dove Lake - brilliant.

Was shocked there was no tv in the cabin. Went and got pizza for dinner and ended up very sick. Assuming food poisoning. Was the worst night of my life and our romantic get away turned into a nightmare . The cabin was cosy but as i vomitted all night and my partner had to listen it wasnt a pleasant stay. Could of stayed down the road 17klm and had a tv , kitchenette , lounge etc. For over half the price.

Beautiful setting and bushwalking from property

All was great

Peppers is in the best location out of all the accomodations in the area, right next to the national park and a few walking tracks around the property. Unfortunately due to the weather the National park was closed during my stay. I think this could have been communicated a bit better rather just going back to reception to ask every couple of hours. Otherwise the cabin was very cozy and I enjoyed being able to switch off and relax.

We had the most amazing Anniversary stay at Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge. The rooms were clean and spacious. The King Billy was exceptionally wonderful. Food at the Bistro was delightful (try the Cradle Burger and the Rigatoni Ragu). We were also lucky enough to get snow and staff were kind enough to transfer us to and from Devils @ Cradle. I highly recommend this resort and can’t wait for our next stay!

Great location, cabin was clean, tidy and private. Great facilities would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very expensive for what we experienced. We were not sure if we could drink the water in the room. Beautiful location but the price we felt was beyond justifiable

Good value for the money

Dinner and service for dinner was a total let down.
Room was nice and location was beautiful
Breakfast was very good.

Breakfast was a little too structured. Having to book a time however understandable.

Absolutely perfect weekend at Peppers. We stayed in the Pencil Pine unit which overlooked the main reception area and the lake. It snowed over the weekend making even better. The shuttles to Dove Lake were closed due to the snow but it was still great. Heaps of great walking tracks around the resort. Dinner in the tavern was amazing. Would definately stay there again. Staff were great too. Cannot fault the whole weekend.

Our chicken wings and then the schnitzel was burnt.
Font of house Remi was very good trying to fix this and she picked up that I had not gotten the sauce I ordered with my steak.
The property was very clean and staff nice. Beautiful area.

Wonderful stay at Peppers. We stayed two nights at last minute and we were checked in quickly by staff and a spare bed made up for our child each time. I am writing this review as I read some other reviews that were less than favourable and nearly didn’t stay for this reason. Do not let this deter you, however, have reasonable expectations. This is a remote lodge in the wilderness, this is what you’re paying for. It is not a five star retreat. The location could not be better, the staff are attentive and helpful and the cabins were toasty warm. We did one cabin with the gas log fire and another with the combustion fire. Both were great. We ate dinner twice at the lodge, the service was fast and efficient and meals decent. Breakfast was basic, we loved watching the snow fall from the window. We had a brilliant time at Peppers and look forward to coming back one day - it all made for a very magical Cradle Mountain experience. Thank you! Ps - if booking last minute, far better rates online.

Ambiance of the environment was fabulous.
The Highland Restaurant was expensive - $249 for a two course meal for a couple. Food was cold and the service was rushed. Not enough explanation given about the menu at the beginning of the evening. Buffet breakfast was brilliant- food and service. The Spa was understaffed, lacked the expected finesse and also expensive. Rooms were warm, cosy and well maintained. Service roads badly need resurfacing. No WiFi in the cabins or lodge.

Absolutely beautiful location and surroundings. I wish i had known that certain things weren't available during the time there before arriving—i would not have changed my plans but it would have given me time to plan my days or find other arrangements. The staff at reception were somewhat lacking in their knowledge and I didn't feel like they knew much about the area. Perhaps before staying in winter check to see if their hot water, laundry and various other things are functioning and accessible.

Awesome location with plenty of local hikes around the facility. Close to the bus to get into Cradle Mountain for longer hikes and access to Dove Lake.
The bistro and bar area was very relaxing with plenty of options.
The breakfast buffet hot food options could be improved but the lunch and dinner was excellent.
The food was very good and the sticky date dessert is to die for.
Plenty of wildlife in the area just going about their business.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful which make the stay even better.
Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful rain forest trails and spectacular scenery. Great chalet with combustion wood heater with heaps of wood and kindling. Great spa and shower. Great king bed. Awesome food and drinks at the lodge. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

Perfect setting in the Tasmania wilderness. There are hiking tracks within walking distance from the lodge. The bus to dove lake is also right outside the lodge. This was the perfect base to explore cradle mountain.

We had a fabulous stay, lots of stunning walks from the property, close to the devils conservation centre for the night feeding session, easily accessible by car, stunning lodge

What an amazing location. Lovely clean, comfortable room. Nice view from the balcony of the bush and a dam with a platypus in it! You can also see wombats and wallabies walking past. Loved the fake gas fire in the room which kept it very warm. You do have to walk outside from your cabin to breakfast. The buffet breakfast could have more variety. The Highland restaurant was great though. Having no wifi, mobile reception or tv in the rooms gave us a complete break away.

It was lovely for a short peaceful getaway. Amazing location and you can do as much or as little as you like. The no tv and wifi was a nice touch

Had a fantastic stay at the Cradle Mountain Lodge. The service was fantastic, the breakfast was really good and the cabin was super comfortable, warm, cosy and clean. Really appreciated all the little extras too.

The facilities are showing their age. Rooms flooring very squeaky, roads need repairing, spa and hot tub not available been out of action since December last year

Lovely place to stay
4.0
The rooms neither have the mobile network nor hotel wifi signals.
Serious light pollution to the dark night atmosphere incurred by the lights inside the vacanted rooms without window curtains.
No staff will willing to offer helping hands to you after their reception hours.

Lots of wildlife and great place to relax

the location was great. some easy walks around the property wonderful. the view from the room was great able to see wildlife. close to cradle mountain trails. the tavern bar and bistro staff and food were great. the only disappointment was the service in the highland restaurant for dinner.
10.0
We really enjoyed the wild nature and animals in the hotel area, the path and the cabin in the facilities are well designed and maintained. The foods in the restaurant and bar/cafe were excellent. However we found that the service at the restaurant was so so, it may have been caused by a limited numbers of staff.

The property was well situated in a beautiful area and the staff were friendly and helpful

The property was great but the Tavern was pretty terrible. There were 4 of us. Meals came out at different times, and one meal did not come out at all. We had to ask twice before we got it. Service was terrible, tables were not cleared, yet staff were laughing and mucking around.
The Highlander restaurant was excellent.
