What’s is presented on Booking.com does not respresent reality

There is nothing I liked about this property. The pictures on Booking.com are not representative of the actual property and rooms.

The property in parts is in despair and urgent renovations are required. My room was not at all like the pictures on Booking.com. My room had mould in various places, and dirt which would require a deep clean and furniture needed to be replaced. The mould was in every room of my room, the shower area, the toilet, the main bedroom. All over. I have visited Thailand many times and have also lived here and I have stayed in various Thai style properties and also many 5 stars. This by far was my worst hotel experience. The property, its facilities and my room were not to the standard shown online on Booking.com or to an acceptable standard for a 1star let alone a 3star. Both Booking.com and the manager were very responsive to my complaint. how could you not be! Given that you know you are miss selling a property and accommodation. I checked out after 1 night and I would have checked out immediately had I had somewhere else to stay for that night. Plus I didn’t want to checkout before it was confirmed via booking.com that my money would be refunded.

Modern and comfortable

Great location , right on one of the best beaches on island . Stayed in one of the newer properties. Like the simplicity of the design , modern and comfortable, looking at the sea directly . The staff was always available and helpful . Over all , positive experience. You can eat at the hotel but also multiple places available on the beach , and lonely beach strip with all the shops etc only 6-7 min walk ( you can access via the beach ) If you rent a motorbike , you can easily reach anywhere or get on one of the shared taxi’s which runs right outside of the hotel . Easy !

Would have been nice to have some beach chairs available .

Insgesamt leider absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Das Zimmer war sehr gut, nur fehlten Stühle auf der Terrasse. Es gab eine Bank. Ein Wäscheständer fehlte auch. Eventuell lag das daran, dass man Angst davor hat, dass die Affen Kleidung stehlen, aber man kann nirgendwo feuchte Handtücher oder Badekleidung aufhängen.

Abgesehen vom Zimmer hat mir das Hotel gar nicht gefallen. Es ist herunter gekommen und alles ist sehr lieblos. Das Restaurant ist in schlechtem Zustand, das Frühstück nicht wirklich gut und der Kaffee schmeckt nicht - im Gegensatz zu dem in dem Café vor dem Hotel! Dort gibt es auch leckere Sandwiches und Croissants! Die Pool die Liegen haben die beste Zeit hinter sich und am Strand sind leider keine.

Good but disappointing

Quiet and staff were helpful and friendly. Swimming pool was nice and food was very good and we had dinner there most nights. Breakfast was good too

Part of the resort was looking old. We booked it as the photos on booking.com were wonderful are looked new but in reality photos must of been years ago. We got moved into the other side of the resort where the room were lovely

Superb

Great dog friendly place, delicious food, nice beach, excellent service and very helpful staff. We will visit again for sure.

Monkeys (macaques) can be aggressive, specially male ones. You should be very cautious, do not leave food, personal belongings, and garbage outside. Also keep the doors and windows closed at all time.

Very good

Very good stay. From bed into the ocean in 30 seconds. The room we stayed in needed some work but they are doing full maintenance on all their rooms. There is no hinder of sound. The room is large. Bathroom is reasonably. Extended total till 4 nights as the space was pleasant to stay at. Restaurant food is good. Breakdown above expectations when there's a buffet. All in all a wonderful stay.

Very rundown

Nice quiet spot (except for the main road behind), beach view was lovely, and it was great to have a somewhat "private bay"

Everything was rundown. Pool was missing tiles, sunbeds were so sun damaged and gave splinters, and the outside pillows really could have done with a wash - very dirty. We had no hot water at all.

Beautiful location but poor facilities and services.

The location and view from the room.

Unfortunately where to start. The room looked half built no tiles on the few stairs up the room and the side windows were filthy. The room front side to the beach was all glass windows and slide door which would be awesome if it had a light curtain for privacy but still allowing visibility and the light coming through but It only had heavy duty curtains which darkened the room. so it was either anyone on the beach could potentially see you dressing up for example or pitch black. The mattress was too hard on our bones causing us pain in the back. The WC was small and had a difficult to use folded panel door not closing properly unless you were inside locking it. the same with the shower. the sink was open plan with the room. That was leaving noise, light and drain smell affecting your hours in the room. The balcony had a heavy wooden dinner table and two very heavy dinner chairs. Very uncomfortable to sit and relax enjoying the view and the beach. The hotel didn’t provide any sunbeds. You could only rely on your bath towels to lie on the sand which was a killer -again- for our middle aged backs. In the end I asked for at least two bean bags from the bar and they agreed. The facilities were unfinished it was uncared for and looked like it lacked management. It’s really sad because it is a privileged place on a beautiful beach. But they cannot just rely on that to charge like a 4star hotel.

unsatisfied and not worth the money .

only the location which has beachfront

1. mostly staffs are unhappy to work which u can see on their faces 2. our first room they gave balcony door could not be closed, neighbors and monkeys could just walk into the room. front door could be lock picked with a paperclip. ( I could do it easily) 3. and staff was not happy as we claimed a new room. changed 3 time the room within a week. 4. be careful of monkeys (not mentioned on any their websites) 5. after midnight they close the water. no toilet units 6oclock morning.. 6. if you want to organize I.E taxi, do it yourself otherwise you want get it on time and you need to pay more overall not a 3 star hotel at all!!!

Really nice place on one of the best beaches on the island. The rooms were very large and comfortable but needs refurbishment. Our bungalow was 15 m from the water. Overall a very nice stay to a good price. We also had a wonderful NY Eve party at the resort to an surprisingly low price tag. Strongly recommend this resort.

The rooms need refurbishment but are OK. No beach activities available at the resort.

building work on the hotel was noisy, indoor pool was cold and also had a constant plumbing noise. The bed was very hard and the pillows too high

Overpriced - outdated facilities but amazing beach

Location is great, the beach is beautiful and you can do snorkelling there. It's at the end of lonely beach so really quite. We were there in Nye and were offered a free buffet dinner,.which was nice.

Pics are really old, the place needs maintenance and some deep cleaning. When we arrived there was plastic paper and hair in the sink. You need to ask for your room to be cleaned and explain how to clean it or they would just clean it with a dry towel. Another resort next door seems better value for money.

Dissapointing Christmas stay

The breakfast view would be the only reason I would come back.

lots of building work, felt like we was staying on a construction site, was woken up on Christmas Day to the banging of metal polls.

Exceptional

Everything Perfect location on lonely beach. Bars and restaurants and massage along the beach. Big rooms and great breakfast included.

The wifi wasn't very good in the rooms.

On the beach

The resort is tired and in need of a makeover there appears to be little or no maintenance only running repairs, lovely location but in need of a paint in all area's, the monkeys whilst cute can be a menace. I will stay again but it could be so much nicer
