Fantastisk

Vild lækkert hotel med en fed beliggenhed lidt inde i noget jungle, men stadig lige ved strand og tæt ved en lille by. Gode arrangementer, to pools, fabelagtig morgenmad. Sylvan formår både at være stort at classy på samme tid.

Boende direkt på stranden på lugnt och stillsamt läge, lite omodernt och med uselt Wi-Fi men en behaglig upplevelse.

Läget var så bra! Om man vill ha det lugnt och skönt på ett lite avskilt läge precis vid havet. Utsikten från frukostbordet var magisk! Fin strand och bra personal. När du tidvattnet är lågt kan man promenera på stranden till närmaste by.

Det är lite omodernt och skulle kanske behöva uppdateras något. Om man måste nämna något så var det otroligt obekväma stolar på balkongen.. men en magisk havsutsikt! Frukosten var ok, inget speciellt. Otroligt dåligt Wi-Fi! Knappt användbart, varken på rummet, på stranden eller i restaurangen.

The hotel, view, staff and food outlets were wonderful but for the price the rooms were outdated.

The restaurant and facilities were very good, food was amazing and very tasty, staff were nice, friendly and welcoming. Rooms were very spacious, view was beautiful. Resort itself was very big and had various activities.

BOTH rooms that I had booked had huge problems with the air con. Very noisy and even once maintenance came to ‘fix’ it the noise still continued. My parents ended up having to move rooms as the maintenance man said that this was the quietest he would be able to fix it to however, once moved to the new room it was definitely quieter. The rooms itself were very spacious however seemed empty and a little outdated. The shower did not have any pressure and the hot water was continuously cold and then hot. Told maintenance about this as well and they said it’s the hottest it gets to? Which is not correct.

Nach Beschwerden über späte Lautstärke an die "Strandbar" (die bereits geschlossen war) wurde uns vom Manager ein Upgrade gewährt ... dazu herzlichen Dank !!!

Schöner Aufentahlt mit toller Anlage. Zum entspannen gut geeignet

Strand: Aufgrund der Flut sind die Liegeflächen mit Sandstrand durch eine Treppe und Sandsäcke begrenzt. Sehr schöne Liegen mit Sonnenschirmen und natürlichem Schatten. Toller Pool Frühstücks-Buffet wird Punkt 10 Uhr abgeräumt. wir waren einmal zu spät und haben bei Nachfrage allerdings noch ein gemischtes Frühstück direkt an den Tisch erhalten Die beach-View Zimmer sind zwar etwas veraltet in der Einrichtung. Allerdings riesig mit einem wahnsinnig großen Bett

Les déplacements longs au sein du complexe, attente longue pour les boissons, chambre familiale non convenablement meublée et aménagée, les singes un peu trop présents.

Bel hôtel, mais équipement vieillot, manque de prises dans les chambre et accueil et service à la réception a améliorer.

Il s’agit d’un bel hôtel sur plusieurs emplacement géographique. Certaines chambres sont en bord de mer d’autre en montagne avec vue sur l’océan. Attention à ce détail en réservation, seaview ne veut pas dire bord de mer.

Le personnel était agréable dans l’ensemble et très serviable mais les personnes à la réception en particulier une dame étaient particulièrement désagréables. Lors du checkin ils n’ont pas cherché à savoir qui avait effectué la réservation et ont demandé à mon père de payer en lui présentant la facture, lorsque je leur ai fait remarqué que j’étais l’auteur de la réservation aucune excuse n’a été faite. Par la suite la dame en question évitait de nous saluer et de nous faire nous sentir à l’aise. Nous avons demandé à changé de chambre car la chambre qui nous a été donnée était très éloignée de la mer et difficile d’accès pour des personnes âgées ce qui était étonnant étant donné le prix élevé des chambres. Un échange difficile avec leur manager nous a permis de changer de chambre et d’effectuer le reste du séjour dans des conditions correctes.

Schöne Anlage die wir wieder buchen würden

Das Personal war extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und einfach unkompliziert. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, groß und neu. Wir hatten ein Reserve Wohneinheit in Richtung Pool. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist Top. Der Weg zum Frühstück ist je nachdem wo man wohnt etwas weiter, haben wir mit dem Roller bewältigt, weil sehr steil, man kann aber auch die Cable Bahn nehmen, dafür ist der Ausblick beim Frühstück wirklich toll. Abends kommt man in 5 Minuten mit dem Roller (Roller haben wir mit Hilfe des Hotels gemietet) oder Taxi zum Ort. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit dort und würden wieder dort buchen.

Not 5 stars. Perilous location

The room was spacious and clean

It is a very remote location. The access is at times perilous with very steep roads connecting various parts of the hotel. To emphasise this, there is a funicular lift from beach to restaurant. Breakfasts were in my opinion poor. No bacon or pork. No waitress service,its like a cafeteria not a restaurant 5star hotel. Overall it is a 3 star experience. Some staff were superb eg restaurant manager, room cleaners and sea level pool waiters.

Amazing view and property in nature, good spot to relax and enjoy nature when there is no construction going on.

There were constructions going on the whole day from 9 to 5, we couldn’t relax during the day outside at our pool villa. Staff told us only one more day but it didn’t stop and i assume it won’t be finished before new year. Very annoying because they told be before I booked it that construction will be finished end of November.

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Zeit und würdenndas Hotel wieder wählen.

Die neuen Zimmer sind absolut zu empfehlen. Personal sehr hilfsbereit und äußerst freundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich durch den Steilhang. Der Strand ist klein aber fein und gepflegt. Wer hohe Wellen sucht ist hier allerdings falsch.

Wunderschöne grüne und saubere Anlage

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes, großes Zimmer direkt am Strand. Der Ausblick auf das Meer war atemberaubend. Neben einem großem Badezimmer mit Dusche und Badezimmer, gehörte auch ein gemütliches, großes Bett und eine Couch zur Ausstattung. Zusätzlich gab es eine voll ausgestattete Minibar (gegen Aufpreis), täglich frisches Trinkwasser und leckeren Nespresso Kaffee für die eigene Maschine auf dem Zimmer. Auf dem Balkon gab es zwei gemütliche Liegen, zwei Tischchen und einen Wäscheständer. Der Service im gesamten Hotel war top, alles war sauber und die Mitarbeiter stets freundlich. Sowohl der Strand, als auch der Poolbereich und die Lobby waren immer aufgeräumt und gepflegt. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und grün, es gibt viele Pflanzen und Palmen zu sehen. Zum Frühstück kann man sich fahren lassen oder mit der Seilbahn im Resort fahren. Außerdem fuhr dreimal täglich ein Shuttle in die "Stadt" und zurück, sodass man sich Taxi und Roller sparen konnte (bei Bedarf) - mit dem Roller die Insel erkunden, lohnt sich trotzdem. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und sind sehr froh darüber, etwas mehr für das Zimmer ausgegeben zu haben!

Leider musste man für das Ausleihen der Kajaks und der SUPs eine Gebühr bezahlen (pro Stunde). Dies war für den Preis des Hotels leider enttäuschend - in allen anderen (günstigeren) Unterkünften, musste nichts für das Leihen von Kajaks und SUPs gezahlt werden.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit Traumausblick zum Genießen

- exklusive schöne Lage am Hang des Regenwalds - tolle Anlage mit schönem Privatstrand - kleines aber feines Fitnessstudio - reichhaltiges Buffet

Kleine Kritiken: - sehr sehr langsame Standseilbahn, da man i.d.R. aber sowieso einen Roller mieten sollte, um mobil zu sein, ist das kein Problem. So kommt man auch schnell vom oberen Teil der Anlage zum Strand und zurück - in den Zimmern unterhalb des Frühstücksraum bekommt man ab morgens vom Betrieb mit (Stühle rücken, etc.). Zudem sind dort auch die Roller und Golf-Cars leicht zu hören, die auf der Privatstraße hinter den Zimmern fahren. Wer hier empfindlich ist, sollte auf ein anderes Zimmer ausweichen. Ansonsten war die Anlage und das Zimmer sehr ruhig. - im Oktober 2023 eine Baustelle an den Hotelzimmern hinter den Bungalows am Strand. Dies beeinträchtigt aktuell aber m.E. nur Zimmer in diesem Bereich. Am Strand bekam man kaum etwas davon mit.

Spoil yourself and stay here, it’s fantastic

Pretty much everything. It’s high end prices for Thailand but it’s high end standards throughout. Superbly trained staff, superb pools and bars, fantastic location with great views and a great breakfast👍

Only the price but it’s still cheaper than a Travelodge in Croydon on a Saturday lol. Nothing wrong with Croydon by the way 😄

Our favourite hotel on Koh Chang. The view and the two pools make it!

A superb location with a stunning view out over some small islands. Two lovely, large swimming pools, one by the beach and the other up the mountain by the accommodation (there is a funicular). We have been back several times over several years, and it never disappoints!

Staff at Reception not very helpful on arranging onward transport. Also we got a few sandfly bites on the beach (not really the hotel's fault!).

in bathroom no tooth brush and paste so it’s hard . it’s good for relaxing but not convenient. only Tuk Tuk one way available so it’s not benefit . I told Tuk Tuk driver just wait 2 minutes but he didn’t wait very disappointed at least the hotel must have to give both way service with time .Around Resort nothing so we have to go out buy for water or etc other things

Great location, friendly staff. The hotel is huge. we enjoy both view point at the mountain and whites and at the beach.

The food was great but not have many choices. We stayed there for 7 nights; so, had to eat outside from time to time.
