Amazing cottage in vineyard, great location

Amazing location, surrounded by it’s own small vineyard. Easy walk to the wine tram and short trip into Franschhoek. Great to have a pool. Cottages were great, well equipped and wonderful hosts.

The kitchen was nice

The shower and the glass was very mouldy.. Little snails were every where... The bedroom carpets were smelly and dusty

Superb

The shower and bath does not work. No shower glass so floor stay wet. Bath too small to bath in so was a struggle but the restnof thebstay was great. Very great lication and very quiet and safe

The location and cottage is perfect. I love the layout of the cottage. The gas stove was quite a nice suprise with all of the loadshedding lights and heaters. The cottage and location has a warm cozy feeling to it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Perfect for couples or family weekend away.

Such a special stay with my sister which exceeded our expectations.

The ample space, the lovely pool area surrounded by their vineyard, the various provisions, comfy beds and lovely host.

Shower needs a curtain so water doesn't leak onto the floor.

Great place to stay, such comfortable bedrooms, lovely linen. Well equipped kitchen. A little far to walk to town but otherwise just perfect! Shall be back!

power and Wi-Fi - can deal with load shedding but when the power is turned off from 10 pm to 8 am that’s not right. always an excuse on Wi-Fi too ie plug fell out!

There was loadshedding from 6am to 8.30 and although there is a gas hob, no matches or lighter could be found to light the hob, so no coffee as we had to leave early.

Very good

The cottage was large and comfortable. The cottage is set amongst vines which is very pretty. The dogs were perfect hosts - always around for a pat but never bothered us in the cottage!

Unfortunately it was a bit noisy as the cottage looked on to the main road through Franschoek which is very busy.

Lovely cottage close to the beautiful village of Franschhoek

Spacious and well equipped cottage. Well located for the village and local wineries. stunning mountain views. Photos of the property are very accurate. Very helpful owner and manager.

There is some noise from the main road. We stayed 7 nights so a washing machine would have been helpful. Having said that, we did discover a laundrette right next door to the farm.

A great stay in the middle of a landscape of vineyards

Initial concern that the main road was too intrusive evaporated and we appreciated the ease of getting into town . The views from the terrace towards the mountains. The hosts were very helpful.

The staff were lovely and kind and the 4 large dogs were the loveliest, softest, most gentle dogs.

- Unfortunately exceptionally noisy traffic, motorbikes etc on the main road all day and night. - The shared pool area between the 2 cottages was a little awkward. - All 4 beautiful dogs had shock collars on to keep them from going to the cottages and guests and the front gate. - The interior was very dated and the carpets throughout were dirty with black marks.

Beautiful vineyard getaway in the Winelands

The property is located within a vineyard which is very novel and we received a complementary bottle of red wine produced from the vineyard, which was a lovely touch. The scenery from the property is beautiful, with 360° views of the Franschhoek mountains. The setting is very beautiful! The property is perfectly located if you're interested in visiting the local wine estates in Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Worcester.

The unit is very cold in winter. There is no insulation so the unit gets cold very quickly without the small fan heater on. The bathroom is very cold and the shower has no door so it is icy cold... better get used to taking short showers! There are 4 German Shepherds on the property that are very boisterous, if you are scared of dogs or not comfortable with bigger dogs, this could be a problem. The property is very close to the main road, which is very busy and noisy.

We'd love to come back in summer

Location was ideal and super close to the function we were attending. Had all the amenities we needed for a quick stay over and centrally located to other activities. Was well equipped for our friends group stay.
