Another amazing weekend at the Advocate Arms

OK but needs tidying up

Good location and price. Comfortable bed.

Property was renovated in 2008 but now looking tired. Wallpaper peeling off all over the hotel. Bedroom carpet unsuitable for hotel use. Unlikely to be 5star as advertised. No phone in the room to contact reception. No lift and disabled access. Breakfast options are all individually priced so the normal all included breakfast offered elsewhere would turn out to about £20. Some dinner menu items rather mean portions for the price.

Parking Burnt toast No fruit juice offered Luke warm breakfast items ( especially beans) Free milk in thermos flask went off every day . Suggest hotel takeaway old milk and replenish every day . Should not have to ask every day. Uninspiring outside area

a pleasant and comfortable overnight stay

the rooms were clean and spacious. the restaurant attached to the hotel offered a wide range of delicious food with generous proportions. the staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help

parking was a problem as the hotel was on a main road and there was only a council car park about 100 yards down the road. fortunately when we arrived the car park was free from 6 and for all of the Sunday. if we’d arrived earlier on another day we would have had to pay parking costs.

Great staff & gorgeous building.

Lovely building in the centre of Market Rasen. Extremely warm & welcoming staff who were very helpful.

On our day of staying they’d had heating problems that a Plummer was there fixing so it was a little cold but nothing major.

Brilliant hotel and a great location with good food and drink choices.

Great location, brilliant staff and good food and drink choices. The hotel room was lovely, nice decor throughout. Brilliant stay and would defo come back.

Lack of pillow choice and only two in the room and not the best.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was excellent for lunch and breakfast.

We stayed in a smaller room which needed a bit of TLC, the most odd thing being the uneven curtains!

Cosy, really lovely room, it was quiet after 10pm which was spot on as I was up early!

The bedroom was lovely - had lots of perks as such as free tea and coffee and even hot chocolate! The staff were so lovely and kind and made an effort to make me feel welcomed and explained everything to me in regards to me leaving early for work commitments etc

Central location in Market Rasen.We have stayed 3 times before .Just as good as the last visit.Staff very professional and a credit to the establishment. Food was excellent as usual in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast was good. Would stay again without any hesitation.😊

EXECELLENT. Will stay there again in the future.

The room was excellent as was breakfast. Staff all brilliant.

Check out time was 10 am which was poor for a Saturday morning. Should be 11am or 12 noon. They charge £10 an hour for after 10 a.m. Why?

Very pleasant as always

Food is outstanding always. Rooms are clean and well equipped.

Car parking is limited and a little hit or miss in the market square. Breakfast service doesn't start until 8:00am and so if leaving early can mean use miss out.

Would not stay again. very noisey with being on high street, Fight outside hotel on Saturday night,

Decoration of the interior and exterior of the property good. Staff very helpful.

Food quality was poor. No condiments on table for breakfast, No table mats. You had to ask for any sauces that you wanted, none on the table. Food costs expensive 2 rashers of bacon, 2 eggs and toast £9.95|||| and a coffee

Stay here every time I travel for work - great wifi, comfortable and always clean. Great food aswell.

More plug sockets in the room wouldn’t go amiss!

Unable to book into restaurant , and couldnt find another restaurant in Market Rasen !! Bar shut at 10.00 ..... on a Saturday ...!!!!
