The hotel is cosy, not big, was a perfect option for me as it served as a connection point in my travels. Located in the vicinity of the railway station and not far away from one of the marvels of this world - Meenakshi Amman Temple.

Staff here are very attentive and from the lobby everything looks good. The food in the restaurant isn’t bad. Nothing to be wowed about, but not bad. Unfortunately the room didn’t live up to expectations.
It’s clear the hotel was decorated quite a long time ago, it’s quite old fashioned. The real issue is the bathroom. Repairs are done poorly, and it had an odd smell to it. Bizarrely the toilet didn’t seem to have a flush button and I had to resort to using the bucket left in the bathroom. Worst was the disgusting bathtub. It was stained and slimy, as if it hadn’t been cleaned since the last person used it. Not a pleasant experience.
The air con is very loud from all the rooms, even if you turn off your own, you can hear the hum from everywhere else.
This is definitely overpriced for what I got.

Location and the classic style of hotel. Duty Manager - Mr Abirh was excellent and the room staff especially Amurgum were enthusiastic.
Breakfast lacked variety especially regarding south Indian meal choices.

Location is good.
When you enter the hotel the lobby is fine. But when you go to the actual floor it is very dirty as they have put cloth carpet all over. Even lift has that cloth cover. Every where that cover was dirty. Upper floor has zero ventilation so in corridor one feels suffocated. They gave you Valet parking and you need to keep your car keys at the reception for the duration of your stay. This I did not like. If you like to fully control your car then it is not the hotel to be in.

Good hotel.
I was cheated. I had booked a deluxe room for three people but provided standard room for two. one of was sleeping on the floor. When I asked to compensate I was told nothing can be done since booked through booking. com. It never happened anywhere in my global travels.

The room was very good, break fast was also very good. Location wise it was good right near the most important places to visit like Meenakshi temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Thirupparakundram was a bit far still ok.
Vegetarian food was limited but tasty. The travel desk was helpful and the staff very efficient.
The hotel being right in the busy part of town was easy to locate but difficult to drive around and access due to heavy traffic and parking was the most important thing I was not happy about. It was not ample and my car was stuck between parked cars and I had to wait for 30 minutes to extricate myself in the morning. The parking was full by the time we reached there at noon itself!! Limited fare on vegetarian food but being at the right place you could choose to eat out.
