This was our second stay at this hotel, we returned with family as loved the first visit so much! The staff are absolutely wonderful and so very friendly and helpful. The rooms we had with the balconies were superb for sitting out on in the lovely sun with a glass of wine! I just can’t praise the food enough here at the restaurant…..it’s the best restaurant in a hotel I have ever come across. Definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return to the Loire Valley soon.

I think this was a superb accommodation and restaurant suitably distanced from the overcrowding of Amboise. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Utilitarian bedrooms but supremely comfortable bed, everything spotlessly clean. Good parking
I highly recommend this property.

This hotel is really lovely. It’s not really walkable to town, but we knew this from previous reviews, and there was plenty of free parking, always a bonus. the gentleman that greeted us at reception couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, all of the staff were excellent. We had a lovely room with a terrace, which would have been excellent if it wasn’t raining!! The food in the restaurant is absolutely superb. We have lived in France for 5 years and this was the best steak we have ever had since moving here. I would thoroughly recommend eating here, and the service was excellent too. The room was a good size and everything was clean and tidy. we will definitely stay here again. We don’t have anything negative to say!
nothing……all fantastic.

Friendly staff. Town centre fairly close by car, it is walkable but no pavement for a lot of it. Good value breakfast.
We booked a room with terrace and upon arrival there was work being undertaken that meant equipment was being stored there. Slightly dangerous as there is no lighting out there. We were not informed of this on Booking, although we were informed that the restaurant was closed that night. There are a lot of steps from the car park to the reception. Ripped curtain in room.

The location was easy to find and parking was no problem. The room was clean. The dinner was exeptional.
The dishes were not well cleaned. It is such a pity for such a good restaurant when you repeatedly notice that your fork and spoon have not been properly cleaned. We waited in the morning for half an hour until we could check out. We wanted to check out at 7:30 am, but the reception was not open yet. It would be preferable if we could be informed in advance about check-out hours.

A very nice room with a private terrace for only 5 euros extra.. Nice breakfast. Easy parking. Very good value.
The check in time from 6pm (don't try earlier - no-one there) is very inconvenient after a long drive arriving before 6pm. We had to use time by driving into Amboise and having an early dinner. Nothing wrong with the breakfast though. If you want dinner, be aware that the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday and the nearest food is several kilometres away in Amboise which cramps the drinks with dinner plans. Both these facts could be easily missed on the website.

Our room was clean and the aircon was quiet.

The hotel is on the main street but you can’t hear any noise. It is on good location and has excellent parking. The rooms are small but very clean. The owners are very nice and provided us with all the info we needed.
The bathtub was just under the roof and it is not convenient for taller people.

A very comprehensive breakfast with plenty of choice, fresh fruit and homemade yoghurts etc. Room with en-suite and large balcony. Hotel on road out of town in nice setting with gardens and plenty of space for parking. Double glazing coped with traffic noise. Pleasant dining room. Good location for exploring the Loire as a base.
Although beside the river there was no view either from the bedroom window or from the terrace. Also the hotel was right on the road and there was no place to let the dog exercise herself safely. No Gates. Monday no evening meal. Too far to walk into Amboise so had to take the car.

It is a very small well run hotel with an excellent restaurant. We would not hesitate in staying there again.

We enjoyed a wonderful three course meal with complimentary amuse bouche, every course was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served with style. The staff could not have been more helpful. It was a special wedding anniversary and everyone was very welcoming and went the extra mile for us.
Nothing could have been any better! Everything exceeded our expectations, from the food to the service.

Extremely friendly service and very good food. Hygiene measures for the prevention of Covid were very professionally applied and gave confidence to guests and staff.

Very nice room with a terrace. Good size for two people, also with a table and two chairs. Really appreciated the rack in the bathroom. The terrace is not properly delimitated from neighbor rooms (just some white linen on half the length) but we were the only ones staying outside. Lots of parking places. Very good food at the restaurant. It was full every night, this says many things about the quality of food. It's not walking distance from Amboise, it's about 5 minutes away by car.
Please do something about the terrace. Better separation, a sun umbrella, some flowers, clean it in depth from time to time.
