Perfect staycation

Knai Bang Chatt, My Personal Paradise As a regular guest at Knai Bang Chatt, I can confidently say I've been addicted to this paradise from the very first day. The moment you arrive, tranquility washes over you – breathtaking ocean and mountain views greet you alongside the warm smiles of the staff. The room aren’t just a room; it's sanctuary. Imagine stepping onto that plush balcony overlooking the expanse of the ocean – a scene I never tire of. The sound of gentle waves lulls me into relaxation, and the comfortable bed ensures a perfect night's sleep. Every detail, from the luxurious linens to the locally-sourced welcome basket filled with exotic fruits, speaks volumes about the resort's commitment to guest comfort. But Knai Bang Chatt's magic extends beyond its stunning location and beautiful accommodations. The staff truly shines. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality make me feel like more than just a guest; I feel like valued family. Speaking of pampering, a visit to the spa is a must. The treatment is pure bliss. 10/10 best experience in Kep!

Knai Bang Chatt is the epitome of paradise in Kep - this is the best resort by far. The architecture is simply brilliant, rooms are very stylish & clean, infinity pool super inviting overlooking the sea, but most of all the staff are all so wonderful and make the stay well worth. Do also indulge in the beach’s discovery center for sailing & water sports activities, or chill with some classy sunset vibes at Kep West’s “The Wave” for drinks & dining!

It’s perfect the way it is.

Very friendly and attentive staff, great service Good lunch and dinner food Garden is stunning Super quiet and exclusive Very cozy pool area Bicycles are in good condition and hotel can provide helmets and locks

- Breakfast is not worthy of a hotel of this standing: very small portions, everything comes with bland cucumber salad, fruits on the buffet are at the mercy of flies, yogurt tastes expired - Food portions are very inconsistent; guests shouldn't have to guess - There are a lot of small things that aren't up to the standard that the price commands. They're small, but when you add them all up, it just makes you feel like not enough thinking goes behind making the hotel as comfortable as possible: wobbly room door knob, not enough drinking water in the room (they will give you more if you ask though), so-so mattress, electrical noise from the bedside lamp (which cannot be unplugged), poor wifi coverage, ineffective aircon. - We went on the boat tour with lunch on an island; it was lovely, until we realized that the boat captain and the hotel staff accompanying us didn't have lunch. When we asked them, they said that that's just how it is: they eat a lot before going, go hungry during the trip, and eat only when back on shore. This made us feel guilty, so we decided to go back not too long after lunch so they could eat, even though there was plenty of day left which we would rather have spent enjoying the island.

Lovely location and clean hotel which was let down by poor staff capacity/customer service

The biggest disappointment was the staff. I was told by the receptionists that they were too busy to check us in because they were dealing with another guest. We were booked for two, and I was berated by another staff member the next morning about needing to pay for an extra breakfast (if they bothered to ask for our passports at check in this would not be a problem!). Staff could not answer basic questions about food options (which, for breakfast, were meagre), and when I asked for room service they never asked the room number, so I had to call back ages later which defeated the purpose of ordering to the room. The bill at checkout was a lot higher than quoted on booking.com (which was adjusted down upon request). It is sad that a place so reputable fails at basic customer service - especially considering the price. There are no tea/coffee options in the rooms (surprising), and the plumbing of the room started to smell after a day.

This is a beautiful hotel. The grounds are stunning the food delicious. Nearly cried when we had to leave.
