All the staff were excellent in service and helpful making it a very good experience!
The slippery road after a lot of rain but we were very glad for the rain.

We had a great stay at Chrislin African Lodge. The stuff is very nice and we even got cake, cookies and siniging for my husbands birthday. And everybody was so nice with our kids. They even had a play area in the restaurant, and the playground on grass was loved, as well as the wonderful pool. The hut was very spacious and perfect for our family. To Addo Elefant Park it‘s a 15 min. drive. What we also loved… there‘s a supermarket not far away. We would definetely come again!

Beds are very comfortable. They arranged a packed breakfast pack for us as we were not able to stay for breakfast and needing to leave earlier and it was made up really well. All the staff are very friendly and helpful! Rooms are nice and large.

Nice place to relax and good starting point for Addo Park visit. Great choice for dinner. No need to drive outside.
Wifi not available everywhere e.g. in our room. Load Shedding generators where close by to our room and a little bit noisy in the night.

Nice location, close to Addo Elephant National Park. Rooms were comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious - probably the best thing about our stay! The staff were super friendly.
One of the rooms had a sofa bed which was a danger to sit on as we think it might have been broken!!

Breakfast was really good. You could taste the veggies and watermelon was organically grown. Staff was very friendly and the place is simplistic, neat and peaceful with beautiful well kept garden, pool and surroundings.

We had a beautiful chalet with a very large comfortable bed with nice linen and cushions. The bathroom is large as is the walk in shower. The room has a fridge and a ceiling fan, but no air conditioner.
The breakfast and dinner on both days was excellent and the staff were wonderful.
The swimming pool and the grounds are nice and well kept with a pool lapa for reading in the shade.
Needs an air conditioner in the room.

The grounds are beautiful and also the bungalows are really sweet.
Unfortunately we did not feel very welcome by the staff. The guy that checked us in rushed through everything and did not really help with information that we needed. Dinner was disappointing too after the amazing photos that we saw online. The braai buffet was a little underwhelming for the price. Staff there was also not very helpful.
Again on check out the interaction with a young woman was rather cold and they could not care less if we enjoyed the stay etc.
Really nice property but the friendliness of the staff makes or breaks the experience.

I loved everything about our stay at Chrislin. The place is gorgeous and tranquil. The convenience of the restaurant on the lodge is a bonus and the food was lovely and quite affordable. I have no complaints and I'll go back soon.

Absolutely beautiful. We had marvellous ‘huts’ that were large, well furnished and air conditioned. The setting is magical in lovely grounds. Nice dinner and breakfast. When we left we had a flat tyre and two lovely blokes changed the wheel for us.

Getting away from the hectic lifestyle. This beautiful location was so peaceful, quiet, just the sounds of nature, extremely comfortable and soothing.
There is nothing we didn't like. Even not having a TV was beneficial, more time to bond with my partner.

The hosts were amazing, sweet, kind, and caring. Though we arrived early they allowed us to check-in. They told us about the area, gave us the map, and mentioned that they have a set menu but there are also restaurants in the area. WIFI. When we mentioned that we had to go the game drive, they offered us a prepacked breakfast
No TV but it was explained

It was safe, as my other kids were in their separate room. It's a place where you can spend quality time. There were lots of activity places nearby you can go to and the staff helps you with that.
Limited options for breakfast

Location to visit Addo reserve and overall nature / calm feeling. Great bed and clean room.
The garden was very nice and well kept and weather being good, it was possible to enjoy the pool.
Reception staff was not nice nor helpful. They tried to charge me for the room twice and I felt I was bothering them when I asked for some travel recommendations of the area.
I also think it's not great that we have to commit if we have dinner at the hotel first thing in the morning, it cuts all flexibility and spontaneity of the day.
There was also loud techno music playing during the night which was really surprising for a place in the middle of the nature that was supposed to be a resting destination.

We stayed with our 5 yr old daughter to visit Addo Elephant Park. Great quiet location just off the main road. Close to the North entrance of Addo Elephant Park. About a 15 minute drive through all the citrus fields. The room was large and comfortable, clean and well equipped. we enjoyed the outside seating area for stargazing at night and watching and listening to the birds in the morning. The pool is small but great for a quick dip in the morning. Our 5 year old daughter enjoyed playing in it although the weather really was too chilly to swim that particular day. The restaurant has a small play area right there which was great for us to eat fairly quietly while the little one played. The ladies in the restaurant were just wonderful and food was fine. Good breakfast. Lovely stay and great value for money!
The outside light was bright and the neighbors left it on while they were out so we could not look at the stars as we wanted. Furthermore the property was perfect. Nothing to dislike

The peaceful environment with lovely view from the room
Bird poo on the bedsheet and couch due to a bird in the roof

I liked that we had a lot of space. We were woken up by the song of different African birds. Our guide Gibson showed us a lot of animal that we would not seen without him. We liked too the canoeing tour on the river.
