Affordable and good location, good if you’re on a strict budget — otherwise would opt for something more comfortable

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, laundry on site, fun decor

Generally musty and dusty, mattress was completely collapsed in the center (like sleeping in a canoe), hard to find, no AC, bathroom was open to the rest of the room, no window to the outside

Best hostel I stayed in in Morocco!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hostel has a social vibe and it's easy to meet people. Clean, comfortable rooms with lockers (I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm). There was heating which was much appreciated as I was there in the winter. Nice rooftop terrace to hang out in. Very good wifi, I worked remotely from the hostel for 4 days and had no issues with the internet even when using it for videocalls. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and the promenade by the sea. There's a lovely hostel cat called Little Problem <3

The shower in the 4 bed female dorm wasn't the most private as there was no lock on the shower room door.

I slept in the private room, which is beautifully furnished and comfortable! The whole place is gorgeous and clean, and sports a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sip mint tea (offered by the hosts) in the morning. Definitely a great spot to stay to visit the Medina of Tangier, will stay here if I'm back in town!

Very nice place

Lovely hostel bigger than on the photos! The roof top is amazing and the staff is very very nice. Location is good, 10 min walk from the ferry.

The beds make noise so if people go to sleep at 3am (as it happened to me) they will wake you up. But for the price It’s totally fine !

It was adequate and clean. Not great value-for-money.

Good location, clean, acceptable room and bathroom.

It didn't have a comfortable common area indoors. The roof terrace was nice but at this time of year it would have been nice to have a better place inside as well.

We had a really warm welcome and the host gave us all information about Tanger, as well as book bus tickets, which meant our trip was easy. It's a very central location to the medina and so plenty of shops and cafes. The room, which was actually a triple, was large and airy and shower hot.

As a hostel it is a bit noisy, but of course that depends on who is sitting in outside areas talking loudly!

location was convenient and the staff was very helpful with what we needed

could have been cleaner, there were hairs in the shower and it flooded a bit. I slept on the top bunked bed which was not only hard to get up to but also felt like I was sleeping in dust and humidity, not the most pleasant.

I was travelling alone as a women, and needed to work for a few hours per day. I booked a private room but enjoyed the common places (incl. the wonderful rooftop). The best part about this place is definitively the people (starting with the Manager Nadi who always is available for a chat, a tea, a group lunch or a visit; Rachid who was amazing at explaining how to travel to the south, and all the guests who gave me the feeling of a large family). I highly highly recommend as the ultimate experience of travelling

Very friendly staff (especially Rashid), beautiful location and great place to meet people. The roof with the view over the Mediterrean to Spain is incredible.

The dorm room on the first floor is quite tight and noisy overnight with the street so close by.

Really nice hostel. Adil and Nadi were so kind, they explained to us everything we need and gave us useful tips of the city. Our room was so comfortable, and the hostel was so cool.

Wonderful, happy and greatful to have spent one week there!!

It was so great! If You want to feel at home and enjoy life in Marokko and if You are looking for wonderful people like Nadi and Rachid and if You love coffee and tea on the roof-top in the morning and spectacular sunset and view on the sea in Tanger in a beautiful hostel enjoy Bayt Alice Hostel-I wish I could still be there right now!!!
