It was so peaceful and quiet. A beautiful wee villa in an amazing setting.

Lovely, quiet place to stay. Great hosts.

We arrived late, got lost, hosts meet us at the door. They were so friendly and welcoming, laughed about us getting lost!! They then took us to our accommodation and showed us around. Added bonus, we were aloud to meet their dog. He was the goodest boy.

The pillows were too hard.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful home.

Everything was fantastic, communication before hand, the accommodation was outstanding. Bruce and Judy were the loveliest of people, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this wonderful place. Thank you for a brilliant stay, and we definitely will be back 😊😊

Great little gem

The property exceeded our expectations. The hosts are brilliant, and there's everything you need for a relaxed holiday, even for a short stay. Very close to shops but far enough away to be in the country. Highly recommend and hope to return on another trip.

Simply amazing place, kind and caring hosts who go above and beyond, beautiful grounds and property.

Bruce, our host, was absolutely amazing. Our hire car fell through from the airport so we turned up in a taxi with no food and no way of getting around. He went above and beyond to help us out, driving to get us some dinner and providing us with a spectacular breakfast the following morning. His kindness and care were incredible. We were extremely grateful. Everything about this place is wonderful. A stunning, peaceful location - feels rural but so close to the beach, the city, the airport. The property is private, squeaky clean, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. I could run out of superlatives really - highly recommend! An added bonus was Brodie the beautiful dog :-)

Nothing could be improved. This was a A** stay. I just wish we'd had more time to enjoy everything. We were attending an event which took us away from the property for large parts of our stay. We'll be sure to go back again for a proper holiday to really make the most of the place.

Our stay at The Meadows Villa was wonderful. We would definitely choose to stay there again.

The villa far exceeded our expectations. It was modern and very roomy. The beds were extremely comfy and breakfast was lovely. The grounds were beautiful and our hosts were very accommodating and helpful with our unexpected late arrival.

Excellent, surpassed all our expectations

Breakfast was exceptional, multiple choices of a continental breakfasts were provided, the fresh fruit was particularly good. The accommodation was clean, well presented and spacious, including our own garage. The family swimming pool was available for us to use on request however we did not have the opportunity to use it having spent our time exploring Christchurch. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone visiting Christchurch who has hired vehicle access to get into Christchurch and its environs

Amazing villa, great for family stays.

Clean, comfortable villa with everything you need. Amazing breakfast provided with fresh fruits, yoghurt, muesli, toast. Friendly host. Loved the rural setting. Games provided for the kids.

Beautiful rural setting with luxury quality fitout - quiet and comfortable

A warm welcome by the host and good explanation on how things worked etc. Very generous continental breakfast. Lovely two bedroom unit with spectacular views. Very relaxing environment.

I loved this place! Would recommend my friends to come too!

I liked that the place was very very clean, and it was extremely cosy and well kept. The rooms were spacious and the environment was beautiful. The hosts were amazing, they explained the safety procedures to us in the event of fire and earthquake, and they prepared torchlights for us and adapters for us. After we told them that we had to leave early the next day for our flight, they brought the breakfast to our rooms for us the night before so that we could have it the next day. The rooms were well heated with heaters and there were heated beds, and the entire place was very well kept. I would definitely come back again. This place was even better than other hotels that we stayed in. They even had extra pillows and blankets for us.

There was nothing that we didn't like!

Fantastic Place to Stay

The Meadows was absolutely fantastic. Everything was beautifully and tastefully done. Bruce was great. Plenty of recommendations of where to go. Hopefully next time we come over it will be summer and we can take advantage of the lovely outside seating area.

Big house in a 5-star neighbourhood, within a short drive from downtown CC, with all the facilities and amenities and the always-ready-to-help host. Absolutely dog-friendly, with own exercise paddock.

Secluded, beautiful setting, away from noise and hustle and bustle , lovely hosts and excellent price, our first choice when we visit again
