Good location, rooms are of good size, and room was quiet
Less than welcoming staff, absolutely freezing room, it took 4 hours for the room to warm up even with the air conditioning on high. Broken blinds, light bulbs not working. Soul-less room.

The property needs a better secure parking space. Our car got broken into at the hotel car park and the hotel staff did not help us at all.

Room was spacious and clean. Had a nice view of the park.
They had "lost" my reservation. Staff was seldom at the front desk and communication was difficult

Very spacious and well-appointed rooms overlooking the park. Comfortable bed, good bathroom with shower and tub, and nice toiletries. Nice location for walking.
A bit far from most restaurants and the popular area of town for those with mobility issues, but otherwise lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

great location near the park bars and restaurants, great sized room with a view
on a busy road junctions so there was road noise,

Buena ubicación, tranquilo
No tenía cocina, solo microondas

Location was close to where I wanted to be.
The room smelt of strong chemicals that lingered for my 6 night stay. The carpet was wet. Very very noisy room with very early garbage and delivery trucks making a racket in and out of ground floor food joints. Exhaust fan smells wafting in from the kitchens of the restaurant downstairs. Noisey cleaning staff that played loud Indian music and cooked curry in the rooms. Remote control for the TV only worked when you held it next to the TV.

Good location, large room
Room not ready on check in. Parking very hard for a Ranger. Shower was extremely poor pressure. Ran out of shower gel.no milk in room.very noisy traffic all night. Surrounded by trash all around the grounds. Furniture was not comfy. Deck way to narrow with no outside seating. Bathroom tap wobbly..extraction fan in bathroom constantly on. Quite dated for a premier executive room. Fridge froze my drinks.

Excellent value for money - which I never state. Lovely spacious room with good decor. Dental and shaving kit was different - great idea. Staff were very accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay.

From the greetings we got when we walked it the moment we got in our room it was all perfect and the lady in the cafe doing the breakfast is amazing and the chef knows how to cook a good eggs. 100 percent would stay again.

Room was very loud. Slamming doors etc. no view. Very expensive even though cheapest room.

Was great. Highly recommended.

I've stayed here before, so knew what to expect. The rooms are spacious & well appointed. The staff are friendly & helpful. It's a bonus there are 2 restaurants at ground level.
The off street parking, You have to park on the upper most level, in the open, which is not ideal when it's raining and also it's a very narrow carpark design, there are lots of scrapes & busted off bollards (that are / were in really odd places) The carpark & how it's laid out / allocated is the real downfall of this place, otherwise it'd be right up there.

We booked but when we went there no rm for us but he did ring another place for us two stay

Fantastic service + hotel. I've stayed at the hotel Parkview based on the recommendation of a friend & it did not disappoint. The facilities were top notch and the service was fantastic. It has definitely become one of my go tos while visiting Christchurch.Very welcoming staff.

Excellent studio type hotel. It was like a home away from home as it was spacious. I like that it has a kitchennete, a living room, and the bed was very comfortable. The windows are large and the balcony has a large glass door, there is natural light and fresh air. Despite that it was in a busy street corner, it did not matter as we did not hear the noise in the street once you close the window. The bathroom jacuzzi was a big plus and since it was triangle shape, there were plenty of room in the bathroom for two people. Housekeeping also came to clean daily with supplies i.e., coffee and milk and fresh towels. The hallway elevator is easy access along with the parking. The park is right across and easy access for strolling, walking or running. Restaurants and convenient stores are also within walking distance. We like this place a lot. If I were to return to Christchurch, I would probably stay here again.
The reception area is not always manned. Staff is not around to ask for simple things i.e., taxi, early check out and stuff. (we had to leave early for our train ride to Pickton). Also, the restaurant in the hotel is closed early. We had to find another restaurant, which fortunately there are places open at 8:30pm. We loved Thai Orchid restaurant, the owner, Jules is awesome!!!

Location was good nice outlook onto park. Spacious room and bathroom
The road noise and the bedding is getting a bit tired
3.8
Location is great. Spacious room. Heaps of dining options very close and Hagley Park is just over the road.
Bed is quite firm if I'm being picky. It's fine, I am just used to a softer bed.
3.8
The room was clean and spacious. Lovely view of the park.
The sofa was falling apart and when you sat on it you nearly hit the ground. The bed base looked like a cat had been using it as a scratching post. We had a loud humming noise in our room until 10pm that started up again in the morning. Staff didn't know what it was.
3.8
Location and staff were great. But if it wasn't for Monster Chicken Restaurant below, I'd give it wide berth unless you expect 2 or 3 star hotel quality.
Terribly over priced. Room furniture was 2nd hand shop quality.
Breakfast had no eggs or espresso coffee. If it was rated 2 or 3 star then it would be acceptable as you would know what you were walking into. Parkview very exaggerated should be called Park ing lot view. And was constantly noisy
3.8
Location was good
Doors around the facility do not shut quietly… overly noisey especially at night . There appeared to be a social space down the corridor ( maybe a staff room) very noisy with comings and goings. Aircon was set at one mode and couldn’t be controlled independently from room.
3.8
The bed was fine; it was nice to have a bath as well
The place didn’t quite feel clean, a blind was broken and the rooftop parking was a bit of a headache
