Room was OK, breakfast good, dinner ordinary.
Dinner, Surf and Turf was a small pice of steak and what seemed to be 4 very small shop bought scampi like crumbed things?

The room was great value for money. Very clean and comfortable. Good bedding. Heating was on all night. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The gent running breakfast was very welcoming and efficient. The bar staff were vary nice plus one of them came over to our room quickly to help us with the TV.
Room was a little bit tired and I struggled to get the kettle in the sink to fill it, but then used a mug to do it! Unusually I forgot my own instant coffees and there wasn't much milk or sugar for 2 of us. (I'm sure they would have given us extra if I'd gone over for it) tv was a bit iffy.

Only fault was very hot room would definitely benefit from AC

Brilliant location and lovely staff.
The room had badly stained carpet all over, headboard had thick dust and hairs on, dusty in general and quite a few cobwebs, bath stained. Unfortunately the cleaning has gone downhill since we last stayed a few months ago.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much to help my wife and I enjoy our stay since my wife is disabled. Room was great and really spacious and clean. Food and service were excellent and good value for money. Had a lovely beer garden over the road next to the river. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.
There was a slight problem when checking in as we had to change our booking for a ground floor room which was amazing the property is a converted stable block with all the original features intact. However apart from that little problem everything surpassed our expectations.
