fabulous hosts, fabulous grounds, excellent rooms and upkeep was stellar. lovely hamam inside the grounds (proper facilities), gym, baby turtles, lovely strolling, gentle energy…. would 100% return!
menu needs alternative for gluten free / and another veggie option for dinner other than veggie tagine which gets old fast 🪬🙏🏽 I feel if you speak to the hosts in advance and let them know, they will accommodate. they are such a wonderful family!

Palais Amador is an oasis of calm that is clearly a labour of love for the amazing family that runs it. the spacious facilities, wonderful dining terraces and beautiful gardens create an atmosphere that is beyond compare for a truly relaxing holiday. Visits into Marrakech itself, excursions into the mountains or on site hamman or massage treatments are easily arranged with their contacts to ensure a personal service. We can’t wait to return ! thank you so much

We were travelling from the US and had initially booked a Riu all-inclusive. However, we didn't really need all-inclusive and the mixed reviews of that property were concerning. We kept searching for properties and just two days before our travel date, Palais Amador showed availability for our group of six. The excellent reviews and the beautiful pictures helped us make our decision. We booked two rooms and a suite, and came in with high expectations. The property, the rooms, the views and most of all, the owners and their warmth, helpfulness and customer service exceeded all our expectations. They upgraded us to two suites. The absolutely gorgeous hotel had noteworthy details - a garden with lots of flowers and fruit trees (all food/juice was from their garden/farm!) beautiful crown moldings, lights, chandelier, mirrors, coffee tables, beds, sofas - everything was hand-selected to reflect rich Moroccan architecture and artistry. This would have sufficed in itself but the stay was made even better by the hosts who welcomed us with delicious Moroccan tea and helped us plan our itinerary -arranging taxis, day tours and even the food as needed. They catered to our dietary needs at the restaurant, They provided us shopping tips. They did everything to ensure our stay was perfect. And it was. Thank you Palais Amador family - you all made our trip unforgettable. We yearn to be back already!
Gosh - nothing! My only suggestion would be to add some protein like beans to the free continental breakfast. The fresh juice, coffee and the breads were absolutely delicious but very carb dense.

The privacy, architecture and warm friendly staff.
It was perfect.

This beautiful place represented the beautiful people working there. Maria aka Mumma, Zak and Marouan were exceptional hosts. We were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves for 5 days of our trip. The team were so attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. I can’t say enough positive things about this place, we had an amazing time partly due to the beautiful surroundings but also the people working here. Every morning, greeted with a smile. I taught Marouan how to play table tennis, so you need to make sure you play against him when your there 😉
The location is both a negative and a positive. We chose this place because of the location and vibe. To travel into town can become expensive by taxi and the majority of the external excursions do not pick you up from Palais Amador.

Palais Amador was a small paradise away from the hustle and bustle from Marrakech. Maricelli and Zachari (her son), took splendid care of our every need and more with such kindness and interest. Explaining history, environment, things to do and everything else that came up.
Nothing was disappointing - it was all outstanding !

The breakfast was nice, some of the staff were lovely, the bedrooms are big and comfortable. The hotel has lovely grounds, it is surrounded by fruit trees and the pool is very pretty. However, these features to not outweigh the negatives. 2
The hotel is massively overpriced in every way. From the minibar in the rooms, to dinner, to water, to the spa - this makes the whole stay uncomfortable. In addition, the hotel is managed in a tight-fisted way, you pay a lot for small portions and feel hard done by. It feels like an expensive holiday with no added generosity. The hotel is far away from Marrakesh and so they have a monopoly on the food/drinks/water and they really abuse it here! If the hotel was expensive but you felt like you were getting your money's worth you would not mind, but that is not the case here.
During my stay, there were building works going on by the pool which I was not told about prior to my booking. This is the only place to sit outside and relax in a bikini with a drink however, there was a loud drill in the background and many workmen around the pool. The noise was unrelaxing and the number of people was uncomfortable.
In addition, I was told that after I had left, the hotel owner and his son shouted at the friend I was travelling with because she had complained about the building works. She is a young girl who was being shouted at by two adult men in front of the other hotel guests so aggressively that it made her cry. I don't think any guest should be made to cry for making a very valid complaint.
