Location
Cuarto con mucha humedad y una regadera muy pequeña que no permitía mover seguramente por el baño, no salía agua de la regadera y el personal no estaba muy atento a lo que necesitábamos

I loved the eco-friendly initiatives the hostel had in place, like recycling and composting.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were well-equipped, with plenty of storage space for all of my belongings.

I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi.

Nothing
Everything. Huge cockroach inside the house, parties outside of the property and no glass for noise insulation, washing machine next to our room operating at silent hours, destroyed walls. Good thing, I remembered how it was when I was in the army...

Meeting nice people.
One of beds that we booked was not available and two of us had to slept in one small bed. It was not properly cleaned. Also, the noise at night was too annoying...

Nothing
It is a horrible place. Nothing like we saw in the fotos of booking. We went to another place after seeing the room. We made the check-in at 9:30 PM and went out around 11:00 PM. There was no light on the roof, the fan did not work, the bottom half of the windows remains open, the washing machine was in front of our door, there was no light conection on the bed side and the door door does not close. We are not satisfied with our reservation and because we only spent two hours in the room we want a refund of at least our second booking (29-31 December) or we will make al the legal reclaims with Booking. Such positive energy and great vibes. The location is great, the staff is friendly and very helpful. Great for solo travelers looking to explore the area and meet new people. I’ll definitely be staying here again for my next trip! 💕

This place was so ghetto I couldn’t even sleep with the hang out crew they have on the second floor including the workers all they did was yell all night I can say the room was clean and it has hot water but the walls need some painting they just need to illuminate the hangout

Lovely location, pleasant staff, nice other guests. Lots of people hanging out, and there's a bar across the street (perfect if that's what you've come to do in San Juan)
It was quite noisy in the evening/night. I bought some ear plugs and slept well after that.

Staff was great, very friendly, warm, and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The view from the roof was beautiful and it had basically what I needed and expected out of a hostel. It's centrally located, close to the Lagoon, a bus stop, and great snorkeling spots.
The wifi regularly went out. There were also multiple power and water shortages that I felt the owner should have been more prepared for. It was also difficult to use the gas range in the outdoor kitchen with all the wind, and the induction stovetop didn't have the necessary pot for boiling water. There also wasn't a coffee machine.

Nothing!
They don't have any services for guests after business hours. They confirm the room and take your money without even reading the requests and expectations you have from the room or their staff. They have no idea what customer service entitles. The worst experience in my life!

just the location.

I loved the area it was in
Red ants were all over the room floor. Bathroom was disgusting. Left soap in bathroom with pubic hairs from last tenant. Beautiful on outside not so good inside. I was told I was goin to get partial money back and I got nothing.

Close to the water and main town
This place was not advertised how its living conditions were. We asked for an early check in which was not provided. They advised while we wait we can leave our stuff in the office. My neck pillow was stolen. We get into the room and there are not dressers to place our items, there is no hot water, no towels to even dry ourselves and the AC was blowing hot air.

The location and staff are probably the only two things that makes Casa Santurce what I makes it . Otherwise, the facilities, wifi and quality of the facility are absolutely atrocious are not at all worth the price they charge. If you are super low maintenance ONLY stay here then!!
The qualities of the bathroom. The setting of the room. Literally not even a side table (I stayed in a single room for two with my friend). The ease of running water. Ability to connect to wifi were all things that were missing. The facility is old and very run down.

The staff was really nice and friendly, they gave us towels and check in and check out was easy. I really don’t mind taking showers with cold water so that was not a problem for me.
The bathroom was really small, and there is not hot water, also the A/C was not working.

Just location. It is walking distance from Condado Beach and around the accommodation there are many good options of restaurants
I had some problems with them. They just send room´s door key/password the day of your arrival. In my case, I would be traveling all day long with no internet access, so I asked them this information in advance. No matter I detailed explained my reasons, they ignored my request. I had to ask Booking.com to talk to them and ONLY THEN they sent me (this saved us, because we arrived accommodation after midnight and their wifi was not working, so we would have stayed all night outside if I haven´t insisted in getting the password in advance). Their staff is inexperienced, have almost no information about the city, even about neighborhood restaurants. In our last day, after checkout, a staff guy denied us taking shower when we returned from the beach even after we explained him this was previously arranged and authorized by two other staff members. We had to travel dirty and sweaty. The room is noisy as other guests stay talking loudly near by, even after 11PM. The bed was uncomfortable and small for two people.
