The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Jan and her staff were very helpful and accommodating. The pool is large, and was very refreshing after a long trip.
It was all very nice.

staff and hospitality really helpful, pool was great, property in a beautiful location.
sadly the owner of the hotel told me I was too ‘fat for my man’ and needed to lose weight to be with him. she lectured me for 5 minutes about it- it was embarrassing and totally unnecessary, and ruined my day.

The Thai food was very good, skillfully prepared and it was a nice place to sit down next to the pool. It's a beautiful hotel and pool as well. The room is also very nice and everything worked perfectly well.
I was invited to drink with one of the staff. When the bill came I had to pay an extra 100 baht on top of the beer I got her. This was very disappointing because 1. They never told me that I would have to pay extra. 2. They made her flirt with me and insinuate that she had an interest despite the fact that they just wanted extra money. This is very bad, since it was at the bar of the hotel and I was a guest there. It's quite unethical and it kinda ruined the feeling I had about the otherwise very good hotel.

Stayed in one of the Bungalows was lovely surrounded by mature trees which made it nice and cool even in March. My daughter and her Yai Yai had a room next to the pool and which was great.

Fantastic pool, in the sun 9am - 4pm! Towels for pool also available. Pool cleaned every day. Great food available, the lovely lady cooks to order, excellent food! Lovely, large bedroom with excellent AC. Spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom. Fridge in room loaded with free water. Really helpful staff. Up the stairs to the first floor for great views over the Mekong. Stayed poolside so karaoke from Laos did not affect us too much but you could definitely hear it carrying across the river. Lovely gardens. Offers really great value for money. A massive Tesco Lotus at the end of the road. Also got a free ride to bus station from owner as added bonus. OK WiFi coverage. Chiang Khong is pleasant enough but more a stopover rather than destination but this hotel is great if you just need to catch your breath and have a couple of pool days.
We paid extra ££ for a breakfast option but there seems to be no set breakfast so did wonder why ask for upfront payment when there's no set option? In the end we worked out what to have with the lovely cook so not a problem really at all, just slightly confusing. Hotel is a little way out of town but we knew that and easy to get a tuktuk into town for a 12min journey, 300BHT. Had to ask to have toilet paper bin changed daily, but staff very helpful and immediately did it. Brighter bulb needed for our bedside lamp although I think that was for our bedroom only. There's a huge club room that feels a little unloved, could do with a bit of a refresh.
