the staff was very welcoming to us. The reception was very informative and we did enjoy the quiet and the beauty of nature. The chef and staff were also nice to us .
The bike trail was too small and we wanted to explore more. We would have liked to get informed before hand what all we could enjoy so as to reach earlier and enjoy the day even more.

Amazing location with beautifully decorated rooms. We did the little hike on the property and our daughter went down the river with the river tubes about 10 times. The grounds are lush and pretty with lots of platforms/areas to lounge. Great food at a very reasonable price.
The restaurant staff was friendly but lacked a little bit of the personal attention and smiles you would expect in a property like this. We were only there for one night so maybe we just hit an off day. We still highly recommend this place and would go back!

Nice cabanas in the jungle. Very close to St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park. There are some hiking trails and tubing available on the property. Jaguar Creek combines the nature of the jungle and the amenities of a nice resort.
Meals are served at fixed times.

the property was very well maintained.
the bed might be one of the softest beds I’ve slept on.
I didn’t like that you eat food at certain times only with an hour block of time. the bar isn’t open all the time. bring something with you. if you’re hungry going to resort or leaving, you’ll be stopping at the same place each time. I could’ve done without that

remote location, tires supplied for tubing, unique atmosphere, large bed was very comfortable.
Cut down trees as they are opening things up. understand that people want to see more landscaping, but sad to see a ceba tree cut down

I don't even know where to begin to say how wonderful our stay was at Jaguar Creek. When my family stepped onto the boardwalk leading into the complex, Carlos, our host, was there to greet us with a warm welcome. The lush foliage, the beautiful bird songs, and the pristine condition of the grounds exceeded all of our expectations. I have lived in Bolivia and the Casamance region of Senegal, so tropical climates are not new to me. However, I think Jaguar Creek is one of the most beautiful tropical places I have ever been. It is located very near to the inland Blue Hole and St. Herman's Cave. Ziplining, Mayan ruins, and ATM cave are all within about a one hour drive. The service was exceptional for dining, touring, and any other thing we needed help with. A big thank you to Carlos for your kindness and keeping our family of seven on time for all of our adventuring, and a big shout-out to Darrel, our server, bartender, and ATM cave buddy. We wish we had more time to master the game of Poker with you. The memories we made here will last a lifetime. We must mention one other thing. Jaguar Creek gives a portion of all profits to the surrounding schools, students, and teachers to support their education, health, and mental well-being. PathLight is the name of this program. So not only did we get to stay in an extraordinarily breathtaking place, we also, in a small way, were helping the surrounding communities. I highly recommend Jaguar Creek!
There is only one thing I can think of that was bothersome to my daughter-in-law. She and my son had a line of leaf-cutter ants eating one of the plants in their cabana. I found this fascinating; she did not so much. The ants were in no way bothering them, but we mentioned it to Carlos the next morning, and he absolutely took care of the problem while we were away for a few hours. I have no idea what he did, but it worked! The service at Jaguar Creek was exceptional in all areas!

The rooms were really nice for a family. Beautiful setting. Pricey, but we read it is for a good cause. From a bird-watchers point of view, this place is awesome! Nice raised boardwalks everywhere to enjoy all the species. Good was good too.
They advertised free tubing but only had 3 tubes. That was a disappointment for a family of 5. The wifi advertised seemed to just be a hotspot off the check-in guys phone. You had to be basically next to him and I never did get connected.

We've stayed there twice and loved both experiences! It's on the pricier end of places that we stay, but reading more about the initiatives that they fund in the community makes it clear to see the value. The people are incredibly friendly, and the food is phenomenal (including meat and vegetarian options)!
Nothing. It's fantastic!

The property was beautiful, food delicious, staff was excellent and accommodating, the room was comfortable, and there were bikes to use free of charge. Very good value!
You can walk to the blue hole and st Herman’s cave and bike to lamanai chocolate but otherwise there isn’t anything around you can get to without having a car or taking a tour. Not the lodges fault just something to be aware of. There is a decent bus service that goes by about every hour.

It was a special place, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated like we were special people. It was fun to be part of the Jaguar Creek family. Though we only stayed two nights, we felt like we really got to know everyone there. They have created a real warmth and hospitality that permeates the grounds.
I needed more Wi-Fi access than was readily available, but that was my problem, not theirs. And, in fact, this was an area they were allowed to shine because in trying to gain Wi-Fi accessibility for me, they really showed their very exceptional guest-care skills.

The location inside the jungle the staff was awesome and the food was amazing
The only thing was that because of the humidity everything stayed wet in the room but with no air-conditioning or heating and just screen windows it was expected

We came outside the main season and were the only guests. The reception was extremely friendly, our house was located at the end of the complex. The equipment in the house was perfect and in very good condition. The whole complex is located in dense tropical vegetation, one has virtually the feeling to sleep directly in the jungle, which is confirmed by the song of the birds in the mornig or the loud calls of the howler monkeys.
Food selection was limited and a little bit overpriced.

Super quiet and you wake up with the birds singing!
Jungle comes with mosquitos, but that’s nature!

We loved the remote jungle feel right off the Hummingbird Highway. Floating down the creek on tubes provided by the resort was lots of fun, and the beds were so comfortable! All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We only regret not staying a couple more nights.
Nothing.

First off, I ADORED this place. I had left Caye Caulker and wanted something more in the jungle and quieter. This was exactly that. There was only 1 other family there at the time of my stay (and my only complaint was that they put us right next to each other, so screaming family noises often overtook the jungle noises…), but I could not ask for a more beautiful setting. You will hear birds and animals all night, which I loved. Beautiful skies at night, but plenty of mosquitoes, so just prepare in advance. Rooms are gorgeous with amazing bathroom. True jungle luxury, but with no wifi and not insane luxuries, so you still get that rest and relaxation and value. Staff was SO nice. Must have a car to explore, and my only warning is it’s a gravel road to get there, so just be careful if not in a 4WD. Loved it and still dream of my nights here- seriously.
Just being next to another family who was super loud during my stay! Wish we’d been placed further apart so I could have heard more jungle and less screaming…

My family got the Jaguar Cabin to stay for one night, the room itself was very nice and clean. We went out to dinner and came back to find a large rat in the bathroom area where the toilet is located. The rodent seem to have been able to hide in a hole in the wall behind the light fixture. We contacted a representative of the resort about the issue and 3 maintenance personel came to assist. Their assistance, however, was merely to stuff plastic bags in the hole and say it's normal and that these rats are harmless and common. While we understand we are in a resort in the jungle and exotic animals and bugs are everywhere. By morning...the rat was out again even with the stuffings still in place. We were disappointed by the way the issue was handled. We paid to stay in comfort and safety, to enjoy all the amenities not to stay feeling uncertain with "common bush rats" running freely in the room. We could have been offered a different room or maybe they could have try and trap the animal and remove it from the room. But they didn't even offer and apology or alternative to better our situation. Something to consider when you are booking at Jaguar Creek.

Secluded in the jungle, Jaguar Creek is the perfect place to experience all of the nature of Belize. The extremely clean (rivals any 4-5 star), but earthly rustic individual cabins with screened windows all around are the perfect spot to fall asleep and wake with the sounds of the jungle. The food was amazing and the staff like family! There is no pool, but a refreshing clear creek to swim or relax in after a long day of exploring.
This is a perfect spot for a family, couple, or group of friends!
Loved everything.
