Nice rooms for a stay in Santa Cruz

I spent one night in the hotel before my departure from Baltra airport. The rooms are quite new, everything was clean and tidy. The staff was super helpful, especially with regards to organizing a transfer to the airport, which worked perfectly fine.

Some technical finetuning of the new rooms is needed, in my case the warm-cold regulation of the shower was not really responsive and the water pressure could have been a bit higher.

Fijne accomodatie op Santa Cruz

Vriendelijke host! Super modern complex, hele ruime en schone kamers. Zouden het zeker opnieuw boeken.

De WiFi werkte niet super goed op de kamer. Is geen ramp, maar soms wel handig (we wilden bv. vliegticket boeken). De douche had soms last van temperatuurwisselingen.

Our say in Patty Galapagos has been one of my favorites, staff members are super helpful and rooms are incredibly clean

The property is on a great location, 10 to 15 min walk from downtown Santa Cruz and straight shot to Tortuga Bay.

Excellent room and bathroom very very spacious. Good air con. Lovely strong shower.

It is further from centre than most, but worth it for price and facilities if you would like a comfortable room.

My stay was absolutely comfortable and perfect!

This is an incredibly beautiful property and Patty is an amazing host. Drinking water was available and I was able to have my laundry done right there as well. Location was great! Patty answered so many questions and helped coordinate hints when I needed them. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Very helpful host. The rooms spacious, clean. Clean swimming pool.

Though I got info that the hostel is in residential part of the city, we needed to take a taxi to the center and beach as the distance 1,5-2km in a very hot and humid day is not easy to cover. Only one window in the sitting room, none in the sleeping room, so the apartment is rather dark. Area densely built around.

Patty is the absolutely number one host that you could have in the island! She is caring about all your needs! She started with a useful presentation about the island and the activities and she was looking for to satisfies all our needs! Bikes are a big advantage in the town. She was super nice and gorgeous so I am not surprised that my friend fall in love with her! Thank you so much Patty for making our days!

We are very happy. With our trip. From reserving our accomodation Patty was very helpful and informative. Execellent service, very clean and friendly staff. Value for money. Patty always effective and quick to arrange even last minute anything that we need, we couldnt being happier and thankful. Highly recommend!

Really good, location a bit away from the city center but there are free bikes, so easy to get to the city center. Patty and her husband was really sweet and helpfull with booking tours, taxi etc. The room was a really good size with everything you need in the kitchen, a nice bathroom and AC. The shower was not alway hot but we only used it onced.

The pool was great and much appreciated on the hot sunny days. Enjoyed the kitchenette in the room to prepare breakfast and other meals. Great shopping at the Saturday Market. Patty was very helpful in arranging ferries to other islands, taxi rides and general information. I had a biking accident and landed in the hospital. Patty and her husband Marco were there supporting me and even offered to spend the night with me. Amazing people! I will definitely be returning.

Exceeded Expectations!

The room was much more spacious than I expected and very comfortable. The location wasn't near town, but it had a lot of great amenities around it with prices that weren't jacked up for being in the touristy part. We were able to find the best snacks around the neighborhood that we found the whole trip and there are bakeries nearby too. It was also super easy and simple to get into town, so don't let the location deter you from booking. The staff went above and beyond, getting us pastries at 6am before our 7am ferry, arranging our transport from the airport and to the ferry, and showing us around the neighborhood. Anything that we needed, they were able to quickly accommodate. The room had its own big 5 gallon bottle of purified water too. I am very happy we stayed here--would definitely stay here again!

free bikes and a great staff!

we had a one bedroom apartment with a small fridge and stove. that was nice to keep some things in the house. the location might be a little far for some people but we enjoyed the walk. Plus, they have plenty of free bikes you can ride around on.

We were very happy with our choice to stay at Patty's. We would recommend it!

The hostel was on the outskirts of town, but Patty has free bicycles for patrons to use to get around. We loved the use of the bikes! Patty and team were very friendly and helpful and we felt like our room and the facilities were a great value for the price we paid! There is a rooftop deck and we had dinner there one night and watched the sunset, it was beautiful. The hotel also has a swimming pool that is kept extremely clean and ready to swim in at all times. The team can arrange transportation to and from the port for you if you'd like (taxi) but it is much cheaper to take the island bus.

The only complaint we really had was how loud it was at night, as in most of the night! While the hostel is located in a mostly residential neighborhood, and we were there two weekend nights, it seemed as if the entire area was up partying until dawn both nights. In addition, so many dogs would bark all the time, nonstop. Bring noise canceling headphones and none of this would be an issue!

Kind and good place

The people. The owners are extremely helpful and actually take care of you. F.e. There was a local event and they came to our room to warn us that if we wanted to see the giant land turtles we should leave before 9 etc. Just very thoughtful. The appartement is clean big and comfortable. The pool we did not use but it looked nice and clean.

Superb

It was quiet and away from the busy marina. I loved that there was a small kitchen, so I could make breakfast in the morning and coffee. They let you use a bike whenever you want, which was super helpful and I took advantage of daily. The staff was super helpful and set up a couple tours and multiple taxis for me at a seemingly good price.

It was a bit far from the action, but with the bikes it didn’t really bother me.

Excellent hosts, great value for price paid!

The host was extremely helpful with ideas of things to do, where to get groceries for the kitchen, and even took us to a street food vendor for empanadas. He answered many questions and called taxis for us. He even offered to go to the hospital with us due to a sprained ankle if we wanted to go! Pool is a nice option after a tour. 2 large rooms let us spread out and it had a real couch to relax on. Kitchen was clean with basic equipment for cooking (BYO salt, oil, pepper) saved quite a bit of money by not eating out. Fridge with little freezer was invaluable for freezing ice packs for sprained ankle!

Patty's house is located a 15+ minute walk from the main area of town . We choose a taxi to come and go which was $!.50 each way, quick and easy (they will call you one, easy to get in town for return). Bikes are available but we choose not to use due to the tiny busy streets and hills. Everything looked clean, but the floor needed washing.

We loved the upstairs area. Was lovely to to have a drink at sunset in the hammock or get up for sunrise and do some yoga in mornings Perfect for large groups. Air con was excellent and slept very well. 5 minutes into town was very ideal and a beautiful walk

Excellent budget option in Puerto Ayora, highly recommended!

Patty and her husband are very helpful and can advise on trips or things to do. The room was large, and had some cooking equipment. Comfy beds, good A/C. There a little swimming pool which comes in handy to get some freshness. Free bikes!

The wifi connection was unstable at the time of our stay. It is located at the end of the village, which wasn't an issue for us but could be for those seeking something close to the action.

It's cheap, which is why I chose the apartment, but I wouldn't return.

The property offers free bike rental which is very useful. The swimming pool is cool and the guy who we dealt with was very friendly and gave us ideas on things to do. There were some small mini markets right next to the apartment. The shower was pretty good, powerful and hot.

If you require internet access, whether that's for watching netflix or doing work, it's pretty much impossible as the connection is so slow and often just cuts out. I did notice a really slow connection in different cafes throughout the island too. I need internet access for many reasons, even on holiday. The property does not accept cards, and we were also hit with an extra cost, which was some sort of tax. The view out of the window is of an unfinished roof, which has old shoes and building materials on it. There's an old CRT TV in the bedroom which should just be removed as it makes the room look worse. Many small things could be done to make the apartment better.
