Spa pools and steam room were very relaxing
OUr room was very small
4.1
Facilities are run down in places -need some maintenance and fresh paint.
4.1
Breakfast amazing, staff helpful and pleasant, cool location
Room was noisy as we located right next to the geo thermal vent - not the properties fault as it is on top of. geo thermal area, but other rooms not as close would be quieter I think
4.1
The sauna and the hot tub. Breakfast was great as well!
The noise behind the budget room, can hear some banging at times. but during the night it was ok.
4.1
Excellent location by river with nice view of the hills. So nice to be able to relax in the hot tubs after a long day looking at waterfalls and the lovely Icelandic nature!
4.1
Breakfast was great. The location was very fun, especially the hot tub but the steaming hill.
There were some repairs that needed to be done to the room and the facilities that have not been done. We did not realize the rooms were separate cabins

Plenty of room. great view. Super shower. Hot tub cleaned every day. Breakfast as fresh, tasty and generous. Food excellent. Very relaxed. Terrific location for touring main South West sites in Iceland. They offered to make up a breakfast for us to take since we were leaving at 04:00 am. Very thoughtful
There was nothing that we did not like. However, we would have preferred some wardrobe/drawer space.

wish the breakfast had more variety given the value.

A beautiful room and restaurant accompanied by the views and local sights. Lovely hosts and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub in the snowy mountains that they provided sliders and robes for. The room was very spacious and well equipped. Loved this

We literally booked 1 hour before arrival and the staff were informed of our arrival and checkin was quick and easy.
Our room was comfortable with a great view, and we really enjoyed the outside hot springs even when the evening was freezing.

The room was lovely, comfortable and clean, the location was beautiful, the food gorgeous, and the staff were extremely helpful, kind and friendly. My husband had a very painful back problem and they were so helpful and caring.
The only criticism that we had was that there was too little space (hardly any) for storing our clothes. There was nowhere to put our toiletries bags in the bathroom (we had to put them in the entrance hall, where on top of our empty suitcases) and nowhere really to put clothes, as we were at the hotel for 4 nights and wanted to unpack our suitcases. Simply the addition of more hooks would've improved this; both in the bedroom and the bathroom.

Stunning setting. Amazing food at dinner, nice breakfast.
Big pool was dirty and somewhat cold, sauna was dirty-2 days in a row filled with towels and bottles- not clean. Hot tubs where better and cleaner. Staff was not helpful with questions and it seemed like everything was rushed. We paid a lot for 2 rooms and we expected a much higher end experience then we received. The hangout area wasn’t comfortable and we had no where to sit as a bigger group. The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms were clean. Pictures of this property are extremely well taken and we were honestly disappointed when we opened our rooms. Bathrooms are tiny. The rooms are more like a camper park feeling.
Location is pretty. Easy 20 min walk to a food hall with lots of cool options to eat & drink. We did catch a glimpse of the northern lights so that made up for the experience.
We stayed at 2 other locations in Iceland during this trip and this place got the lowest rating from us.

The ambiance in the hotel and its surroundings is just perfect. The river, the hottub, sauna, and view just make it a great place to stay.
The staff was very friendly and always willing to help or advise you. It felt really personal, just awesome! This made our stay really beautiful 😍.
We booked a family room, and the size was a bit small.

No kettle in room (yes we are English lol), no steam room, could be more vegan options at breakfast (no vegan spread or mushrooms), intermittent wifi
