Parfait

Homestay charmant et très confortable. Au calme, tout en restant proche du centre de Kalimpong. Tania et sa famille sont des hôtes charmants. Les repas et petites déjeuners proposés sont excellents. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis à l’aise ce qui nous a permis de bien se relaxer.

Wish we would get similar homestays in other places also.

The entire family was exceptionally friendly and made us feel as if we are part of the family. Bonus was having Arunoday sweet little baby boy who made our stay more memorable with his cute smile and play all the time.

The stay was just amazing, great hospitality shown by the family, it completely felt like home to us. The homestay was just apt with delicious food, perfectly maintained, well decorated with all kinds of plants.

Nice homestay in Kalimpong

Nice family, very welcoming. The homestay is in a quiet place. Mr Gurung took us for a sightseeing of the city. The view was breathtaking.

Home away from home

Excellent hosts, warm and cordial. Every morning we were served excellent breakfast. Whenever we asked for lunch or dinner they served us sumptuous meal. The double deluxe room is amazing. We spent a lot of time in the balcony, which has an amazing seating facilities. The room was quite big and it is very well lit. The wifi connectivity is stable and quite decent. You'll get around 30-40 Mbps speed. The location of their house is roughly 2-3 km from the Kalimpong town and hence is ideal for a quite vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but the town is also easily accessible from the house by either walk or by shared taxi. Overall this is one of the most pleasant and memorable stay for us. Thank you Gurung family for your lovely hospitality. We hope to visit you again in the near future.

A place where everything was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Location was very good. Food served was excellent cooked with all organic ingredients. The balcony surrounded by trees was a great place to unwind and watch birds and squirrels. The hosts were very friendly and attended to our smallest needs. Overall, an amazing place to stay.

Superb

The hospitality was excellent , room was good, homely atmosphere . The family hosting us was very friendly and took care of our needs, local sightseeing and drop to Siliguri.

Felt like a real homestay. - Great Food - Great Facility (Hot water, Foodservice, and Quality Stay) and room view - Welcome and Send-off were amazing - Hospitality is unmatchable - Convenient location

- Extra Bed charged 1000 INR per night. This looks to be a steep addition to the base rate for the room. It would have been more comfortable to pay around 500-600 INR per night.

Best homestay with welcoming hosts

Situated amidst nature with beautiful landscape. We had plan for 3 days for lava, loleygaon and Kolakham, stayed in this amazing homestay. Starting from the delicious home cooked food to their warm welcome and the beautiful scenery from the balcony, everything was top notch. Uncle and Aunty were so nice and so warm in nature. Tina and Sandeep has been so helpful and was delight to be acquainted with. We will always be forever thankful for the amazing service. We can clearly say we have made friends there. This place will have a special place in our hearts. Enjoyed and loved each and every day of stay. Hope to visit again.

Heartwarming with excellent hosts .

I loved the whole experience of the home . This is exactly what is homestay experience should be like . The hosts were fantastic . The Gurung family is very warm and lovely. It was a heartwarming. I had a chance to explore the town with Tina and Sandeep and also listen to some stories from Mr. Gurung. The place has the most beautiful view of the peaks .The sunrise and moon are something to watch out for. And ideal place for someone who needs quiet and peace .
