Country get away.

The host was so helpful and very welcoming. The fire place inside and out was a big hit for us. Very comfortable beds, well designed with all the comforts of home.

The area of Melaney was a joy to visit and the accomodation at PkIllusions was perfect .

Location was less than 10 minutes from the lovely village of Melaney , so very handy , yet set in a rural forest like setting , so very quiet , with very friendly hosts yet did not intrude . The accomodation was very beautiful and comfortable with obvious care by the hosts put into providing a unique place to stay , providing a welcome tray of goods in the fridge and as well as providing enough for breakfasts for the stay . All facilities were impeccable .

There was nothing not to like , I would highly recommend a stay at PK Illusions .

a fun place to visit - recommended.

Location terrific, the friendly hosts gave us many tips on what was interesting, the house was well equipped with many little extra things in case we might need them.

The only heating was a fireplace in one room, and the nights were very cold.

Peaceful spot in the hinterland

The house is in a quiet spot not far from Maleny town. the two bedroom apartment was spacious and well appointed. Very friendly and helpful owners and their two dogs also friendly. The house has a wood fire for chilly nights and a nice outdoor area with outdoor fireplace. Breakfast supplies were plentiful.

an oven would be a nice addition to the otherwise well equipped kitchen.

Beautiful and spiritual experience

Location was amazing and property exceptional. Accomodation had plenty of room and had a very calming positive feel about it. The hosts Patrick and Glenene were lovely and they have two beautiful dogs Bobbi and Bentley. We will return again next year as we enjoyed ourselves so much but would like to stay an extra night next time.

Perfection is how I would some up our stay. The hosts were amazing and their home tranquil.

A beautiful hamper was left with the most amazing bread, jam, avocados, fruits, cereal, bacon and oh my goodness their own eggs from their hens. Plus chocolate and wine. Location was easy to find and we were greeted by Patrick when we arrived.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay and the property. It was beyond our expectations. We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary and had the most amazing time thanks so the beautiful hosts and their amazing home.

Disgusted and furious.

Glenene and her husband Patrick had created a very attractive space. The gardens were lovely also.

I am terribly sorry but Patrick didn't stop coming over, just a knock and he'd open the door. I said a number of times that I was getting breakfast and to excuse me, he stayed for nearly an hour talking about himself. The following morning ( by this time he had come over uninvited 4 times ! We had not been there for 24 hours). I was coming out of the shower and he commented on how I looked three times. Telling me I looked beautiful. I found this most unwelcome, he also tried to hug me each time he came on over. He badgered my 92 yr old mother about how she should buy a boom box because he had made us CDs, we said no thank you and so he went next door and turned up the music to a very loud level. My mother told him that she didn't like dogs, both mornings he bought his two rottweilers and opened the door for them to come into the lounge where my mother was sitting. When we left, 5 times I told him we did not need help, I came out with my mother's luggage and he had my mother at the top of a flight of stairs and had moved her walker and taken her cane, she was nowhere near anything to hold onto. She needs a lot of help with stairs. She is 92 years of age! I was finally and absolutely moved to fury ! I looked him in the face and told him to back away from my mother. My heart was pounding. I was astounded at his level of abuse in his position as a landlord. The accommodation was nice but you would have to move the decorations to put any of your own things down. Gleanene was a very nice lady and Patrick seemed like that at the first meeting but he was intrusive, and without any level of boundaries, and also passive-aggressive when we didn't want his CDs. My mother and I kept our blinds down which blocked the pleasant view because of the male host. I had come from overseas to spend time with my Mum and had saved to pay for this accommodation. I do not recommend it at all

Good facilities and spacious. The hosts are very generous and welcoming. The gardens and outlook are very lush and relaxing with great bird life on view from the balcony.

Beautiful place our hosts were very welcoming. Lots of little extras and the breakfast supplied was great. We would go back and stay there again. We loved the fire on a cold rainy night.

Great! I will certainly go back.

The breakfast had everything that you could want and there was more than enough food. The location was great, with easy access to the main shopping centre. Pat & Glenene are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble.

They provided everything you could possibly want for breakfast that we cooked ourselves.

Maybe another option for heating inside as we had trouble keeping the fire going. Otherwise we loved everthing about this property

Friendly owners, peaceful, everything we needed was in the apartment. Fantastic breakfast supplies.

It was a bit cold in the evenings but there were plenty of blankets to keep warm.

Luxurious, cosy extremely clean and the owners are warm and welcoming.

It’s a unique eco property. Really private and cosy. The owners put exquisite touches to the interior and provide fresh local produce and yummies in the kitchen to nibble on.

We had a most enjoyable relaxing stay thanks to Glenene and Patrick's exceptional hospitality.

A wonderful selection of fruit, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, cold cuts and bread were provided for us to prepare for breakfast. All fresh and delicious. The decor in the house was charming and tasteful and Patrick's use of wood in the building of the cottage, beautiful. Glenene and Patrick were wonderful hosts and their helpers, Bobbi and Bentley - the enthusiastic and friendly Rottweilers arrived each morning for their doggy treats. We had a fantastic stay!

Dishonest owners and description of stay

The house is nice and had nice provisions.

The description was dishonest. There was no mention that you are sharing a house with the owners and that you would have less privacy. Not impressed at all when we wanted a getaway on our own. The owners then changed the description after we complained and refused to give a refund as they promised after we left when we realised it was not what was advertised. Very dishonest people.

Bliss at PK Illusions

Had the most relaxing get away at PK Illusions. Such a pretty spot, peaceful and well set up. Glenene and Patrick are the warmest and friendliest hosts you could imagine. The apartment is so clean and comfortable, but our favourite was making a fire each evening and having a drink by the fire. We will be recommending PK Illusions to anyone who is travelling to Maleny and we'll be visiting again too.

Amazing property and hosts, I’ll definitely return and recommend to friends.

Beautiful property, very large, clean with great decor. Fantastic and super friendly hosts who go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a great stay. Lots of lovely little touches like organic bathroom products, huge variety of breakfast foods, and a lovely bottle of wine. Loved everything about PK Illusions!

A beautiful venue including the gardens frequented by native birds - very relaxing. Great location and the best hosts of any stay we’ve experienced.
