Back to basic !!! een prachtige plek midden in de natuur.
Voor de echte avonturiers/ vogelaars is this the place to be!!!!!

Niets!

Cadre magnifique, apaisant, calme.

Rien.

The gardens and setting are just gorgeous. The cabins are rustic and private and peaceful. Perfect destination for something out of the ordinary.
Others have mentioned the road. it didn’t bother me at all but I drove a 4WD. if you drive in from Bijagua it’s just a normal gravel road you can drive in any car. The road is only bad coming from Rio Celeste. So drive through Bijagua you’ll be totally fine. Its well worth the visit !

Very friendly staff. The property is very beautiful, away from the touristy area so you get to relax. And you get to see plenty of animals, birds mostly, passing by. You can also try out the chocolate they produce!

beautiful and peaceful location and kind hosts, everything was super neat and well taken care off.
be aware you cannot pay with card and there is no restaurant for dinner (however the hosts are very helpful advising you for a restaurant and preparing a small snack).

This is a fantastic location to stay at, very peaceful set in beautiful grounds that are well maintained. The flora and fauna are second to none of like myself you are into birdwatching and photography this is a must stay location. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful.
There were no tea and coffee making facilities but this did not detract from my stay.

This is the most fabulous place to stay. We visited 6 years ago and loved it, didn't disappoint on the second occasion.Victor and his wife are such good hosts,. The place is out of the way but worth the drive. Its so beautiful and peaceful and a great place to chill. The accommodation is good. We ate there on the two nights and lovely food and service.
Beds not the most comfortable.

Friendly staff (although no English was very patient with our lack of Spanish), quiet location, cute room with everything required.
Cold water in the shower. The road on one side leading to the hotel is definitely a 4x4 road (as noted by the hotel a 4x4 is recommended)

great location in middle of nature; very clean cabins in a beautiful garden with ponds in front; lots of birds and frogs on daily display. Victor, the host is very helpful and friendly, his wife cooks very good dinners upon request so you don't have to look for restaurants in the evening. Victor is even building a small swimming pool to even improve the premises. Upon Victors suggestion we visited Canu Negra, a beautiful nature resort with lagune with an incredible amount of birds and gators. Also close to the Volcano with its fantastic waterfall

We absolutely loved the quiet setting with the three private cabinas edging the four ponds. The birdlife was wonderful to wake up to and to end the day with. Our hosts were friendly and the shared space was just perfect for breakfast and dinner.
Googlemaps sends you on truly the worst roads possible - but our host was able to direct us to the super easy road that goes directly to the main road into Bijagua. This is not a problem with the sweet cabinas or the owner, it's a problem with relying on Googlemaps, so offering driving directions that can be printed before we arrive would be handy.

The garden is beautiful, the breakfast was simple but delicious et friendly and helpful staff. Their chocolate is amazing (cocoa trees in the garden behind)! Highly recommend to buy and try some

The street from Rio Celeste to Rincon Verde was not easy to drive but the accommodation and the food was perfect.

The property is beautifully kept and the surroundings are peaceful. Many species of birds, including toucans, can be spotted on the grounds, as well as iguanas. Sra. Lizbeth cooks delicious food, and the breakfast was hearty enough to keep us sustained for our 7 km hike through Parque Nacional Volcan Tenorio! Sr. Victor is a gracious host and a good source of knowledge about the area (if you speak Spanish). The cabins are comfortable and are equipped with a little fridge, which is a nice touch. NOTE: do not use Google Maps directions to reach the property, it will take you on a teeth-clenching, potentially rental car destroying ride over a very bumpy, rocky road. Instead, keep going north on Highway 6 after Bijagua, past the gas station and turn right after the El Mirador restaurant. This road is smooth and well graded all the way to Rincon Verde.
A wifi booster would be good so that the signal reaches the cabins, other than that I have nothing negative to say.

Local excellent breakfast, coffee, juice. Perfect accommodation, big bathroom, all clean, owners very friendly and helpful. This place is a paradise on earth. Calm, green, tranquil, peaceful. They produce own chocolate, which you can buy, there is Tenorio National Park with Celeste river nearby, we were walking there, perfect landscape.

The grounds are beautiful! Very peaceful with birds and many flowers
What made this place less than great for me was the horrible road it takes to get here. I have been on many bad roads in my life, in Africa mainly. I have to say that never in my life have I been on a road as bad as the one I had to take to get to this place. I came from Tamarindo and I had to take a horrible rocky road for about an hour to reach this property. Also one other thing is that they only take cash, no credit cards which I was not aware of. Don't attempt to come here without a 4 by 4 vehicle. you won't make it.

These cabins are a bit rustic, no hot water, very firm mattresses, no holder for the toilet paper roll, etc. But if you don't mind a bit of inconvenience the view, sounds & over all experience is truly amazing!

Very clean and comfortable cabins with a great breakfast. Absolutely calm surroundings yet close to the park. Staff is kind and available. There is a nice central patio where we had a very good dinner.
In addition, a little cocoa plantation could be visited. Very interesting!
Without a 4WD difficult to get there on your own.
