El exelente servicio del personal

Nice vibes and atmosphere. Terrific breakfast. The interior has a lot of character.
Included parking could not accommodate our toyota hi-ace van. Did not know this until we arrived. Fortunately there is a secure public parking lot a short walk around the corner. Was a tight fit for the van but made it work.

This place is beautiful! I love the design of the hotel. The staff are extremely nice and helpful! Breakfast was delicious with a few different options to choose from! The location is perfect as many restaurants are within walking distance and the hotel is 5-10 mins from the airport. I would stay here again!
My room was very noisy as it was closer to the street so I asked to move and I changed to a room that was further back. They were really accommodating for this. My booking said I would have a balcony and the room did not have that.

Staff was very attentive, courteous, and friendly.
This was the only hotel which had a bath mat during our stay in various properties and we appreciated that!

This is a beautiful house with a very genuine layout. The property is overall pretty clean.
The breakfast was served by great people who make your stay very nice. The food was simple but really good. The coffee was excellent.
Your car is safe at night!
We had one room giving to the street. It is super loud. We could not sleep until late at night.
The over room was calm.
No AC and in the street side room the fan was also very loud.
The rooms are clean but pretty old and worn out. The beds are very hard and the pillows very firm and high. It wasn’t very pleasant.

We were greeted at the door- helped with our luggage- the room was sufficient, bedside lamps, very clean, attractive, hot water in sink and shower, a bath rug to step on when getting out of shower
Bed was hard, uncomfortable- pillows hard and too big, but I asked for 2 more pillows and the were nice- shower tile on floor very slippery- no place to put your soap and shampoo in the shower

Great location
They lock the doors after hours (10 pm and you can’t leave).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to restaurants.
The wifi is not very strong in the rooms. Entering and exiting the property requires you to wait for the staff to unlock the front door.

The location to the airport is perfect if you need an overnight for flights from SJO. The hotel was very quiet and safe with the free parking "when available" an added bonus. The family that runs the hotel was very helpful. Great to be able to walk around the city center after a long drive the day before flying.

I liked the quirkiness of the hotel and it’s non corporate feel. The sitting areas are tasteful, old fashioned in decor and quiet. Much greenery is incorporated by virtue of open to the air ceilings. Very near the wonderful plaza and cathedral. Also near the market and bus stations.
Rooms are quite simple, often without windows to the outside (which would actually allow more street noise), but they do have interesting skylights.

The building itself is nice and airy. Very comfortable place to relax inside. The architecture is lovely.
I didn't know that I could order breakfast, so I missed it. :(

Perfect place to stay my last night in Costa Rica. this place is an oasis in the midst of the hassle and bustle of Alajuela. I had a lot of hours to burn before my flight home and I’m so grateful I stayed at this hotel as the common areas are so lovely and comfortable! I spent the day reading on one of the sofas next all the plants. the room itself was also very comfortable and clean. in fact the whole place is extremely clean and the owner was lovely and all the staff were very nice and welcoming! I didn’t try the breakfast but I was allowed to use the kitchen facilities (outside breakfast hours) which was really helpful.
no Wifi in the rooms - only in the common areas. also the room I was in didn’t have windows as such so it was quite dark in the room in the morning. Also there were dogs barking very loudly outside my room at night which was very annoying but nothing a pair of earplugs couldn’t solve. additionally the owner has a very annoying chihuahua that wouldn’t stop barking the entire day I spent there!
