I liked the staff treatment, they are very nice and willing to help you out. We arrive quite late at night and they waited for us to arrive to the hostel save. The room was everything we needed with private bathroom and included breakfast, which was the typical Costa Rican breakfast. Also, at the back of the building there is a very nice area to relax.
The kitchen was a little bit small and disorganised. We did not cook, but I would not be confident to do it.

The price was cheap. 5 minute walk to the bus to the airport. Several places to eat around, including a very cheap Soda (1000-3000CRC/meal). Generally cleanly. Room was large. Nice cat who roamed around the property
The washroom did not have a smell diffusion system, so many of the smells seeped into the main room. The walls were not very "soundproof", may want to bring earplugs. Keep in mind that breakfast starts at 7am. Our flight was early, so we were unable to take advantage of this.

We stayed one night close to the airport and were able to check in late after our flight. The bathroom is very big.

The front desk guy was pretty nice
The room in general, it had holes covered with rugs, the bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived, the bed sheets seemed used, the fan did not work properly. The ceiling was covered with a sheet. This is just a place to stay one night if you're traveling somewhere else. Not a place to spend your whole vacations

We really enjoyed this place so much so we just rebooked

We enjoyed the room and the bathrooms. Everything felt clean and cute. The staff were all nice.
The placement was a bit scary arriving at night but in the day it was okay. We only stayed one night so it was fine.

easy to find with a cab
room 5 was accessible without a key (the space between the door jam and the lock were so big we could open the door with a 500 colones coin) people were yelling all night and you could hear the people next door when they went to the toilet. would absolutely not stay again.

Kind hosts, very helpful. I checked in late and the guy on the reception ordered me some food via uber eats 👌. The hotel was clean, they have a kitchen outside with a fridge
My mattress had the best times already behind it should be changed

They did not accept credit cards, although it is required when booking. So if I didn’t show up, they would have charged my card. And when I asked for a receipt, they gave unofficial one with any name or address.
WHERE IS A HOTEL IN 2023, THAT DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS 🧐

Everything is clean and welcoming. We spent 2 nights to go to the vulcano Poas. You can book a tour or go by public buses. The room was good for the two night, nothing fancy but all clean. We liked the little garden where you get breakfast (a lot of fruits, cereals, bread, jam and coffee, tea). It was good for us. Price and performance is good:) it is central to the airport, only 5-10 min by taxi and you can walk to the bus stations

At the time the we’re doing up the courtyard. This did not affect us and it will be beautiful when it is done
