Beautiful location in its own valley. Lovely authentic farmhouse with fantastic views and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
4.7
It was probably the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed! We loved everything about the cosy farmhouse and the gorgeous surrounding mountains.
4.7
The location was wonderful, with views of the mountains and a great sense of isolation from the troubles of the world.
Some aspects of the inside are looking and feeling “tired”. The information booklet about the property needs an update.

Unbelievable remote location with stunning views. Property beautifully furnished and cosy

amazing place as always. fantastic views. beautiful house.
the road is extremely bumpy far worse than it was. think it needs levelling a little. or advise to use 4x4 car etc. I have an Audi and it scraped along the ground a lot. nothing else is bad at all. just be mindful with your car!

Location and house
Toaster a bit erratic!!
4.7
Incredible location, spacious, authentic and unpretentious. A real gem.
The kitchen and appliances needed a thorough deep clean and tidy-up of all pots, pans, tiling and a jolly good clear out of junk and broken pans behind the curtains. A washable turtle mat for in front of the Aga would be better than an old thick dirty rug. Foam toppers on beds just felt a bit odd. But really the kitchen frustrated me. I don’t want to wash up greasy pans from previous guests.

I liked everything. It was amazing. The house was clean, warm and fully equipped. Really comfortable. An amazing place with beautiful views. Peace and quiet. There you can really relax. And while sitting in front of the house you can watch the sunset.

The house is in a huge field ,away from others. You wake up in morning and a sheep is in your garden eating grass. Look outside and see chickens, hens, cows , a true experience of life in a farm!!
The house is huge and renovated beautifully with vintage furniture's. They still have video player!!! and dvd player !!! feels like you are back in time in a good way :). Kitchen is well equipped!. I loved that we had a dryer!!
The roads to the house is very narrow, do not arrive at night time!!!

NOTHING WORKS. EVERYTHING DIRTY & SHABBY. CRAWLING WITH FLIES.
4.7
stunning mountain view, antique furnitures and spacious rooms
many flies in the kitchen area may be caused by the chicken droppings outside the farm, otherwise it’s a very nice place for retreat

Fantastic little bolt hole in the middle of nowhere, sat among the foothills of Skiddaw in the Northern Fells. Very remote with beautiful views and great walking right on your doorstep - it provided the perfect opportunity to switch off and spend a few days in great company
4.7
Fabulously remote farmhouse with outstanding views and great walks from door. Underfloor heating kept it cosy and loads of lovely hot water for those post walk baths! Host friendly but not intrusive. Sainsbury delivery was a bonus - amazed they made it up the long track.
Decor looking a bit tired in some rooms.

Absolutely fantastic location, away from the world surrounded by the wild beauty of the fells and waterfall! Beautiful historic farmhouse, spacious and full of character.

True to the photos and description. Perfectly clean. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you.

The views over to the Bassenthwaite and the sea are superb. The house is convenient eg big dining room next to the kitchen. Granddaughter enjoyed opening the gates on the road!
The electric rings on the Aga were hard to use. The cockerel crowed long and loud at 5.20 am!

Location was stunning; nestled in a remote valley along a gated road and set well away from all other farms or houses. There's everything you need and the bedrooms were very comfortable.
As I'm getting a bit old, a light over the Aga would be really helpful.

Absolutely stunning property. Home from home with the most amazing views 👌🏻everything you could think of for a relaxing break. Extremely friendly owners nothing to much to make sure our stay was a perfect one. The most stunning views. Lovely walk up to the waterfall. Tranquil time spent relaxing in the natural garden watching the busy bees and bullfinches. If your looking for a private brake in the middle of nowhere this is the brake for you. The bath was to die for. Everything placed with love in the house. Bit of a treck up to the house but for us it was all part of the fun and adventure. Will definitely go back in a heartbeat.

The location was absolutely stunning. It really was breathtaking . The most beautiful views and walks straight from the front door.
If you are looking for a remote location away from tourists then this place is perfect
The Farmhouse is so lovely. Plenty of space with large bedrooms and separate lounge area and dinning area.
Wet room was lovely and the underfloor heating a bonus
Really couldn't say anything against the farmhouse. Chickens included ! Owner was lovely and even gave us some fresh eggs . Thank you for a really memorable holiday
Nothing even opening and closing the gates on the lane to the property was not an issue as you could take in the views

The Dash has both character and an incredibly homely feel. It is situated in the most breathtaking place.
