Super close to the beach, nice restaurant at the hostel and around. Breakfast was amazing. Staff super friendly, hostel always clean.

The dorms were spacious, clean hostel, good pool, food was fantastic!
Not enough sun beds for the whole hostel.
Not a very social place so difficult to meet people.
Many of the staff were very unfriendly- always stood around talking to each other and when you asked for something it was like it was an inconvenience.

pool was nice. rooms were cleaned well.
it’s the least soundproof place we’ve been travelling around South America in 6 months. you can literally hear all the conversation next door so makes it hard to sleep. the staff are rude and obviously do not like working there. the wifi is so so bad it barely works. the air con and water kept turning off and when asked they blamed it on the storm but also knew how to turn it on instantly so seems they were keeping it off. overall not worth the money.

nice restaurant onsight, good breakfast, AC working well.
mold in bathroom, never ending noise (first half of the night from restaurant / second half from guest upstairs. But the worst: the management. When we wanted to short our stay we didnt get any money back (they said thats their policy) - no money back guarantee. it was that bad that we left anyways with one night overpaid… Think twice it you want to go there.

The restaurant has good food and selection
We couldn't stay longer

Friendly staff and good location. The pool was a welcome relief.
A pair of Toucans nest in a tree within the property which was nice to see.
The wooden floors and apparently thin walls make the rooms very noisy at night. Anyone walking around above can plainly be heard and any music or conversation in an adjacent room easily overheard.

The proximity to the beach and the free breakfast was good for what it was
The fans in the dorm didn’t rotate so I was dying in a puddle of sweat all night every night. The dorm I was in was on the roadside and was really loud from about 6am. The staff were nice at the start but when I asked for water, which was included, it was like I’d slapped them in the face. And they wouldn’t give me any ice for my tepid water. No common spaces to meet other travellers apart from one pool table with minimal seating around it. No advice on activities or travel. Definitely not hostel vibes, wouldn’t recommend for a solo traveller or anyone under the age of 40 really.

Great location near the beach and a short walk to the main bit of town. Room was spacious and clean. Pool was amazing, we saw iguanas and toucans from it.

Breakfast was very simpel, but totally okay
The hotel needs more sunbeds at the pool

The location is great, very close to the beach and the pool is a great bonus to cool off in. The restaurant has a big menu with awesome pizzas. Room was a good size and they do have a fridge/small kitchen area if needed.
It is very loud, our room was the closest to the restaurant and kitchen and although this quietens down at about 11pm - people would return later on in the night and then leave early for day trips. If you’re in a room away from the restaurant then it wouldn’t be an issue but just wanted to flag this

Nice pool. Good restaurant and good location. Toucans made an appearance in the tree above our room - worth the money for that alone.

Friendly staff
Facilities are just average. Restaurant next to it played horribly loud music late at night, it was like you would be sleeping on top of the speaker.

Good location- a few minutes to beach, a quarter of an hour from the main road, nice swimming pool, tasty food, the rooms good enough.
Internet connection only close to reception, english very poor.

The room was very nice and clean.
The hotel is behind a restaurant with lots of trees surrounding the common areas. It was nice but the grounds and pool needed more frequent cleaning.
The staff also speak very fast in Spanish so it was hard to communicate even though we speak a bit of Spanish.

good location, nice property and room service did a great job, big choice in the menu
if you are looking for a quite property then this might not be for you - loud music from around 8AM non-stop until 11PM (every day), if you have a room close to the pool then you hear the music a lot and also people in the pool can be heard easily, same goes if you have a room above yours - you can here people walk and move around

the staff is really nice. pool is great. breakfast is good (and food in general)
the noise. the dorm is right above the restaurant, and by the street. there isn’t a proper roof so you’re basically in the street, which makes it really hard to sleep before midnight and after 7am. also anyone walking on the floor makes it vibrate so it wakes you up. the kitchen hasn’t been used in forever so very dirty. not social at all, I wouldn’t recommend it to a solo traveller (unless you’re looking for some quietness, but in that case I would recommend a single room)

Overall good place. Spacious room, nice pool, nice pizzas, cold beer.
1. The second evening the electricity fell out, they used an electrical plant to compensate. We booked a room with AC, which didn't work until 10pm that night. I went to tell them that our AC didn't work and they explained me about the electrical plant, that AC's don't work when using the electrical plant (I simply thought electricity was up and running again). There were only 3 rooms with AC I think and we were the only guests in one of them. What bothered me is that none of the personnel informed us about AC's not working when using the electrical plant which seems basic service and respect towards the guests. But mostly: nobody offered us a ventilator nor was there 1 already present in the room being prepared for situations like this that occur all the time. And of course, we paid extra to have AC, then this should be guaranteed. Not even having a ventilator in this region is not acceptable. 2. None of the personnel ever asked during our 2-night-stay if we liked our breakfast or dinner. When checking out we didn't get asked either what we thought about our stay, the positives and the things that could be better. 3. The (included) breakfast was not the best and only had 3 choices, better you like to eat eggs as well (which I don't). 4. The internet in our room was very poor, did work very well in the common area though. 5. Easily 20 minutes wait for a cocktail or a juice, happened each and every time, with no other guests around.

It is very close to the beach.
Something must be done about the mosquitoes. Fumigation and regular control.
