The apartment is a part of a renovated barn, large surface, well furnished. One bedroom with a double bed, a mezzanine with another double bed and a large sofa that can accommodate up to two people for sleeping. The apartment is well equipped. Possibility to put the heating on when it is cold. The terrace has a large table and light to eat outside. The apartment is located behind the staff house. Very nice accommodation. The staff is kind and warm.

The apartment overlooks the parking lot consisting of three parking spaces, not enough since depending on the arrival, it is necessary to park along the hedges. But there is still a place to park. The maneuver still requires an effort. Without a curtain, people have a view on the living room of the apartment when they pass. The apartment also has a view of the subway tracks that pass by regularly. As a group of young people, the noise didn't bother us much, but I think it's necessary to talk about it in order to warn the families who don't want to neglect their peace. The bedding needs a little refreshing. Some duvets/mattresses with wear spots. The cleaning is not perfect but acceptable to our taste.

Absolutely gorgeous location near the water, very friendly hosts, beautifully decorated place which - like others have pointed out - the photos do not do justice. Plus points for the big and comfortable couch and the lovely terrace area!

The combination of late check-in at 16:00 and early check-out at 10:00 plus a high fee of 10 euros p.p. for sheets + towels plus 5 euros p.p. per hour for late check-out really decreased the value for money.

Disappointing, neglected surroundings and unfresh

The description and reviews talk about nice garden but it has been completely neglected. It feels and looks like it has been abonded and starts to look like a junkyard... really dissapointing. The house had no views except for the parking lot. Some spiderwebs and insects in the house , plus a dull smell made us decide to not spend the night anymore as we had different expectations when spending this amount of money.....

An absolutely lovely summer weekend at Hannahoeve.

We stayed in one of the Paardenstal apartments. Everything was clean, tidy and perfectly decorated. Each rental has its own private garden/ hang out area and there is access to a riverside fire-pit and swimming area across the road from the property. The kitchen was well stocked with basics needed for cooking, rooms were comfortable and they had fans for each room. We really appreciated the recycling station, fresh flowers and thoughtful extras in the house as well. We brought our own linen and towels, but those could be rented from the property for 10 euro per person, which is really convenient in the time of Covid. This place is an eco-friendly hidden gem, well worth discovering. The amount of effort, love and care put in to the property by the owners is awesome and has to be seen to be believed, the photos really do not do it justice.
