A good location close to the beach with a view. comfortable beds, clean room. We have stayed at Casa Danna a few times. Nice pool.
Unfortunately there was no coffee maker or fridge in room. The kitchen opens late at 7:30 or 8:00 am so don’t expect coffee if you are an early riser.

The beds were comfortable and the staff were good. The pool was nice once it was cleaned. The laundry service was excellent. Christian and Nick were accommodating. Thank you!
The towels didn't smell fresh until later in the stay.
There were no drawers or shelves for your clothes in the room. There was no mirror in the main room to help you with dressing. There was one plastic chair in the room - we had to fight for a second but couldn't get a table. The fan in the bathroom didn't work.
The pool was lovely once cleaned but not one cushion in sight. Your choices of seating were bare wrought iron, concrete or lounge chairs that were horribly uncomfortable.
Breakfast was very inconsistent. The juices were thinned out so much that they were called orange water or watermelon water, etc. Buffets were offered when the hotel was full but choices were limited when the hotel was slow. I finally gave up and ordered only fruit and granola. Even those servings shrank to a small bowl.
They awarded themselves as a 3 star. In reality they barely warrant a 2 star rating. Sadly, management is lacking.

We had a room with two very comfortable queen sized beds. The breakfast was plentiful each morning and great service. The pool was great for cooling off on returning to the hotel each day from our visits around Huatulco. The off-road parking was convenient
Not all rooms have a fridge however we asked for one when we arrived and they promptly had maintenance bring us one to our room which was perfect for us.

The pool and hammocks are perfect for when you need to escape the heat. The view of the ocean is lovely. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioning helped ensure a good night sleep
On the weekend, the loud music from one of the clubs goes on most of the night.

The pool was great for cooling off after a walk around town or a change from the nearby beach. Room had both fan and air conditioning available and we used both. Slept well with just the fan going at night and the window open. Quiet room facing away from the street so traffic noise didn't bother us. Breakfast was included with the room so it was a buffet that was certainly ample but you can also order from a menu. Parking lot had plenty of spaces for cars. Lots of places to walk in the early morning and evening around the hotel when it's not too hot. We mostly ate around Santa Cruz beach since a lot of restaurants are there and we wanted to walk from the hotel. But there are other beaches that are prettier such as Playa Chahue.
Everything was fine. There is some construction planned for March so it may become noisy during the day.

Comfortable rooms, good air conditioning, good WiFi, nice pool, excellent, compassionate staff... particularly Chabely and her boss. My wife came down with an unexpected case of sciatica, and needed aid. She was met with genuine concern, and they ultimately helped arrange for a masseuse to come to the hotel. It's nice to get help when you are in need.
The breakfast was a bit overpriced for what was served.

The staff are great people and very accommodating. The room was comfortable , pool was great, location very good.
The hotel needs a couple ice machines and a small fridge at least in the rooms. A small comfortable chair would be nice also

We just spent almost 3 weeks at the Casa Danna hotel. Niko and his staff are amazing! The hotel is very clean with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a beautiful pool area. We requested a fridge and safe for our stay. Kudos to Niko and all his staff, especially Chabely, May, Valentine, Ezequel, and Rosa for the incredible VIP service and the feeling of being part of their family. Breakfast was delicious. Location was fantastic, with a short walk to Playa Chahue, Santa Cruz, or La Crucecita. Highly recommend Casa Danna and will definitely return! We miss you already❤️

the location is fantastic for exploring the towns of Santa Cruz and La Crucecita. lots of restaurants , a nice beach and major store all within easy walking distance. the room was very modern and nice, bigger than some resorts we have stayed at, and was exceptionally clean every day ! two big thumbs up for our housekeeper Rosy, we can see why she was an all star employee. the pool is beautiful and cool , with sun and shade options all day.
the only real drawbacks we found were ;
- the lack of a full time onsite restaurant (they are currently building one)
- one of the front desk staff didn’t seem very friendly to non nationals…. we went down for breakfast early one day and she informed us that it didn’t start till 8 … so we went elsewhere. the next day we were down at 830 and she told us breakfast was over … despite the people still being served.
one other point to mention, not a negative per se, but it’s a great place to work on your Spanish as few staff speak much English. we found between our poor Spanish, their poor English and both parties using google translate , things all worked out !

I changed rooms on the next which had a view of the pool and balcony. The room also had a fridge which was ideal for Keeley water cool.
the very comfortable bed.

clean and very comfortable… nice pool and they will do a veggie option for breakfast for you.
no bar! very odd, so couldn’t buy a drink to sit by pool - you can bring a beer in from a shop (none close) but was odd that they are losing the chance to make some money.

Very clean, great AC and powerful shower. Reception staff didn’t speak that much English but still managed to order takeaway for us and get an early morning airport cab.
The Wi-Fi kept dropping out. We also heard a lot of noise from the pool (we had a ground floor room) and a nearby club at night.

Staff was super friendly especially Manuel at the front counter. My husband and I would ask him for recommendations of places to eat and visit and Manuel was nice enough to write a list of places to eat and places to see. Very happy with Manuel’s customer service
Breakfast was ok I would have liked to see more pancakes they ran out fast and didn’t refill pancake tray. Also would have like to see breakfast sausage and bacon and muffins.
