Lacks atmosphere and the photos are deceiving

The location was good but that's about it. We didn't like this hostel and would not recommend staying here.

The photos of this hostel are massively deceiving, the rooms are not nice as they appear to be in the photos. We were disappointed with our room and the hostel has no vibe, not a good place to meet people. The shared bathroom is between 2 bedrooms -and it has two doors to enter so that was strange.

Nice place, good location would recommend.

Well equipped kitchen with a nice outside courtyard space. Had good wifi for working and helpful staff. On Thursdays there’s a salsa class on the terrace you can join which was a lot of fun.

Nothing really, the room had a hanging space but no hangers. This didn’t bother us though

Pleasant

Flowers, patio, location, security of place and rooms, kitchen, linens and towels.

Mold in room and bathrooms, room floor needed to be cleaned, and lots of stains on room walls - place needs a regular deep clean and some paint

Relaxing, Quiet, Fun

Clean throughout. Good communal space Nice location. Very relaxing Colour co-ordination of Yellow and White was lovely

2 pillows each would have been nice or at least a much larger pillow as the one each that we had was quite thin.

Disappointing

It is nice home place but so many inconveniences the WC to far from my room I had to pass by the main patio to get it if it is raining day you will be trapped in your room. The shower pressure is poor and problems flashing the toilet. In my room there was just one out and blocked by the mattress between the lamps and my devices was really hard to use that properly. They provide me a fan I could not used that because the only one outlet.

The hostel surroundings really brightened up our visit... so many cool chill-out areas all around.

Our hostess, Mariana was super nice and helpful. The internet was quick. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfy. The kitchen was well-stocked. The location was convenient: walking distance to the Centro. We highly recommend this place.

The barbed-wire on the roof was a bit daunting and ugly but alas, not the fault of Casa Canaria... more of a statement of the city itself.

Relaxing place to stay, especially if you are independent travellers.

Lovely outdoor areas including a roof terrace.

We didn't see or meet any reception staff in all three days. We only saw the cleaner.
