- The vibe throughout this hotel was very ZEN
- The breakfast buffet and dinner options were amazing
- The in-house yoga studio is the perfect way to stretch, breathe and to help you to acclimatise to the altitude (at a small fee paid directly to the class instructor)
- Every night, the staff bring warm tea to help you acclimatise to the altitude and hot water bottles, in addition to the cleaning done throughout the day.
- You can ask the front desk for a breakfast pack if you have an early morning pick-up for a tour that goes to Machu Picchu or Rainbow Mountain.
Soundproofing – however, I read a lot of feedback for other hotels when booking, and these also mentioned negative feedback around the soundproofing of rooms – so it sounds like it's not very commonplace to have soundproofing with the traditional buildings in Cusco, in general. Despite this, I really appreciated Antigua Casona's attempts to introduce white noise, such as running water via a fountain outside, and playing spa-like music in the hallways, to create a sense of calm and to reduce overhearing your neighbours chatting in bordering rooms.
Also, the fact that we didn't spend more TIME here – this is such a great place to stay!!

Absolutely beautiful decoration, enjoyed every corner of this wonderful hotel. Very kind and professional stuff. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Would come back always when in Cusco

Everything was perfect!

Location, staff, structure, restaurant, the attention to detail, is well above average, especially for a small boutique hotel in in the mountains of South America.
Very well done.
Nothing, I am possibly one of the pickiest people on this planet, I could not find anything I would change, attention to detail is well above average, especially for a small boutique hotel in in the mountains of South America.
Very well done.

From when you check in to when you check out, it has been a pleasant experience with all the staff. They are always smiling and making you feel comfortable. One of the best customer service I’ve experienced at a hotel and I’ve stayed at a lot of places around the world! Edwin and Victor specifically I remembered were always kind and greeting you. Breakfast was delicious! I wouldn’t have minded paying for it but it’s included with your stay. The rooms are clean. Every night they give you tea and a heat pads. They have oxygen tanks too if needed. Location was great as well. 10/10 would recommend to anyone staying in Cusco. Well exceeded expectations.
Nothing to complain about

Everything was top notch. The staff was amazing and so helpful!! We needed help with booking taxis, an early morning breakfast to take to machu pichu. They did all this for us. We did not speak Spanish they stepped in for any communication that we needed. When we go back to Cusco we will be staying at this location again.
Could not have asked for a better place and location.

Such a pleasant stay! We loved everything at this hotel!
It was super clean and smelled very nicely everywhere creating a great welcoming atmosphere.
Restaurant was great - lots of healthy and delicious choices.
The courtyard area was a very special place where we met a lot of interesting people (fellow travelers) and spent a great time sitting by the fire and exchanging stories.
We've traveled quite a bit all over the world and stayed at numerous different hotels, but never ever have we been given bed warmers every night! What a lovely touch! Also, every evening we found a fresh tea in our room.
We've traveled to Peru a day after presidential impeachment and the national emergency had been declared due to the protests, closing Cusco airport. Our plans had been derailed as we couldn't get out of Cusco and had to stay longer. I wanted to say a special thank you to the staff for being super sensitive and attentive to all the guests.1000s of requests came your way from all the guests (calling different airlines booking/rebooking tickets) and you have managed to help everyone while remaining calm and keeping all guests updated on any new information. In addition the hotel gave us discount on food and drinks and didn't charge us the full amount for the extra time we've stayed their due to the airport closure.
Overall, we were very happy to be able to book last available room at this hotel! It was our one the most pleasant stays
!
There is nothing to dislike - overall perfect stay.

we liked prety much everything, from the service and the attention of the staff, the food, to the place itself

Amazing hotel! Delight! In the evening in Cuzco, the temperature always drops very much and there is always a hot water bottle and an alpaca blanket in the room. It's very homey. The service is at the highest level. Excellent location. Very stylish breakfasts, everything is packed in special jars. Everything looks very branded and everything is of excellent quality! I heartily recommend this hotel to everyone.

Everything. Aesthetic, quality of rooms and amenities, and staff. It's simply a beautiful hotel being attended to by an equally beautiful staff.
Be aware that the (beautiful) herringbone stone floors in the rooms will transmit sounds from rooms above you.

Beautiful spacious room, delicious breakfast, lovely staff
A little bit of a walk from the city plaza but not too far.

very comfortable, clean, great breakfast, nice ambiance, good location, service great.
A little warm in the room & without a screen in balcony door we felt we couldn’t leave it open at night.
