Superbe vue, hôtel bien situé
Personnel du petit déjeuner peu aimable et petit déjeuner restreint. Nous avons vu à posteriori que nous avions payé 20 euros de plus que le montant prévu sur booking.com

10/10 accommodation, from the first welcome until the chosen room, everything as portrayed in the pictures. Helpful and -always ready- staff, reception, breakfast and room service as kind and prepared as you can only imagine. The beds are extremely comfortable, room as spacious and well equipped and cleaned bathrooms (the ones you need after the long excursions).
The price overall was fair, including the nicest breakfast on the amazing top floor with a view over the rooftops of Cusco (and literally, walking distance from any spot).
Congratulations, you made the experience truly wonderful .

Really enjoyed how nice the staff was. They were always so helpful and kind. They were willing to support and provide directions or any other service.
The location isn’t very central. Though it is closed to the Plaza de Armas, it is very much on a hill. After long days with tours and such, it becomes very challenging to climb up.

We loved that the hotel was far enough away from the “hustle and bustle” of the main square but close enough that it was very walkable - about a 10 min walk down. The San Blas area where the hotel is located has lots of great gems for food and shopping.
We also enjoyed breakfast with many options. The room was large, beautifully decorated and beds were very staff were courteous and helpful.
At first the internet didn’t reach our room, but once we let staff know, they provided us with a router and it solved the problem.

Location and neighborhood was perfect, breakfast was fresh, delicious with variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, cereal, condiments, made to order eggs. The staff was exceptional!! Friendly, kind, helpful, accommodating. A beautiful, charming, well cared for hotel with lovely people.
Nothing could have been better. Highly recommend Tariq Boutique!

Lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location. Walkable to the main areas and lots of eateries near by. Nice size room and bathroom and both very clean. Breakfast was plentiful. We stayed here before and after our 4 day inca trek. Staff were great especially Fiorella who helped sort our booking as we arrived in Cusco a day later than planned due to bus problems. We were also able to leave our luggage here while we were on the trek.
One minor thing, the rooms felt very cold and Fiorella and her team were able to provide a heater and extra blanket to keep warm.

I loved the comfortable rooms, breakfast was plentiful and views and location perfect. Staff were most helpful.
Bread was a little dry, especially when making a take away breakfast.

The view of Cusco city from the room was definitely the highlight. The staff was very responsive. Communication via whatsapp prior to arrival was very much appreciated and we could even get them to help us organize a day tour as well as a late check out. There is a communal area where you could get filtered water, coffee and tea anytime you need. The area has a view of Cusco city too. The room has good space and the bed was very comfortable.
As per everyone comments, please be aware of the hike to the hotel. It is something to consider if you are struggling with altitude or have big baggage but that's how you can get the view.
The room gets a bit warm during the day and there is no AC so we need to make sure the window is open to let air circulate. The toilet paper is more like a paper towel which was a bit rough. Our booking includes breakfast but since our tour started at 4am, we were told they will pack us breakfast boxes but that morning when i asked someone said it was sent to the tour agency but they were not aware of it.

The view from my room and the breakfast
That it was uphill and you just could reach it walking.

Originally only booked this hotel for 3 out of our 6 days in Cusco. After the first day, we knew we just HAD to extend. The hotel has a very good vibe, it is very pretty and had very nice common areas, the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, the view from the room and breakfast area were phenomenal but what wins you over is the staff. Anyone you interacted with was amazing, friendly and helpful, from the front desk, to the breakfast clerk, to the cleaning staff. It is located in San Blas which means it is like a 5-7min walk uphill to get there but it is soooo worth it. The views are even better than some of the lookouts we went to. The area around the hotel was super safe during the day and night + there is staff available 24hrs. It is within a few blocks from restaurants, pharmacy, mini markets and laundry. We were also able to leave our luggage there while we went on a overnight tour. Oh and they offered complimentary water, coffee and coca leaves available 24hrs. Would recommend to everyone!
Everything was great!

super clean, friendly staff, yummy breakfast, assisted with washing, good English from some staff, other staff were good at using translate apps, understanding of changing schedules, gave us a heads up on protests, packed us take away breakfast on days we had tours! opened all doors for us and carried all of our very heavy bags!!
I loved it here!

The entire staff is SO SWEET and they make you feel at home! Massages in the room. Also opt for a room with a view. Daily cleaning, they bring you coca tea when you arrive because trust me when you arrive, you will need the tea, and a nap. I can’t thank you guys enough! Centrally located, 10 min walk to the central square and plenty of restaurants around. The wifi is popping and so is the breakfast. They always have fresh water and tea available in the kitchen. They do laundry super quick (they have a dryer) and my clothes came back perfect. They can bring a heater to your room if it gets cold (small but powerful heater). Towels and body products are luxurious. Really reasonable prices like 2 soles for a shirt. Airport pickup was great and they helped us book a table for NYE. You can simply message them on WhatsApp if you need anything 24/7. They keep the door locked and front desk staffed around the clock so it’s super secure. Super affordable and wait, did I tell you about the view?! 🤩

Loved our stay here.
A bit more expensive than other hotels, but super large rooms with all the needed facilities.
We came here after our trekking of 5 days and had the best room to relax and view the city of Cusco.

Was a fabulous find! Tariq Hotel is one of those rare little gems that meets and exceeds all my requirements. It is a small, intimate hotel with very personalized service, on a quiet pedestrian street in the old town area close to many restaurants, shopping, stores, laundry, and the main square. The room had fabulous views over the city and many windows to let in all the light. The local décor and photos complimented the comfy bed and sitting area. We had 5 nights in total here (3 before hiking the Inca Trail, and 2 after) and the staff went out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met: airport transfers, luggage storage, post hike massages, and general assistance. The facility is beautiful with many sitting areas, endless tea and potable water, and the friendliest staff in all of Cusco! Thank you so very much for making our journey such a success! This is where I will stay any time I come to Cusco!
At one point during our stay, the hot water was out, but it was still warm enough to shower.
The hotel is on a pedestrian street on the hill. Some people may find the walk to the hotel and the many stairs within the hotel problematic (no elevator). As we were hiking the Inca Trail, we considered this good training!

Team at the reception was very confusing.
They forgot to book our transfer to the airport and our transfer to ollantaytambo.
Also needed to change room, because the bathroom was stinky.

Fantastic views over Cusco, comfy bed, good breakfast.
Need to walk up from city centre to reach ( although this is also what gives the amazing views).
Some noise from an overhanging bar, but most of noise cut out when doors and windows closed.

The rest of the property was very nice and the views of the city was great. Breakfast was adequate, fresh water available at all times, and our room was fairly clean.
The photos of the room we booked on Booking.com did not match the room we received. The room we received was smaller and not as nice as what was advertised, and the receptionist said we should bring that up with Booking.com. He was not able to give us a new room since the hotel was fully booked, and he did not offer any other things to make up for our disappointment. Also, we went out for a few hours upon arrival and when we came back, the door to our room was wide open and the lights were on. We obviously did not leave it this way. It turns out one of the housekeepers came in and then forgot to shut and lock the door, which made us very upset. Luckily none of our belongings were stolen, but again this was just another reason that made our stay unhappy.
