The structure is close to the city centre, just 10 minutes walking from the university. The room was clean and with all the necessary services.
The room was very little, in the mansard, with not much space for the beds, especially if you have to go the toilet during the night.
There is no elevator.
You have to prepare your own breakfast in a common room, cooking and finding all the necessary by yourself in the kitchen. You also have to wash dishes next.

Well situated in Coimbra. Common kitchen with all you needed for breakfast.
Communication for self check-in could have been quicker. Difficulty receiving check-in link. Only one exit in case of emergency.

Pleasant structure located in a strategic position for those who want to visit the University of Coimbra and the historical centre. The kitchen is well furnished and equipped and also has a pleasant outdoor space.
The bathroom was a bit small but absolutely functional. Very comfortable beds. Excellent Wi-Fi signal. The whole structure is well heated
Total lack of staff within the facility. I had not been advised that an access code would be sent to me, by mail, shortly before check-in time. Also our room was not accessible as the key had been left inside with the door closed. We had to wait for the arrival of an employee only after contacting the Booking.com assistance service as the telephone number of the structure was not active.

Clean comfortable room with opening window for fresh air, good wifi signal, really good water pressure in the shower, lots of cupboard/wardrobe space, good location. 1st floor shared kitchen/dining area with food, kitchen facilities, outdoor terrace was nice.
Room was slightly cramped for 2 adults. Didn't enjoy heaving our cases up to the 3rd floor!

Spacious rooms
Well provisioned kitchen was excellent
Very nice kitchen/lounge area directly off of a gorgeous terrace with 3 cats.
Cool old building with lots of character.
Washing machine (we needed it at this point in our trip).
Temperature was FREEZING and we were asked not to adjust the cooling because it affected other guest rooms.
We were at the top of the stairs, so that was not fun, but to be expected in an old building.

10 out of 10. Very clean, wonderful decoration with all nice details, generously kitchen is full with fruit, veggies, drinks, cereals, cookies, coffee, tea etc. Staff is very friendly. I did not feel I am staying in guest house, I felt at home. Also, location is in middle of nice square, where you can find lots to eat, drink, entertainment.

The garden in back was superb.
Everything was pretty ok. I can't say I had any complaints.

I have been travelling through Spain and Portugal for three months staying in different types of venues: hotels, apartments, shared spaces. I was concerned about a hostel type experience, but this eas a pleasant surprise. The best meeting experiences of my entire trip. Thanks to the shared kitchen! Plus a great value. Beautiful facility. Loved the terrace/ patio / back yard!
Tea bags ! Bad brand, smelled moldy.

Very clean, well decorated and stylish apartments. A well-organized space creates the feeling that the room is much larger than it really is. There is a common guest area, home-friendly and well-equipped. It is a pity that we stayed here only for one night and did not have time to spend more time in it. As well as on the terrace outside, where barbecue areas are equipped, as far as I could see. The location of the apartments allows you to walk to the center of Coimbra with different routes and on each of them you can see something interesting and authentic. I would like to stay here again if I was touring Portugal. This is a top!

Really nice stay, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, great position at 5/10 minutes on foot from the principal things to see in Coimbra. We appreciated the online check in, they gave us a code number for the access to the building, and the staff we talked to via whatsapp and email has been very friendly.

Great location, free parking and easy walk to university / medieval area. Clean, comfortable and loved the loft windows. Good communication with host.
Very noisy at night possibly due to pub next door or market across the street - noise went on until 5am.

Located right above a bar/disco, so was woken up by loud music from below. Very hard to sleep, even with earplugs. Other than that, very nice.

Excellent hosts. Nice kitchen and
commons. Mostly quiet room (very slight bass reverb from nearby club). Good selection of local restaurants. Close to college.
Postage stamp bathroom forced me to sit at 30 degree angle to make knees fit. I could feel every spring in the mattress.

We booked the "triple" accommodation, which consisted of one room with a double bed and another with a single bed. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The location was good, subject to the comments in "dislikes".
There may have been some sort of festival going on in Coimbra at the time - certainly we could hear the thumping of "music" all night long. We probably did not read the property description well enough, but we thought that the accommodation would be more self-catering. We found it a bit odd that, while there was a fridge and a microwave, there was no crockery, cutlery or glassware of any description - one had to go down to the communal kitchen for that - in our case, three floors down. There was no working corkscrew in the kitchen, which was irritating. There is no lift in this property which, as elderly people, we found a bit of a trial, being on the top floor! This could have been pointed out in booking.com's website information.

Absolutely wonderful stay in Coimbra which exceeded my expectations. Such an elegant and classy room with high ceilings, wonderful balcony and shared kitchen & backyard. I felt like in my own dream house. :) Location is also great - in the heart of the city and with free parking near. Everything felt super clean, qualitative, cozy and beautiful. I really enjoyed the historical touch and design details. Thank you! Also an unexpected kithenette (actually full on kitchen) in the room was great bonus as we could prepare our dinner plate in our room. Great place, highly recommend!

The room was very complete with a small kitchenette with refrigerator, a big wardrobe and a desk. The bed was decent. Because of the location in the center of the city you do not need a car to visit the most interesting places. In spite of being located on a very busy square with lots of bars, the room was quiet, so no problems to sleep at night. And even though it was hot outside, the temperature in the room was not too high so we did not need the air conditioning
The bathroom and the shower in particular were very small. Due to the location in the city center, it is sometimes difficult to find a spot for the car

Restaurants, bars and cafés in area dominated by students drinking.

Great hotel in the city centre. The room had everything you need including the fridge and a microwave. Clean and tidy.
