The location is perfect, and Julia is very kind and friendly. We arrived after the check-in hours and she didn't put any problem. Our room was very clean and quiet, the bathroom looked renovated. There's a kitchen you can use. And it was the cheapest place in town.
Nothing at all.

Close to the city center of Velas, this is a nice Hostel-like B&B. Very friendly and helpful host Julia. Spotlessly clean place. Next supermarket only a one-minute walk away.
Could not get much sleep in my first night. Other younger inhabitants of the B&B were very noisy and disrespectful all evening, through midnight and in morning hours. This hostel or B&B has a shared kitchen, veranda, sitting room, etc., which I could not use or enjoy at all, since others were sick, caughing, and not wearing a mask at all. After I reminded Julia of what is going on in her place, she stayed there herself through the following nights, to get things under control. The hostel and the host are great, if only some inhabitants were respectfull as well.

Great guesthouse, clean, well-located. Excellent quality for the price. The host Julia is very friendly and accomodating.

This was a really nice place to stay in Velas. Julia was really friendly and helpful, the room was bigger then expected, everything was very clean (and cleaned every day), (shared) kitchen was well equipped. All in all, excellent value for the money.
The bed was quite loud (creaking) and too soft for my taste. Some of the neighbours were quite loud and there isn't any soundproofing of the room.

Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owner kindly let me check in at 10 am. It had a nice outside area and access to a kitchen. Very good wifi
There were a number of teenage boys living there who left the kitchen untidy, I'm not certain who tidied it up. The washing machine was expensive, €15, to use

The host was very friendly and helpful. We also liked to have a private bathroom, our room was very clean. Also, the location of the property is great, it's located in the city center with a short walking distance to a supermarket and the natural swimming pools.
Nevertheless, there were a few things that really bothered us during our stay in Azores dreams. First of all, the mattresses were old, uncomfortable, and they should be replaced. What bothered us the most was that there were 5-7 male high school students staying in the hotel who occupied the kitchen shirtless for hours. We didn't feel like we had any privacy because the high school students also used the terrace in front of our only window a lot. We didn't know where we could put our food because also fridge was occupied by stuff from the high school students. There were signs everywhere of things you can't do, so you don't really feel welcomed. It was the only place where we stayed where we were not allowed to take the towels outside.
We are sorry for the owner and host who is really friendly, but for us we cannot recommend the hotel.

This was my second stay in AzoresDream. In my favourite room I feel already like at home. Julia and her husband are perfect hosts. In this house you will have everyting you need. Rooms are simple and perfectly clean. In the common area there is a kitchen and fridge.
I like the location of the house. Velas is rather small so from the house you will have short distance to all main points: the port, the natural swimming area, church and restaurants. Do not miss the lovely public garden of Velas. I can recommend Azores Dream and I hope I will have opportunity to come back one day to SaoJorge island and sleep again in my favourite room. Thank you Julia!
If anyone dream about Azores I think I can even be already your guide ;) It is place worth to visit. Find me and I will show you the magic :)

Julia is a wonderful host. She's very engaged to help the costumers to have a great stay in Sao Jorge. She's very responsible and easy-going at the same time.
The hostel feels like a home. It's easy to socialize with other travelers there. It has a clean kitchen and a very beautiful balcony with Pico view.

The owner was really kind and helpful. She showed us what to see and set us up with friend of hers for scooter.
The room is really small and there is no AC.

The house has some simple rooms. Mine was a three beds room, which has not too long beds and little desk, chair and a wardrobe. The room was quiet. Wifi works in the room. The common kitchen is well-equipped.
The room is small for three people, but enough for one or two. The pillow was very puffy for me and the lenght of the bed is short for most people.

The best value for money deal during my stay in my 5-island trip of the Azores. A very friendly family run guesthouse. It was so kind that they picked me up from the harbour late at night!

Julia and her husband are amazing, they picked me up from the ferry, helped with my luggage and arranged a great deal with a car rental. My bathroom was new and everything is very clean. My room had a nice view to Pico island. And there is a terrace with a great view to Pico island outside.
The walls are a bit thin, you can hear the other guests. I missed a little bit a nice place to eat inside, the kitchen is a walk-trough room and has no window, but most people have breakfast in a Cafe nearby anyway.
