Fantastic stay in Quito!

This B&B was in a perfect location for finding restaurants and other amenities. The view was amazing; you look out over the hillsides of the city and can see the Cotopaxi volcano on a clear day and the TelerefiQ cable car. The bedrooms were spacious. Breakfasts were perfect with fresh fruit and rolls. Elena and Alberto were so friendly and helped us with dinner recommendations and suggestions for museums to visit. They really helped make our visit to Quito so much more meaningful. Alberto even helped me with my efforts to learn Spanish. So very happy we stayed here!

Exceptional

The host couple Alberto & Elena are very nice & accommodating. Their penthouse is clean with an amazing view of the city and it is surrounded with good eats walking distance not to mention that popular cafe/bakery where everything is fresh. Their place is safe too, there is a security guard 24/7 & a police station across the building. I would definitely recommend this PH to people going on vacation to Quito.

High class apartment. The couple who hosts are very nice and helpful.

A lot of noise at nihht from the street below, especially on the weekend. If you're a light sleeper I don't recommend. Except for that it was perfect.

Beautiful views and charming hosts -- close to everything

The owners and the view are the two best reasons to stay here. Big windows overlook the city and on a clear day you have a great view of Cotopaxi. Alberto and Elena are charming. I left feeling like they were a dear Aunt and Uncle (although they're not old enough to actually be that to me). The decor is very attractive and welcoming. Lovely continental breakfast provided in the dining room each morning. Fresh fruit and baked goods, coffee or tea, juice, good butter & jam.

There are only two rooms available for guests (which is great). I stayed in the smaller of the two which was fine for just me but when I return with my spouse, I'll want the larger room.

Elena and Alberto were most hospitable and happy to answer any questions that we had. The fresh fruit, rolls, granola and coffee for breakfast every day was wonderful! Beautiful home and amazing views!

Very friendly, thoughtful and accommodating hosts, relaxing and quiet space, nice breakfast and great location with access to nearby neighbourhoods and areas.

No general waste bin in the room - this could be useful for guests - just as a small observation.

Fabulous stay, we recommend without hesitation!

This penthouse B&B was fabulous, a perfect choice for our family of 5 during our 2 night stay in Quito on our way to the Galapagos. It is centrally located, safe, beautifully decorated with taste and has a fabulous view of the city as depicted in the pictures. We were served a healthy breakfast and the hosts were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. They were quite sweet and went above and beyond to help out when we forgot a small bag with valuable items (including our passports and cash!!!) in our taxi; in the end the building security was able to locate the taxi company and our items were safely returned.

On a few occasions we had luke warm water while showering, perhaps when the demand for hot water in the building was at its highest.

The perfect place in Quito with kindest hosts

Albert and Elena's lovely penthouse was the perfect place for our first visit to Quito. The building is located in Mariscal Sucre making it a close walk to a range of great restaurants and cafes, and then a nice walk or easy taxi to the historic district. Their loft is clean and beautifully decorated, with lovely art throughout. Our room was exactly what we needed for an enjoyable stay, with plenty of storage, a private bathroom, and most importantly a comfortable bed. The most wonderful part of our stay though was Albert and Elena. They were both so gracious and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable and providing us with fantastic breakfasts each morning. We do not speak much Spanish so regrettably weren't able to converse with them more, but the interactions we had were wonderful and we are grateful for their kindness.

Penthouse Gem with a View

Our stay was wonderful. The home was fabulous with a wonderful view of Quito. Breakfast each morning was freshly prepared and included fruit, croissants, coffee and juice. Our hosts communicated with us before arrival and gave great directions and landmarks for our cab driver. The location was very easy to find. Our rooms was very comfortable and the private bath was well stocked. We definitely recommend and would stay again on a future trip.

Home away from home

I can’t speak highly enough about our stay here. We have booked ourselves in for another night it’s so good. The place is immaculate and beautiful with breathtaking views in a prime location. There has been a lot of thought put behind everything offered to you such as toiletries, and the delicious breakfast. Its very safe and is surrounded be some great restaurants. Very comfortable beds. Excellent hosts - we felt ill after our booster and they took care of us, very kind people.

Amazing stay in a central penthouse with a stunning city view

The view from the flat is astonishing. You can see all of Quito in every direction. Alberto and Elena are very welcoming and helpful hosts, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Breakfast was also amazing, with different fresh tropical fruits every morning.

Lovely place

The couple welcomed us to their apartment. They are very warm and helpful. We had a very nice breakfast with a beautiful view. The next day we had a flight at night and the guy brought us food bags for the flight it was very nice.lovely place.

A comfortable place to rest in a good location in Quito New Town.

Good location in Quito New Town. The host was really friendly and engaged in conversation with us every so often to share information about the city. Beautiful apartment. Tasty breakfast. The host also helped us organise reliable transport to the airport when we needed.

Amazing view in a beautiful accommodation

We were greeted very nicely and found ourselves in a beautiful penthouse with an amazing view. Our room was clean and comfortable. The owners were available for questions and did their best to make us feel welcome. The location feels safe even if the plaza foch is only three blocks away.

Would stay there again

Decorated well, good breakfast with a homemade touch. Welcoming hosts. We missed breakfast the second day as we had to leave early do they have us a boxed meal with a nice note

The place was not easy to find from the street.
