Spacious room, good location, very kind and helpful staff
Liked everything and enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much.
Some vegetables at breakfast, which was good, could have been a nice addition

Good location and staff communication. Gym and breakfast were great.
Bar closes at midnight. Could do with a kettle jn the room as boiling water in the coffee machine gave a the taste of coffee
The bath tub leaked and flooded the entire bathroom. There was no point changing rooms as we were there 1 night

This has become our go to hotel when we are in Quito which is quite often. We like the location and we always stay in room 412 which is a suite with separate seating area, large bedroom, spacious bathroom and coffee and tea making facilities which is very much appreciated. The included daily breakfast, while not lavish is good and we like the outdoor terrace attached to the restaurant.
This is a very small thing, but the pillows - 2 per person are all harder than we like. Perhaps a hard and a soft pillow would offer a better choice.

Location and room structure
At check in, i was charged in advance all my stay. After the payment, receptionist wanted to charge me 100 USD for possible damages or losses prevention and she wanted in cash. I saod that booking statement did not have nothing like that and I was not going to pay. I would pay any damage or losses if they happened at the check out. After long discussion the reception attendant said that she was going to "allow me" to stay under her responsability. She was doing a favor to me, axcording the attendandt. I showed her the booking print that did not have any mentioning about extra payments. It was reaaly unpleasant situation. I felt very uncomfortable and in weak position because I was about to be refused to stay in a hotel that was booked and paid in advance. I don't lnow what wpuld happen if I did not insisted in getting what I agreed on my booking
I had to tell her to call the police! Incredeible!.

I would like to stay once again if I go to Quito again.
Room was not too big and nor too small. Perfect fit for solo traveler.
Bed was comfy, room temperature was also great.
Breakfast was also delicious.
I especially loved Juice machine. It was amazing! I could enjoy fresh orange juice every morning.
but if there are more variation of breakfast food, it would be much better.
Water temperature was too hard to control.
There were no intermediate temperature, so I felt quite hard when I took a shower.

They upgraded me to a suite which was way too big for me but I'm not complaining. The view of the city from the suite was beautiful. Everything in the suite was big and spacious.
No issues.

The floor to ceiling windows in the room, breakfast.
Seemed to be construction going on at night above us- it was loud.

The location was good, with lots of walking areas available. Pretty much centre of the city (which is very long) and not quick to get anywhere. Our rooms were always clean we were pleasantly greeted by all staff.
The internet is not great. Essentially had to sign in on our laptops several times and it would send us to Microsoft browser, then flake out a little while in, pretty frustrating system. The breakfast had some pros, like fresh juice and fruit, but the eggs were runny each morning and the bread/cheese choices were pretty plain. They keep one street entrance set of doors locked, so it was confusing for cabs and uber which would show up at an entrance and we were at the other side of the building. The windows are paper thin with poor seals, so you hear the party bus, dogs and bars pretty much through the night.

Best hotel we had in Quito for the best price. The room was huge, very clean with everything we needed. The gym is great with a lot of options. The breakfast was great. They even have a free parking garage. The wifi internet was very fast. If you ask me it's 5 stars hotel.
Almost everything was perfect. At the night we've heard the people from the street. We arrived to the breakfast 5 minuts before the end time and they told us we can't stay there.
