De kamer zag er erg netjes uit. En al die oude elementen die bewaard zijn gebleven prachtig. Het was ook nog is bij het oude centrum gelegen.

Good location.
The room is full of unnecessary things, so there is no place to put your own things. Also you can see the dust on that unnecessary things. Very uncomfortable bed. Parking costs 18 Eur.

Amazing location and host
Small, but absolutely understandable considering the price

The location is fantastic. The house has lots of characters and the room and bathroom very comfortably decorated.
A small cooking stove or a microwave would be helpful.

The location was great and the bed was comfy. Even though you are right in the middle of Bamberg, it was so quiet. Very nice and uncomplicated stay...the communcation with Alexandra was very clear and she was easily reachable. Would totally recommend the Himmelstube for a nice stay in Bamberg
The shower head didn't work properly.

Place is just as the pictures show, absolutely beautiful! It's also super central, it's within the old town. Includes filter coffee and tea. The bathroom is spacious. Bed is queen size, super comfy.
Streets can be a bit noisy at night as tours stop a few houses away. If you go to bed early consider bringing earplugs.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer, man muß wissen es ist ziemlich klein :-) lovely decorated room, you need to know it's quite small :-) the host Alexandra is always awaylable and helpful, Alexandra ist immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit! Meine Frau war dort mit Ihrer Freundin 5 Tage, die Lage ist perfekt am Fluß gelegen, My wife enjoyed 5 days with a friend, it is situated in the centre at the river Regnitz, just ideal to walk everywhere. Idea um alles zu Fuß zu erreichen :-) Herzliche Grüße, best regards Martin

Stylish small apartment, very well equipped for a short stay. Great location. Reasonably priced drinks in the fridge with honesty box.
A microwave or hot plate would have been a good addition.

The location is excellent, an easy stroll away from the Altstadt and restaurants, bars, shops. Parking is safe in the underground garage just off the bridge, signposted P- Altstadt, which is a 2-min walk from the apt. The keys were in the key safe, collection was easy. The apartments were spotless, but as we had two apartments, one was only accessible via the winding staircase. So only suitable for people whose mobility is great.
Alexandra, the host, was very helpful and even booked us a table at a busy restaurant, the Hofbräu, where we had a delicious dinner of German dishes.
The fridge was stocked with cold, bottled water, coke, beer, etc, which were very reasonably priced, although we didn't have any. The bathroom was quite spacious, so we stored our cases in there at night. The mini-kitchen was very useful, we had breakfast and could easily wash up / dry everything. There was tea / coffee to make, kettle, toaster, coffee pot, plenty of crockery and silverware, washing-up liquid, new dish-cloth, hand soap and hand gel, due to Covid.
I think that the pink/frilly/soft/ very girly decor would put many people off staying here. Obviously furnished lovingly, due to the size of rooms, perhaps less would be more, so the apartments would not feel quite so much like a storage space for excess furniture and ornaments. We found it a little difficult to find space for our cabin-size cases, but stored them in the bathroom in the end.

The location was excellent and the host very helpful.
Too much "clutter" for such a small room. We had to move the furniture to open the room up a bit. While we appreciate some may like the eclectic look and feel of the apartment, we prefer the less is more when the place is that small.

Cute little apartment on a charming street. The shower was nice and big for how small the apartment is. There is functional space throughout the apartment. Owner is very nice and good communication.

Fantastic location in a quiet alleyway minutes away from the Bamberg Alstadt. Be sure to walk to the canal metres away from your front door and enjoy your first glimpse of a stunning Fachwerkhaus. Easy access to numerous restaurants and a few hundred metres to a REWE supermarket (easily the best in the area) and numerous banks. We found the HypoVereinsbank did not charge us any fees with a foreign ATM card. We decided to walk from the Bahnhof with a stroller and suitcase and had no issues at all. Alternatively there is a bus which stops right near the apartment (901) and is included with the DB Bayern Ticket. The apartment itself was spacious, well equipped and aesthetically pleasing. Finally a large shower well suited to tall people! Our host was friendly and accommodating, and made the check-in pleasant. Felt like we were at home and would happily return. Bamberg gefällt mir!
These issues didn’t affect us, but the deluxe apartment has a steep narrow staircase which would be awkward for someone with limited mobility or if you struggle to lift heavy things i.e. your suitcase. Also recommend calling the host 30 minutes before arrival to confirm check-in time.
