the owner is incredibly welcoming and hospitable. He even prepared us a flask of tea before our hike and cooked us a delicious breakfast. The location is also perfect for Adam’s Peak as you wont have to get a Tuk Tuk to the entrance. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We loved the host's hospitality, friendliness, neatley and very clean prepared room along with the easy arrangements of food for Adams Peak etc.
The room was very spacious and we specifically enjoyed the beautiful view into nature and green.
The shower pressure was very weak, can potnetially be improved and repaired though.

The owner was really nice, we chatted a bit and he told us some interesting things.
The food was superb as well as the room which was clean and quiet with nice view from the balcony. We loved our stay.
2.5
The location.
- they were difficult to contact when we tried to call them to get directions. This made getting to the property extremely challenging.
- the property still needs more renovations. Parts were incomplete.
- the quality of the towels, toiletries and bedding were not of an expected standard.
- the worst part was the breakfast. We weren’t told if it is included in the price or not. We weren’t shown a menu or given an idea of the cost. Thus it was surprising to be given an unexpectedly high bill, especially when we could have bought something to eat at a much cheaper price from near by restaurants. We didn’t want breakfast and ate very little of it. This lack of transparency amounts to exploiting the niceness of guests.

What can I say! The staff and owner Nimal were so helpful, friendly and personable they really made you feel like you were at home. Nimal has such great stories and does his best to help the local community. The welcome tea/coffee was very much appreciated!
The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Falling asleep in a huge bed, listening to the river and animals outside was the most relaxing sleep I've had in Sri Lanka.
The start of Adam's peak hike is about 10 minutes walk through town, so perfectly located to avoid the busy crowds. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the sandwich packs for the hike were just what was needed. I'd definitely stay here again!
Everything was wonderful.

Location is very convenient, just a short stroll away from Nallathaniya, about 10 mins walk to the start point of Sri Pada. Great view from the rooms / balconies, as well as the hospitability of the hosts were astonishing. Rooms very clean and the hosts are ready to help and accommodate every request!

The room was big and the bathroom too.
Nimal is such a great host. He was super nice and polite and he cooked for us a very good dinner and breakfast (after the sunrise trail).
The guesthouse is close to the beginning of the trail to Adam’s peak.

From the very first minute we entered the hotel we felt comfortable with the hospitality by owner Nimal, He is so friendly and kind made us comfortable throughout our stay.
And the food was so good. You won't even expect you can get such tasty food from a small place like this.
Location is so close to Adam's peak. So whoever planning to climb this is the perfect accomodation I can suggest. Even though we stayed few days at this place. This is going to be our go to place whenever we go to Nallathanniya from now on.
Our room had a nice view and what we appreciated most was the perfectly clean bathroom (!!) and a thicker blanket to put on top if our sheets.
There is nothing we didn't like about this place to be honest.

I had a very big room with a fantastic view to the nearby lake and mountains.
Everything was clean.
The breakfast was very delicious.
And it is just a few minutes by foot to get to the start of Adam’s peak

The hospitality was great and the location was good for a hike to Adam's peak. They prepared a box with food for us to bring on the hike. The dinner and breakfast was delicious and there was a nice view from the room and dining hall.
No hangers available for clothes or towels.

Place is perfect to trek Adams peek. Besides that there is not much to do.
Rooms are spacious and staff is helpful. Even offers tea and coffee in the morning before going to Adams Peek.
Food is pretty expensive and the don't offer a menu. If you want nice and good prices with menu the hotel down the street "hugging Clouds" is nice

Great view .The staff was very helpful . I forgot my raincoat and they were good enough to provide with a one. The rooms were super clean . Washroom with hot water . Beds were quite comfortable with good mattresses and linen . Great value for money .
facilities were on different levels . Had to climb stairs but was not an issue

after 4 weeks in Sri Lanka, Nimal made indeed the best Dinner for us. Really worth eating at his place.

About 10 minutes walk to the start of Adam's peak, located next to the road on hill side, so you're actually going downstairs to enter your room. The entrance is though the balcony doors, with big tall windows at the sides. Spacious bathroom with expensive feel to it. Living place was big enough to easily accommodate 3 persons.
Looks like the hotel's still under construction, bedsheets had patch on them and overall looked old. Bathroom mirror was strained. Despite all of this I consider it great value for money I paid, as similar options in town look much worse.
P. S. Watch the video of hiking Adam's peak to decide if its worth it, keep in mind it's crowded even at 2 pm, and it wasn't even holiday.
