Idéal pour l'ascension du Adams Peak

Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil. La chambre est simple et propre. Les parties communes semblent être toujours en cours d'aménagement. J'ai trouvé la rue très bruyante (passage incessant des bus + klaxons), surtout que si on vient à cet endroit on sait qu'on ne va pas beaucoup dormir si on choisit de gravir le Adams Peak de nuit. Mais c'est le cas pour l'ensemble des établissements de cette rue. La situation de l'hôtel est idéale, à quelques minutes du départ de l'ascension. Le petit déjeuner était bon. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Sûrement le bruit de la rue pour me reposer. Mais ça sera la même chose dans n'importe quel établissement de la même rue.

Prisvärt, enkelt, mycket trevligt och gångavstånd till Sri Pada

Nära till Sri Pada, mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Fin utsikt över bergen. Mat efter önskan på hotellet. Kostnad mellan 3-6$ per måltid inkl juice.

Förbättringsförslag i all vänlighet: Gärna ett överlakan och inte bara filt. Spika igen myggnät tätare. Skruva fast dörrhandtag till toadörr som lossnat. Duschdraperi eller raka, så toagolvet ej är blött flera h efter dusch. Ta bort skräpet på restaurangtaket, vilket ses från altanen, så kan man fokusera på de vackra bergen. En meny med priser.

Ask for a price of any additional service in advance to avoid surprises

-friendly staff -tasty food -good starting point to the Adam's Peak

- no hot water in the bathroom - extra services offered by the owner, e.g. welcome drink (coconut juice) that we did not order - charged at the end of the stay (350 rupees per person) - be aware of prices of the homemade food offered by the owner - as per my experiences of other restaurants in Sri Lanka it was at least 2× more expensive than usual

Herzliches Homestay

Wir haben uns sehr wohlhefühlt und wurden lecker bekocht. Das Frühstück war das Highlight. Wir hatten den ganzen Tisch voller Essen. 😍 Die Zimmer waren sauber und wir hatten eine schöne warme Decke, da es in der Nacht kühl wird. Vielen Dank für den herzliche Service und alles Gute!

Die Preise für das Nachtessen waren etwas hoch aber es war lecker uns selbst gemacht. Dann bezahlen wir gerne mehr.

De vrouwelijke manager van het Hotel, ze was heel lief, behulpzaam en Engels sprekend. Als je haar iets vraagt dan doet ze dat. Bovendien is het eten altijd verrukkelijk!

Perfect place to stay for Adam’s peak.

Room was nice, beds were comfy, hot shower. Very close to Adam’s peak which was perfect for the hike. The host was the nicest host me and my sister have met on our trip so far. She cooked an incredibly tasting curry with rice the night before the hike and make us a great breakfast when we got back. Offered to make us sandwiches for the he hike also. We felt very at home there. Definitely recommend.

Poor

The staff was really friendly, but unfortunately I can not recommend the place. The room had poor facilities, the bathroom was not clean and there was a construction side from the hotel just in front of my rom. They were working till late night, which was really annoying considering that I was just staying there for doing the Adams Peak hike. So there was not much sleep for me before I started walking.

Strong recommendation

The owner of the place was a lovely woman, always there to meet our demands and needs. The room was simple and clean, food was very nice, especially the variety and size of the breakfast was extraordinary considerin the prize. Located closest to the starting point of the Adam's peak walk its a strong recommendation to anyone coming here. Enjoy the hospitality of the owner and the beautiful nature around!

We did the Adam's Peak and the owner was very informative. She was making breakfast as we returned. The room was clean. Dinner was average. All in all it was nice.

The guesthouse is really well situated if you want to climb Adam's Peak. The host family is very nice and the little kids are cute :)

The breakfast was a bit disappointing (very minimalistic), we pimped it with food that we brought with us...

If going to Adams Peak this stay is appropriate. Is a village at the bottom of the mountain. Breackfast and dinner are very good. Mrs.can arrange tuk tuk for resanable prize. After a challenging night climb a shower with warm water. Very nice.

Amazing place to stay! Very good food! We stayed 2 nights. Went to the Adam's Peak at 2:30 AM and host surprised us with take away sandwitches. That was so adorable! Omelette for breakfast was so delicious! Also dinners were really easy but good! They gave us so much (good) food and fruit and we felt like visiting granny. :) All family were super friendly and always made us smile. Room and bed were good, had a good sleep. We really liked location - quiet, peaceful and a beautiful green view. Grocery shops and some tuk-tuks are near hotel so we had a good and easy 2 day trip around this place. :) We really recommend this hotel! It was sad to leave.

Great location

The location is really great which is very close to the Sri pada, and there are enough restaurants nearby. It has all basic facilities and staff are very friendly. They will arrange food even if you are arriving late night.

The food is expensive than the nearest restaurants. It's better to go nearest restaurants which are 24/7 open and in a walking distance.

Best place to stay near Dalhousie

Location: Very close to Sripada trail start. Well appointed rooms, clean and comfortable. Delicious food. Quiet surroundings. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Best place to stay before or after climbing Adams Peak.
