Friendly staff, decent WiFi (important for me since I work remotely), good price

Mold on the ceiling and bathroom, water keeps leaking in the bathroom so the floor is always wet. The bathroom could use renovation

Great view of the lagoon, comfortable chairs outside the hotel. Friendly front desk manager. The room was pretty clean.

Very, very bad service from the restaurant staff. We waited for an hour to be served in an almost empty restaurant. The waiter was mostly on his mobile phone ignoring customers.

I stayed for a few days on my way to & from Koh Rong Sanloem and will go again!

Rooms in the back are quiet with good wifi. Location is excellent with view of the river, very close to the Old French Bridge and the boats to Kep ($15 return) or the sunset cruise ($5 including a free beer). Also close to many many excellent restaurants, including Vanna's, Twenty Three Bistro, & Kampot Seafood & Pepper (where you can also take a Cambodian cooking class). Also, just in front of Vanna's (on the same road as Good Morning Kampot) a baker has a stall in the morning selling excellent breads & pastries.

Unfortunately, Robin Williams did not have a morning radio show "Good Morning Kampot." (that is a joke referring to an old movie set in Vietnam). I have nothing bad to say.

The staff were nice enough but not the best value for money in my opinion.

Nice dining area downstairs and good views from the terrace upstairs. Friendly staff.

The shower was weak and not very warm. The doormat used to catch drips from the A/C was very dirty and once wet it would leak red dirty water everywhere. There was some mold on the ceiling also.

The guest house in the downtown. The breakfast and the staff was good, nice…

The room so old and poor. only one bed one chair and one old table you have. The bathroom was horrible. the ceiling was perforated.

Moved to third floor from second, mid week stay. Against my wishes due to bad knees, with a 3 hour wait for the room to be cleaned. They had sold my room to a walk in family because it had 2 beds. Again, against my wishes. Could not move out as the town was fully booked for new year

Rough around the edges (understandably so due to lack of guests for so long) with a great view.

The views of far away Kep and Bokor mountain from our room were great. Lucky to meet the family who runs the place, along with some nice friends of theirs.

Hoping high season will bring more to the place. Then it will return to its glory.

Lackluster, bare-minimum accommodation in a good location

Location was incredible and really the only reason I would recommend choosing this hotel.

The room was shabbier than expected. Stains in the wall, holes in the ceiling, a crusty, unabsorbent towel, and a cold shower in a bathroom with very poor draining. To be fair, the rate I paid - $8 / night - was very affordable, but despite the incredible location, I wish I had chosen a nicer place. I think you could get much more value just by spending a few more dollars per night at another hotel.

Locations, the staff was helpful even I checked in very late midnight after arrived from other province and searched their location wrong on map maybe the internet problem turn 3 round to found this, love the stair style, location next to the river

the bed they set up head away from charging area which is we need most for a short stay to refill battery comfy to not get up and take phone whenever want or to checking next destinations to go for to do, so I moved bed alone closer but uncomfy sleeping, wall bedroom a bit dirty also the outside look so old, the picture in their booking all not belong to their location just to attract how it looks the real location totally difference the room either not in this location
